Process/Proceso

We started the sketch with the basic shapes, and then we give details and corrections for the hair, I took into consideration the original character and some photos of friends, I think with that level of volume it looks nice.

Iniciamos El boceto con las formas básicas, y luego vamos dando detalles y correcciones para el cabello, tuve en consideración al personaje original y algunas fotos de amistades, creo que con ese nivel de volumen se ve agradable

Once the sketch is ready we do the lineart, for that I used a 50% hardness brush and black color. I plan to experiment for my next work with a much softer hardness.

Una vez listo el boceto hacemos el lineart, para eso usé un pincel de dureza al 50% y color negro. Tengo pensado experimentar para mi próximo trabajo con una dureza mucho más suave.

As a first step in the color stage apply the background color with a lighter tone at the bottom, after this we apply the color
In the case of the skin and clothes the base color is one of the darkest, in this case we only need to add lights on it and save work time.

Como primer paso en la etapa de color aplique el color del fondo con un tono mas claro en la parte de abajo, luego de esto aplicamos el color base de todo el personaje.
En el caso de la piel y ropa el color base es uno de los mas oscuros, en este caso solo queda agregar luces sobre el y ahorrar tiempo de trabajo.

When we finish applying all the base color, we give details starting with the background, for this case we draw some clouds, we do this with several brushes as the main one the watercolor brush.

Al terminar de aplicar todo el color base, damos detalles empezando por el fondo, para este caso dibujamos algunas nubes, esto lo hacemos con varios pinceles como principal el de acuarela.

Unlike what we are used to, the sun is not yellow "unless it is at sunrise or sunset", our background sun will be very bright and following the logic we give lights to the skin as well.

A diferencia de lo que acostumbramos, el sol no es de color amarillo "a menos que sea en amanecer o atardecer", nuestro sol de fondo será muy brillante y siguiendo la lógica damos luces a la piel tambien.

We do the same step with the rest of the different layers, be it the clothes, hair, eyes and accessories.

Hacemos el mismo paso con el resto de las diferentes capas, sea la de la ropa, cabello, ojos y accesorios.

To finish we add details to the wings, and then we reinforce the lights and shadows that interact with it.

Para terminar, agregamos detalles a las alas, y luego reforzamos las luces y sombras que interactúan con ella.
