Splinterlands Art Contest Week 282: Pirate of Eight

This is my entry for the weekly Splinterlands Art Contest found HERE

I was going for a Geena Davis from Cutthroat Island look.

Also trying to draw without a line art layer which doesn't usually end up looking that good. For me anyway. Used an AI art generator for the background layer also.

Here are the individual process steps:

Step One: Rough Draft

Step Two: Flat outline

Step Three: Create layer masks for the different colors and hide the rough draft layer.

Step Four: Shading!

Step Five: Create a background layer using AI image generator.

Step Six: A few details like the eyes and sign my initials at the bottom right so you know it's really me
