Good day Hivers! Another day another new things to try on Hive.

For months I've been hearing about this new game on Hive called terracore, at first I didn't pay any attention to this games since I think I misread the details that this game is on Etherium. Since I'm not that much of a techy guy I didn't bother to check the game. Months have past and another game called Golem Overlord popped from nowhere and at day 2 I tried the game since It's on Hive. Joining in discord many is mentioning that GO is similar to Terracore so this time I checked the game finally, and to my surprise it's also operating in Hive.

The Beginning of a Legend

Since I find Golem Overlord as a game that fits my free time I tried playing Terracore. What I did is I bought an account, and it already have a stats that allowed me to try the different sides of the game. At first I was confused with all the things going on, the quest, boss fight, gears and all the stats. Joining the official discord really help clear things out, and slowly I understood how the game works.

When starting a new I really get very excited most of the time,and this usually leads me to make newbie mistake. I'll just list here some of the mistakes that I did starting the game, and hope some newbie like me will learn from it.

• At the beginning I saw the boss fight and immediately put the required favor to play the game, so this time I already opened some common crates and got a ship, and salvaged the rest to get some Flux. Flux is the token required to play in boss fights. So upon getting the requirement I started the boss fight without knowing one of the most important stats " luck " . So as expected my 2 boss fight failed since I only have a 5% luck, on the process I burned 3 Flux, hahaha to me. It turns out you need at least 8% luck to really have a chance to get a crate unless you are a very lucky person. So when planning to do boss fight be sure to have a substantial luck, the higher percentage the better.

15 Engineering and just under 200 defense means disaster

• Another mistake that I did is too much upgrade on my engineering without any stats on defense. Engineering determines the mine rate of scrap per hour so this is basically where scraps comes from. So what I did is I over upgrade this stat so the end result whenever I check my account to claim ,I am robbed . Balancing the engineering and defense is a must in the game to avoid relevant steal in your mined Scraps.

This are the most relevant mistakes that I made starting this game, hope it helps. As I progress into the game I know I will encounter more , and I'll be glad to share it specially for the new citizens in the game.

As a Final though on the game, I am enjoying the game since it is not eating too much of my time. And the adrenaline it gives when doing boss fight is really something. Many more updates will game, the game is still young I know that the community will help build it to the game that everyone wants and enjoy.
