Hello friends of Hive and Splinterlands. Today I have a simple new illustration of the character Vampiric Blossom for this week's Social Media Challenge, so what better idea than to make a fanart to spread the game's content.

I will show you the step by step of this particular character, hope you all like it.

I started by sketching the center of the plant, then the rest of the body, stem, branches and leaves that complement the design. Finally, I drew the teeth.

For this drawing I decided to use some ink. I went over the drawing with a black ink pen and added small details with a fine tip black marker. The inside of the mouth I painted with a black marker with a thicker tip.

I started by applying as a base color different shades of green in watercolor around the plant, except for the lips, where I colored with a lilac tone.

For the stem, I applied shades of dark green and brown.

Then I started to mix the colors a bit with violet, dark blue, yellow and pink to get a nice play of colors.

I applied red watercolor and magenta color on the teeth and lips for the blood.

This is how it finally ended up looking. I went over the figure a bit with different colors to make the background a bit more harmonious, in which the yellow color stands out.
