My strategy changes all the time. For a long time, I rented out almost all of my cards. That was paying really well for a while. That's how I ended up with a LOT of extra rewards cards. It was too tempting to keep spending my rental income on more really cheap cards.
After the rental market kinda tanked a bit and the soulbound rewards cards became a thing, I started delegating extra cards out to alt accounts to play with. In the last week or so, though, I've been selling a bunch of the extra cards to make my main deck more competitive. I'm trying to max out some of the cards I didn't have at max level yet, while I still can. I want to make sure my Untamed deck is as strong as possible because my plan is to probably keep playing in Wild when Untamed is no longer part of modern.

I habe a few good untamed cards but far from max level, I habe been playing them in wild for a while now and I don‘t think O start playing modern, but who knows. With land needing good staked cards I might end up in the modern leagues after all…
