Yodin Zaku Fanart || Splinterlands Art Contest Week 249 (Eng/Esp)

Hello everyone, welcome to a new publication. Happy start of the week, have a nice day!

This time, to participate in the weekly Splinterlands community contest, I wanted to make a fanart of the Yodin Zaku card. This is a demon, fire type element. To be honest, I've been planning to make a fanart of this card for a long time, but I put other characters ahead and I left it a bit forgotten hehe. One of the things I love about this character is his big fur and claws, it gives him a good size and makes him look big and quite strong.

Yodin Zaku was a war demon from the pre-splinter times so long ago. He was a hybrid child born of two warring races, the Efreet and the Bulludae, the war demons.

Step by step:

First I started with a sketch. I wanted to make this character from the front to show his full face, I think that big smile he has gives him power. To make body I usually use me as a reference to be closer to the best proportions of the drawing.

Then with a couple of eyeliner markers was tracing the contours of the drawing and lines that it carries.

Here I began to draw the face of the character and the cream-colored fur he has. The fire charges that he carries in his hands I did starting with the outline of the flare, which I did with a red color, then I was blurring that inwards and so going to dark orange, then orange and finally the yellow color.

Here I started to draw the red fur. First I made these little bits of yellow lighting that transfer the fireballs coming out of the character's hands. Then I used the colors red, dark orange, brick red and brown.

And lastly I added a background. I wasn't so sure whether to make it black or midnight blue. In the end I chose blue as I think it makes the character stand out a bit more.

Hola a todos, bienvenidos a una nueva publicación. Feliz inicio de semana les deseo, que tengan buen día!

Está vez, para hacer participación en el concurso semanal de la comunidad de Splinterlands quise hacer un fanart del la carta de Yodin Zaku. Este es un demonio, de elemento tipo fuego. Siendo sincero, llevo mucho tiempo planeando hacerle un Fanart a esta carta, pero puse otros personajes por delante y lo deje un poco olvidado jeje. Una de las cosas que me encanta de este personaje es su gran pelaje y garras, le da un buen tamaño y hace ver que es grande y bastante fuerte.

Yodin Zaku era un demonio de la guerra de los tiempos anteriores a la astilla hace tanto tiempo. Era un niño híbrido nacido de dos razas en guerra, los Efreet y los Bulludae, los demonios de la guerra.

Paso a paso:

Primero empecé por un boceto. Quse hacer a este personaje de frente para mostrar completa su cara, pienso que esa gran sonrisa que tiene le da poder. Para hacer cuerpo suelo usar me como referencia para estar más cerca de las mejores proporciones del dibujo.

Luego con un par de marcadores delineadores fue trazando los contornos del dibujo y lineas que esté lleva.

Acá empecé a dibujar la cara del personaje y el pelaje color crema que tiene. Las cargas de fuego que lleva en las manos las hice empezando por el contorno de la llamarada, que hice con un color rojo, luego fui difuminando eso hacia dentro y así pasando al naranja oscuro, luego al naranja y por último el color amarillo.

Aca empece a dibujar el pelaje rojo. Primero fui haciendo estos pedacitos de iluminación amarilla que transfieren las bolas de fuego que salen de las manos del personaje. Luego use los colores rojo, naranja oscuro, rojo ladrillo y el color café.

Y de último le añadí un fondo. No estaba tan seguro de si hacerlo de color negro o azul noche. A la final elegí el azul ya que creo que hace que el personaje resalte un poco más.
