Strange thing to see the new packs selling so fast at $5 each, considering that the out-of-print Chaos hardly sells for under one buck...

That's a great observation! It might be because buyers are mainly existing players, not new ones, and they already have CL cards at the level they want. This is the only reason I could find, otherwise, the price differential is too high.
