Overview

Pelacor Conjurer is a cheap (2) mana life monster without attack. But without attack not means it is useless (even has better use cases in the new soulbound meta). He can be a very good tank in the low mana matches, cause of good speed and good abilities.

Stats

AbilitiesLevelDescription
FLYING1Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability
MAGIC REFLECT4When hit with Magic damage, does reduced Magic damage back to the attacker
DIVINE SHIELD7The first time the Monster takes damage it is ignored.
PHASE10Magic attack can miss this Monster (using the same hit/miss calculation as for Melee and Ranged attacks)

Market prices

However it is out of print now, but it is still a very cheap card. There is not a very big difference in regular vs gold price (on the same level), but the regular is still a better deal, I think.

Both regular and gold foil cards can get for rent very cheaply. So it is better to rent this card than buy it (nowadays).

Battle RulesetsDescriptionInfo
HEAVY HITTERSAll Monsters have the Knock Out ability.Use a monster with Stun ability. There is a 50% chance that your monster with Stun will be able to stun enemy monsters, but if successful, all your monsters will deal double damage to that stunned opponent.
HEALED OUTAll healing abilities are removed from Monsters and Summoners. You can skip monsters and summoners having Affliction. Life Leech is not impacted by this ruleset.

Lineup

It was a high mana game, without healing. I don't have high-level life or death summoner so Quix was a good starting point.

CardStrategy
Quix the Devious - My only available max level dragon summoner, but it is a good fit to this rulesets.
Agor Longtail - I only renting a Level 1 version, but Agor is a very strong monster in this level too. Taunt with very high life and void armor, and with two types of attack. One of my favorite Riftwatchers cards.
Pelacor Conjurer - Monster of the week. It can be a good off-tank too.
Void Dragon - One of my first chaos legion monsters. It is very speedy with phase and flying. The only problem is that only attacks 2, but for 5 mana it is a good deal.
Adelade Brightwing - Very good magic support minion, one of the best and also good pair of Agor with the repair.
Djinn Renova - Another very good support monster of the previous reward cards. I use it a lot (cause I had a max-level version from her :))
Chaos Dragon - My other favorite chaos legion dragon monster. 4 Magic damage with Blast can cause a lot of damage to the enemy. I use it every high mana magic dragon matches.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes, It was a good game. However Agor was only level 1, I can still win the game against the enemy's max-level monsters. I did not change anything, it was a good lineup.

Do you like PELACOR CONJURER.? Why or why not?

Yes, I like it. It is a very good low mana tank, and at a higher level, it is good against magic too. It is cheap to buy / cheap to rent. I use it a lot of times.
