Weekly HSBI Giveaway and a Gold Foil Splinterlands Card

It's been awhile since I have offered a giveaway. I used to do the daily giveaway with each post but to be honest it just started to get old. I do enjoy giving out HSBI to help others here in Hive because it's my way to give back to all of you that have been so kind and supportive of me during my last year of blogging.

I landed here through Splinterlands, I enjoyed playing the game and got the the point that I wanted to rent out cards but I didn't have enough resource credits (RC.) So I started blogging to get enough HP to cover those expenses but I ended up enjoying it so much that I spend more time here than I ever did in Splinterlands.

HIVE Power

This past week I finally surpassed 2500 HP grown pretty much organically with a goal to make it to 5000 by years end. I still have a long way to go! I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has helped me a long the was, especially the #silvergoldstackers .

The Giveaway

I will be giving out two prizes of five (5) HSBI chosen at random from all of the entrants. There will also be one gold foil Splinterlands card as a third prize. If you don't play Splinterlands just let me know and I'll send you an HSBI instead. To participate you need a reputation level of at least 25 and bots of course cannot win. And please one entry per person to make it fair to everyone.

To Enter

I would like you to simply tell me which community is your favorite to post in and why, that's it. I'm hoping to learn something new and maybe even try out some new communities for my future posts. I recently joined in with the Shadow Hunters and it's been a lot of fun. I'm hoping to hear about some more great communities!

The contest will end on Sunday at noon California Pacific Time. Just enter before then and you are in the contest. No need to upvote but if you choose to I would greatly appreciate it! And tips are always appreciated as well.

Choosing the winner

All entries will be placed on the Wheel of Names and I will spin it three times. The first prize will be 5 HSBI units. The second will be another 5 HSBI units. And the third will be for this card or one HSBI unit, your preference.

Since there will be three spins it is possible the same person could win all three prizes. I've never seen it happen before but you might get really lucky!

And since I am posting in the #freecompliments community I just wanted to remind everyone to take some time today to be kind. A little kindness can make a huge difference in someone's life. Please check out the community and consider joining us!

I've really started to enjoy the reflections community that tarazkp started. It gives me the freedom to just ramble on and talk about life and stuff like that. It's been really therapeutic for me. I don't use it all the time, but when I do, I know that my words will be well received.

Splinterlands has always been an excellent game to attract people to Hive!😊
They are now getting ready to collaborate with my favorite app @actifit so very nice!🤗
Why is this my favorite… along with Silvergoldstackers you ask!😇
So much of my day is spent on line, Actifit encourages me to get at least 10,000 steps, and go outside and explore!🤗

I've already mentioned it to you in private, I think not doing these giveaways daily is a better decision for several reasons, so good for you for pulling the trigger on that one! The people that are genuinely supporting your content, those that have grown connected to you will stick around anyway ;)

Congrats on the 2500 HP goal! You've done that MUCH faster than I ever did haha, you were smart leasing HP early on in your Hive career :) And yes silver gold stackers helps a ton and you will surely reach 5000 HP by the end of the year!

Nice switch up in giveaway too, this way you will learn a bit more about communities you may never heard about yet..

I have a few favourites currently, of which one is the @freecompliments community as it's the very best pick for any post that I don't see fit in another community but I also often pick it on purpose even though there's a dedicated community because I know my post will be read and that's a nice feeling!

If I have to share one that you may not have checked out yourself, I'd say check the Cinnamon cup of coffee community for all your coffee content. The people running it are super cool, they are supportive and I always get a smile on my face when a comment appears from them. They have nice contests too, so make sure to check if it's for you :)

Thanks! This just felt like a fun way to do it and learn something in the process. I've been doing a lot in the @freecompliments as well. I think I'll check out the coffee community though and share some of the different coffees I pick up. I tend to be a little picky about coffee, I like it to taste good!

I think I still have some !PIMP , my brain isn't working at 100% today. Must be the senility kicking in!

Aha, another picky coffee person. I'm the same. A tiny bit too much sugar or coffee creamer and you have yourself a grumpy me for messing up my coffee. Luckily for me, I rock at winging that without even measuring :)

That's even better for your health! I wish I could say the same because I only drink it exactly with the right proportion of sugar and coffee creamer and it has to be perfect. I think if I could skip the creamer, it would save me some kgs lol. BUT then I rather stop drinking it all together which I also did for 1,5 years in Budapest after having headaches every day. Then I learned HOW freaking toxic this stuff actually is as I went in withdrawal from not drinking it and it was even worse the first weeks :)

Back to drinking coffee now though, I should cut it down a bit again, which usually happens automatically during summer when it's too hot anyway..

I stick with one cup a day anymore, but it's a great antioxidant so worth drinking! Caffeine with drawl is never fun though!

I used to post a lot on THgaming community... however recently I am often hanging around on freecompliments community, so yeah... maybe I should call free compliments as my current favorite.

other that can be considered good too are We are alive community and PIMP. However I do not have much time like before, so I am not wondering out right now.

If you ask me a community it has to be leofinance as that is the place I gain plenty of knowledge and alpha
As for a platform /frontend it has to be inleo as it give so many options to interact be it

  • Long form posts
  • Polls
    Plus there is the opportunity to get curated by posting via inleo

My favorite community is the Splinterlands one. It was Splinterlands that brought me here, on Hive network, but it was the Hiveans that kept me here.
Another great community is the Actifit, because it makes me move out of chair, away from the computer and out in the fresh air.

I have yet to do Actifit, I guess I'm old school when I go exercise, don't want to fiddle with my gadgets. Splinterlands brought me in too, but now I don't really post there much. There's just so many good posts I didn't think I was adding much value!

I post most often in the FreeCompliments community as well.
Besides this one, I am second most active in the WOO community as I like to write about their upcoming wrestling themed game :D

If we're talking about favorite communities to post in, mine has to be @ladiesofhive, as that's the only one I've really posted in more than once. 😆 That's a function of how rarely I post, though, and no comment on them!
