This is a fantastic and concise overview. I hadn't considered making alt accounts for side chain tokens, but since I started an alt account for another project, I may consider doing that. Thanks for the tip.

It was a bit of a laborious process to get started, but once you've done it - maximum yield on your upvotes, worth doing sooner rather than later!

And additional security with your funds spread across different accounts.

Good to know. So, an alt account for any other tribe I typically post in or tag? Is there a point where over a certain number of accounts managing them becomes tedious and results in diminishing returns on time / investment? I appreciate the input.

It depends how you manage them - I do leo, spt and hive actively for pob I've just delegated everything for a return.

It's also possible to follow curation accounts on most of these alts, so if it's just curation returns you want, that's the way to go.

Check out @amr008 - he does delegation offers for most tokens.

That all makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks for the nice round-up of splintertalk. Can you explain what POB is? I read through the comments, but i don't get it.
Also, you have alt accounts as a new HIVE Account to vote on all the different platforms, because else you would lose voting power?

I think POB. was founded by a bunch of people who were getting down voted on Hive so they formed POB - so it's those early adopters who bought a lot and now the price is largely propped up by one alpha, and then there's a bunch of people who see an opportunity to be a big fish in a smaller pond.

There are no rules specific to the community - they generally don't like downvoting.

It's just another token, limited supply of 21 million which is appealing!
