Thank you for introducing me to SprtsHub.io platform. It shouldn't surprise anyone to learn that visually Sprtshub seem to be a bit similar to Steemit, busy.org and other latest social platforms.

After all there is increasing amount of new social media sites build on decentralized blockchain and each one of them seem to have sligtly different vision of the future. Different concept of rewarding authors and promoting their work.

What I like about SprtsHub.io is the fact, that from the very first second us (users) should be aware that this site is focused on some particular subjects. Subjects mostly related to SPORT (fitness, soccer/football, NBA).

Focusing on some "niche" can be their strength and I'm not sure if categories not related to sport (poetry, art, music) is way to go. I think that attempts to reach out to wider audience will only end up in failure. Solid niche is what this platform should focus their efforts on.

Our objective is to grow the SprtsHub user base together.

Obviously I signed up and surely I would test SprtsHub. Hopefully others will do the same and share their experience with this platform.

Sprtshub is a specialized Content and Gaming (content & play) platform and we are working to make sure we deliver.

Users can post about everything Sports, health and fitness, photography, arts and games and we chose those categories because they are specialized and are not well given a place to thrive on blockchain social media.
Starting out, we see some users posting poetry and other articles not related to our genre and we hope in time they will get used to the platform and conform.

About the registration, it is a bug and will be fixed asap.

I'm absolutelly happy that I had an opportunity to support @machnbirdsparo and help you guys get some new users onboard. Reality is that most people seem not to be eager to sign up to new platforms. Especially if they never heard about them in the past.

Myself I've heard number of times about PALnet, Steampeak and some others before I decided to give any of it a try. I can only hope that you will manage to create more hype on Steemit, so people would get to remember your "brand". That would surely increase trust and curiousity = new users signing up.

Thank you for the support and also for the pointers. Coming from a background that allowed me experience the streets first hand made me appreciate everything good and I do my best to add value where I can.

Sprtshub is still at her early stage (even if we have been operational for over a year now), but we believe in the value proposition that comes with it.
Introducing something new in a field that isn't playing fairly when it comes to quality can be hard, but we are here for the long haul.

We are open to exploring what works and what makes sense in some way. We believe, categorization is key and when handled properly, we will be able to help many find their voice.

Sports are definetly the draw.

Like fitness and health, music is something that is often on the heart of active people. We also enjoy the outdoors. This dynamic also makes us closet artists.

Consider basketball sneakers, iconic personalities, the Williams sisters, John McEnroe, the "civilized" Charles Barkley, Chris "Birdman" Andersen and Dennis Rodman. These are examples of outgoing artist-athletes. Many more use art as a meditation. Also, an increasing number of athletes are turning to music production.

Hopefully, SprtsHub can succeed in using the word sport to get us all to realize just how much we are missing our creative side.

My impression is, that the hardest part of attracting attention on STEEMIT is the fact, that our audience have very little chance to actually find our publications. Lack of solid notification system is an obvious issue. And regardless how hard I would try - there is very little chance I would find out about your new interesting publications (my feed is just flooded with to many posts).

Please allow me to share some suggestion with you. If you would ever publish content related to blockchain, crypto, artificial intelligence, psychology etc. then perhaps you could simply send me memo with link to that post.

This way not only I would have a chance to read your publication, but I will also upvote it right away with 20k SP voting power. If I would consider it interesting then I may also share it with wider audience.

Please let me know what do you think.

What's interesting, is the main reason I saw your memo is that it was larger than the typical one-line junk memos I usually ignore. You might be innundated with memos with your suggestion. Maybe joining a curation trail would be a good way to support other Steemians. Yes, I am on PALNet.

Thanks @crypto.piotr for directing me to this. This will surely encourage all sports and fitness enthusiasts out there and gamers as well. I see a lot of posts related to that especially when a certain game season comes. Hopefully this will encourage non-sport fans or gamers out there.

I fully understand. However I tried already "sending memos" vs "tagging people". Not only response rate with sending memos seem to be higher but also mentioning people did cause some frustration and I decided to stop doing it.

I think that is a very nice project and I hope it goes well. That system is very similar to Minds.com in how they reward content producers, and I think that is quite a nice way to do it.

I am here due to the wallet transfer by @crypto.piotr. I know absolutely nothing about organized sports of any kind. The only thing I do is swim for pleasure. I have not ever seen a game on tv and just went to a couple of them in person when people gave me free tickets. But I know this is big business for some and I wish you a lot of luck with your efforts.

Make a sport out of dieting or playing chess, school adventures and sport, how boring sport is if you do not like it...

Some people are crazy for sports. I think it can do well if they execute properly and get the fans. If you ever meet a person insane for a sport or team, you will see what I mean. I just never stayed anywhere long enough to care or pay attention.

You should receive verification email within a seconds. The only problem I encountered is the fact that first time I tried to signed up I didn't receive any email (I checked spam as well).

I re-did it again few minutes later and email was in my emailbox within seconds.

I saw many post with interesting publication sport, fitness, photography ... hopefully I can write a very different topic about Meditation or motivation...!!

And can see in future how it could works for community on @SprtsHub.io

The best part is that this project is working as a decentralized blockchain.

Second I’m not sure if posting in the platform helps to mining to the project as well or just for the owner of the content..

Finally... I’m sure I can create something next week to test the platform.

Hi @wakeupkitty, you won't be banned for posting something else, but you will not be earning as much as you should when you post articles that fall under Sports and the other categories that are allowed.

There are interesting communities that do contests that may help you find your place there. Phototalent and Walk and Win are some of such you can join in and have fun.

I think I heard about this project in the Stach discord group a while ago. Although then it was a sport token or something. I'm a football enthusiast and will definitely sign up for this program.

I have created my account. But I wonder... why not just do a front end to STEEM blockchain? Mostly everything I saw looks like the same. And yes, I understand that some things, on back-end might be wished differently in order to fulfill whatever the businesses objectives Sprtshub.io like. But hey, you could still map everyone... (to the same ID) and at least you would get a lot more customers, even if some would be bad ones.

I don't know yet (because I have done only a diagonal on the code) the consequences of what is being done there, but it looks like if they keep the momentum... and the media keeps pressing things up, that this might turn up a great idea. Not because of the technology... which from my "slight" look, looks like inspired (if not marginally copy pasted) on Ethereum.

Why should you come to STEEM?

I loved the UI... reminds me busy.org but more concise... is it inspired on them?

Anyway... over the time I have developed this artful way of comparing everything to everything I already know. Sometimes that kind of blinds me... and I need some time to re-iterate to see the big picture. So, please remind me of that if I failed to do it here.

Busy followed Steemit. SprtsHub will branch and become something different from Steemit. It has its own token that functions as a reward system for blogging but can one day reward gaming. Hope you give us a chance and post an intro.

Will do some tests... I am sure of it. Maybe I can discuss there the reasons of why and how I see it as there is already all the population there in some form accepted the platform. Not being negative here... but I can't possibly adopt everything in the world, right?

When all this started, it was easy... actually not really but possible at least. Now, it's simply impossible to try everything even... and for me, the best fun on all of this is the "trying" component and then "learning" with it.

Anyway... chances are that you adapt the platform and things become way too interesting for me not to adopt it. 😂

It is very interesting to see people doing specialized social media. I am not into sports but following authors on such platforms grants you great insights into sports events sometimes more accurate than just the normal newspaper.

I found this to be an incredible app! Really. Functioned seamlessly even though I did not use on a phone (through Bluestacks). The conversion rate is awesome for a starting point. Enough incentives for one to keep coming back for more. I must say I would enjoy this even more with a phone or a desktop version (I generally prefer desktop over Bluestacks, but again, as good as any on the interface). Can't wait to see how it develops!

It seems like your new platform is an interesting one. Considering the fact that I am about to engage doing a lot of out door activities, this seems to be a great way to engage with other types of audiences.
