CHALLENGE RULES

RULESET: AIMLESS

Description: All monsters get a +2 armor buff at the beginning of the game.

Note: Use magic attacks, but the opponent will do the same, so focus on HP. Is countered by Rust or Wizard of Eastwood's summoner ability.

The Battle

ARMORED UP	All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat.	Use magic attacks, but the opponent will do the same, so focus on HP. Is countered by Rust or Wizard of Eastwood's summoner ability.
BRIAR PATCH	All Monsters have the Thorns ability.	Try to avoid uses of melee monsters or use monsters with Reflection Shield.
STAMPEDE	The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.	Higher HP and speed are the keys in this ruleset. Dispel helps to remove Trample.

Lineup

It was a 31 mana, an armored game with Thorns. So my main strategy was thas use mainly magic and ranged monsters with some repair support.

Card	Strategy
	Lux Vega - My default choice in most of the games. As most of the time, her stats are ideal for this game. All three stats boosts were useful in this game.
	Baakjira - Very high health tank, with no attack, but good support abilities. I often used Baakjira as my main tank. And it worked this time too.
	Angelic Mandarin - Very good ranged monster with good support skill and only cost 3 mana. In lower mana water games I use it very often.
	Deeplurker - One of the best opportunity monster in the game and it can also reduce enemy melee attack potential.
	Merdaali Guardian - My ideal support monster to the middle of every water team. With healing, health increase, and repair she can fix every problem :)
	Merdhampir - I love the water reward cards, all of them, and the Merdampir is not an exception too. It can be very powerful in and of the game. I used it as a backline monster cause with life steel he can be strong enough to survive some more attacks.
	Doctor Blight - The doctor is a camouflage monster, with a magic attack. I think he was an average fit in this game.

Battle - Replay

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes. My general win rate was over 85% so my strategy was a good choice.

But if I was braver, I should use the new Venari Marksrat and my win chance go above 90%. (My main concern was that I only have level 3 Marksrat)

Battle Results

Do you like Armored Up ruleset? Why or why not?

Yes. It can be a good fit with repair monsters and also you can counter it easily with magic monsters. Armor is one of my favorite stats so I enjoy this type of battles.
