Cryptic is one summoner I need to lvl up, I get beaten by Cryptic/Slade combos far too frequently. My Cryptic is only lvl 2 currently So what's the counter in Modern, any tips ?

There is another aspect to scarcity too, and you alluded to it with the Llama/Yodin/Kitty "opponent check", an individual card can be scarce AND high demand, a well know feature…
