Hello to all the members of this community! I love crafts, so I couldn't go without trying something different for the Splinterlands art contest in its round 265. A while ago I bought some dolls with the intention of transforming them, making them cute clothes and even cosplays. So after coming across the character of the Enchanted Pixie, I couldn't help but fall in love with the idea of turn one of my dolls into a magical being of the forest.

I love the Splinterlands art contest, since it allows any type of artistic expression to participate, so I like to go through the cards until my mind activates with some striking idea. When I saw the Enchanted Pixie card, I fell in love with her design and knew I had to design one of my projects for her. I immediately thought of one of my dolls, mostly because of the tone of her hair and her huge eyes. I didn't know how I was going to do it, but I got to work with the materials I had at my disposal.

The first thing I did was make the wings. To do this, I drew them on a leaf and painted them with markers and colored crayons, making a few light details with acrylic paint.

In the same way with paper, I made the missing pieces for the wings and glued them to the main piece. To give it firmness, I placed a piece of acetate on top, which I cut out in the shape of the wings.

The next thing was to move on to the hair. The truth is, it hurt me to cut it and since this type of doll is almost bald, I thought the best thing was to give her a hairstyle to resemble a low cut. As expected, I couldn't resist the idea of adding accessories of my personal use, flowers and butterflies.

I used some cone-shaped pieces of paper to make the pointed ears, which I painted with skin-colored paint and attached to the doll's ears with some adhesive.

For the "clothes", I thought about using real leaves, so I went to the building's garden to collect some leaves that could be useful. On black ribbons, I glued the leaves with white glue.

Very carefully, I placed the clothes on the doll, sewing them on both ends of the ribbons. I placed a beautiful gem-shaped stone that I got among my things at chest height. And then, I spread some white glue with a brush for the leaves and some of the hair.

To add the wings to the back of the doll, I used nylon thread, which I sewed on the shoulder part, leaving a short end at the back so I could lift the doll through the thread.

Once I had it ready, the next thing was to take the photographs. I went with my sister to the gardens of the buildings and found an area with plants that looked like a forest. Once I took the photographs, I edited them with Photoshop so I could paint the doll's eyes like the Pixie's. I am very happy with the result. I would like to be able to recreate other characters' outfits. Although it pains me to undress my Pixie, because she looks really lovely. It was a very fun and quite relaxing process for me.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad! Me encantan las manualidades, por lo que no podía quedarme sin intentar algo diferente para el concurso de arte de Splinterlands en su ronda 265. Hace un tiempo compré unas muñecas con el pienso de transformarlas, hacerles ropa linda y hasta cosplays. Así que luego de toparme con el personaje de la Pixie Encantada, no pude evitar quedar enamorada con la idea de convertir a una de mis muñecas en un ser mágico del bosque.

El concurso de arte de Splinterlands me encanta, ya que permite cualquier tipo de expresión artística para participar, así que me gusta ir revisando las cartas hasta que mi mente se activa con alguna idea llamativa. Cuando vi la carta de la Pixie Encantada, me enamoré de su diseño y supe que tenía que destinar uno de mis proyectos a ella. Inmediatamente pensé en una de mis muñecas, más que nada por el tono de su cabello y sus enormes ojos. No sabía cómo iba a hacer, pero me puse manos a la obra con los materiales que tenía a disposición.

La modelo, lista para su transformación mágica

Lo primero que hice fue elaborar las alas. Para ello, las dibujé sobre una hoja y las pinté con marcadores y crayones de colores, haciendo unos cuantos detalles de luz con pintura acrílica.

De la misma forma con papel, elaboré las piezas que faltaban para las alas y las pegué en la pieza principal. Para darle firmeza, le coloqué encima una pieza de acetato, la cual recorté con la forma de las alas.

Lo siguiente fue pasar al cabello. La verdad, me daba dolor cortarlo y como éste tipo de muñecas es casi calva, pensé que lo mejor, era hacerle un peinado para semejar un corte bajo. Como era de esperarse, no me pude resistir ante la idea de colocarle accesorios de mi uso personal, de flores y mariposas.

Utilicé unos pedazos de papel en forma de cono para realizar las orejas puntiagudas, las cuales pinté con pintura color piel y pegué a las orejas de la muñeca con algo de adhesivo.

Para la "ropa", pensé en utilizar hoja reales, por lo que fui hasta el jardín del edificio a recolectar algunas hojas que pudieran servirme. En cintas de color negro, pegué las hojas con pega blanca.

Con mucho cuidado, le coloqué la ropa a la muñeca, cosiéndola en ambos extremos de las cintas. Le coloqué en la altura del pecho, una linda piedra en forma de gema que conseguí entre mis cosas. Y luego, Extendí algo de pega blanca con un pincel para las hojas y algo del cabello.

Para añadir las alas a la espalda de la muñeca, utilicé hilo de nylon, el cual cosí en la parte de los hombros, dejando un extremo lago en la parte trasera para poder elevar la muñeca a través del hilo.

Una vez que la tuve lista, lo siguiente fue tomarle las fotografías. Fui con mi hermana hasta los jardines de los edificios y hallé una zona con plantas que lucía como un bosque. Una vez que tomé las fotografíes, edité las mismas con Photoshop para poder pintarle los ojos a la muñeca como los de la Pixie. Estoy muy contenta con el resultado. Me gustaría poder recrear el atuendo de otros personajes. Aunque me da dolor desvestir a mi Pixie, porque se ve realmente encantadora. Fue un proceso muy divertido y bastante relajante para mí.
