Saludos nuevamente queridos amigos de Splinterlands, después de unas semanas me animo a participar otra vez del concurso esta vez con el personaje llamado Flame Mephit según el lore de este personaje se trata de seres elementales menores que son invocados para tareas sencillas, en esta oportunidad para iluminar el camino a través del bosque con su flama.

Greetings again dear friends of Splinterlands, after a few weeks I dare to participate again in the contest this time with the character called Flame Mephit according to the lore of this character are minor elemental beings that are summoned for simple tasks, this time to light the way through the forest with his flame.

Lo primero fue la realización del dibujo obviamente y al tratarse de un ser tan servil la imagine como una criatura juguetona, agraciada y muy sonriente, danzando al ritmo del viento en medio del bosque y así resulto el dibujo que realice de este personaje, en especial me gusto su amplia sonrisa y ojos.

The first thing was the realization of the drawing obviously and being such a servile being, I imagined her as a playful, graceful and very smiling creature, dancing to the rhythm of the wind in the middle of the forest and that's how the drawing I made of this character turned out, I especially liked her wide smile and eyes.

Luego comencé a aplicar la base de color, para el fuego elegí un tono naranja bien saturado y tono de piel morena y aunque tenia la imagen de referencia ala mano creo que hice en tono bastante mas claro que la referencia.

Then I started to apply the base color, for the fire I chose a well saturated orange tone and brown skin tone and although I had the reference image at hand I think I did a tone much lighter than the reference.

Lo primero en lo que me enfoque en el coloreado fue en hacer el efecto de llamas que era donde me sentí mas insegura así que bloqueando el color de la capa de las llamas hice en primer lugar un degradado a unos tonos amarillos también bastante saturados y luego en capas superiores coloree las partes mas claras de amarillo pálido para dar el efecto de flamas fulgurantes, lamentablemente olvide tomar capturas de buena parte del proceso.

Luego coloree la piel la cual matice de mucho amarillo y naranjas tratando de reflejar las llamas en su piel, también fue difícil establecer de donde colocar los tonos de luz y sombra en vista que tenia grandes fuentes lumínicas alrededor.

The first thing I focused on in the coloring was to make the effect of flames that was where I felt more insecure so blocking the color of the layer of flames I first made a gradient to some yellow tones also quite saturated and then in upper layers I colored the lighter parts of pale yellow to give the effect of flashing flames, unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of much of the process.

Then I colored the skin which I shaded with a lot of yellows and oranges trying to reflect the flames on his skin, it was also difficult to establish where to place the light and shadow tones since I had large light sources around.

Por ultimo hice el fondo, del cual no tenia muchas ideas, pero por recomendación comencé a dibujar un paisaje nocturno en medio de un bosque, dibuje al menos tres capas de arboles para crear el escenario del personaje en un pequeño claro del bosque rodeada de vegetación.

Finally I made the background, which I didn't have many ideas, but by recommendation I started to draw a night landscape in the middle of a forest, I drew at least three layers of trees to create the scenery of the character in a small clearing in the forest surrounded by vegetation.

Y así ha quedado este personaje, me gusto mucho su sonrisa y el aura que esta transmite, espero que también haya sido del agrado de todos, nuevamente lamento mi falta de diligencia en tomar capturas mas seguidas del proceso.
