Hello splinterlands community, my name is Saudy and I came up to try something new that I had not encouraged me to do and I called my interest in the character of Wood nymph, because one day my boyfriend asked me for help to make a doll of this same character, this is my first participation in this contest, and it is also my first digital illustration, I hope you like it, let's see now the creative process :D.

Hola comunidad de splinterlands!, mi nombre es Saudy y me surgió intentar algo nuevo que no me había animado hacer y me llamo el interés el personaje de Wood nymph, ya que un día mi novio me pidió ayuda para hacer una muñeca de este mismo personaje, esta es mi primera participación en este concurso y también es mi primera ilustración en digital, espero sea de su agrado, veamos ahora el proceso creativo :D.

My first experience using a graphic tablet was surprising and I set out to make practice scratches, as my hand was not used to it, the strokes came out crooked haha I looked like a little girl drawing for the first time; After thinking about what pose I was going to use, I decided one with my back turned and started to draw a sketch as best I could :'3

Mi primera experiencia al utilizar una tableta grafica fue sorprendente y me dispuse hacer rallones de practica, como mi mano no estaba acostumbrada, los trazos salian torcidos jaja parecia una niña pequeña sibujando por primera vez; Luego de pensar sobre que pose iba a utilizar, decidi una dando la espalda y comence a trazar como pude un boceto :'3

In the next layer I drew all the lines that would conform the drawing, there are still some things to correct but it looks nice. :D

En la siguiente capa dibuje todas las lineas que conformarian el dibujo, aun faltan cosas por corregir pero ya se ve bonito :D

Here I was applying the colors that would be the baces of the skin and hair :3 using green tones like the reference image, I was still adapting with the digital pencil and as I had to use the keyboard every time I made a mistake, it was a little frustrating to make mistakes and you can't just erase them with a normal eraser haha but all this was a learning process and I could not give up just beginning.

Aqui fui aplicando los colores que serian las baces de la piel y el cabello :3 utilizando tonos verdes como el de la imagen de referencia, aun me estaba adaptando con el lapiz digital y como tenia que utilizar el teclado para cada vez que cometia un error, era un poco frustante el cometer errores y no podes simplemente borrarlos con un borrador normal jaja pero todo esto era un aprendizaje y no podia rendirme apenas comenzando.

I got excited and forgot to capture the process of the background, sorry, but here my idea is to convey that she has a forest in the background, and is in a small lake (my boyfriend took the picture haha).

Me emocione y olvide hacer capture del proceso del fondo, lo siento, pero aqui mi idea es transmitir que ella tiene un bosque de fondo, y esta en un pequeño lago (mi novio me tomo la foto jaja).

Utilize tonos claros y oscuros para darle contraste y me encanto muchisimo el resultado :D baje un poco el tono de las lineas del boceto principal ya que se marcaban mucho y la direfencia fue notoria.

I used light and dark tones to give contrast and I love the result :D I lowered a little the tone of the lines of the main sketch because they were very marked and the difference was noticeable.

To finish the details, I lowered the opacity of the lines layer and gave a couple of retouches to the drawing.
I'm very happy to share with you my first experience with digital art, I hope I can continue creating this kind of content as well as traditional art, it only remains to say goodbye and wish you a happy day :D

Para terminar los detalles, le bajé la opacidad a la capa de las líneas y di un par de retoques al dibujo.
Me alegra mucho poder compartir con ustedes mi primera experiencia con el arte digital espero poder seguir creando contenido de este tipo tanto como de arte tradicional, ya solo queda despedirme y desearles un feliz dia :D
