The following match allowed me to get my MMR (Match Making Rating) back to the Gold III level at the beginning of this season.

I had always struggled against the Llama / Kron Combo. Because I started leveling up a few monsters only recently, it was almost always impossible for me to hit Kron for more than it would heal back.

However, having focused my energy on building up my Life Splinter around Uriel The Purifier brought me more options lately.

Rulesets: Spreading Fury + Earthquake
Mana Cap: 40
League: Silver I

In this specific instance, the Earthquake ruleset was very helpful because Uriel has the Flying ability while Kron has not.

Moreover, the Recharge ability was magnified by the Spreading Fury ruleset. Hitting normally for 9, this already huge damage climbed up to 15 after getting Enraged.

The hit was so powerful that a second hit wasn't even necessary. To be fair, Uriel got tremendous help from Adelade Brightwing, which was the one that finished the work.

Adelade, having also the Flying ability, makes the two of them an amazing duo in Earthquake situations.

The battle was close though. If Adelade wasn't able to close the game, Kron would have won the fight in the very next round.

In many ways, my Life's deck greatly facilitated the task of reaching Gold so far. I found this Splinter very versatile, and cost-effective, that comes in handy in a wide variety of situations.
