Greetings dear readers! It is an honor to be sharing with you once again.
as usual we choose a character from Splinterlands and we will try to do something artistic with it, this week the turn is for the beautiful Sarius, the character is a bit chubby and with musculature, it's something different to what I'm used to draw.
even so I think the result was interesting, I hope you like it and have a nice time reading my weekly submission for the art contest...

We started the sketch in blue, originally I was just going to put one of his swords and one arm up as a sign of strength, but I feel that would not be true to the character.

Iniciamos el boceto en color azul, originalmente solo iba a colocar una de sus espadas y un brazo arriba en señal de fuerza, pero siento que eso no sería fiel al personaje.

after many corrections and new ideas I finished the sketch and we can move to the next step, this sketch is built in 2 different layers, that helps me to edit and delete certain things that are needed.

despues de muchas correcciones y nuevas ideas termine el boceto y podemos pasar al siguiente paso, este boceto esta construido en 2 capas diferentes, eso me ayuda a editar y borrar ciertas cosas que hagan falta.

after this we can draw the final lineart in a dark tone and slightly thinner lines.

luego de esto podemos dibujar el lineart final en un tono oscuro y lineas un poco mas delgadas.

here we can see the finished lines, this step took me some time, I feel that I'm not fully concentrated in my work but I don't want to give up... so we continue.

aqui podemos apreciar las lineas terminadas, este paso me llevo algo de tiempo, siento que no estoy del todo concentrado en mi trabajo pero no me quiero rendir... asi que continuamos.

Time to apply all the base color, for this we will use different layers, this helps when editing any little thing.

Momento de aplicar toda la base de color, para esto usaremos diferentes capas esto ayuda al momento de editar cualquier cosita.

Once finished it is time for the shadows, for the skin we will use a soft blurring and not so pronounced shadows.
Una vez terminado es momento de las sombras, para la piel usaremos un difuminado suave y sombras no tan pronunciadas

The process is repeated in all the layers, we take the opportunity to apply certain shines and shadows to achieve a greater depth...

Se repite el proceso en todas las capas, aprovechamos para aplicar ciertos brillos y sombras esto para lograr una mayor profundidad...

In the swords I used the effect of brightness and illumination, I really like how they were, we continue with a background sketch, I had in mind a Roman coliseum.

En las espadas usé el efecto de brillo e iluminacion, me gusta mucho como quedaron, seguimos con un boceto de fondo, tenia en mente un coliseo romano.

it only remains to give lights and shadows, without much detail so as not to diminish the importance of the character.

solo queda darle luces y sombras, sin mucho detalle para no restar importancia al personaje

Finally we finished, I could say that this was an experiment, I feel it is important to get out of the comfort zone from time to time....

Finalmente terminamos, podria decir que este fue un experimento siento que es importante salir de la zona de confort de vez en cuando...
