La Importancia de Obtener Meritos para comprar Gladius [ES/EN]

Esta semana he estado más activo en Splinterlands jugando en el modo Modern para acostumbrarme a las nuevas cartas Rebellion. Mis batallas han estado reñidas el día de hoy, aunque algunos han estado rindiéndose, creo que ya voy tomando el camino ganador. Con respecto a mi gremio, me he sentido un poco mal por no poder asistir a las diferentes Brawls semanales, y lo que es peor, la veces que me inscribí, no pude colocar mis batallas a tiempo, esto es fatal ya que el puntaje de mi gremio baja bastante, no porque me crea un campeón, sino porque todas las batallas donde no asisto quedan como que me rendí y todas son pérdidas. Voy a practicar un poco más para inscribirme la siguiente semana en las nuevas Brawls y dar mi aporte al gremio.

Lo más interesante de asistir a los Brawls y pelear, es que podemos ganar Méritos, el cual es un token que podemos usar para comprar cartas Gladius, ya les he hablado sobre esto en otras oportunidades. Actualmente tengo 4056 Méritos que estaré usando ahora para comprar dos pack de cartas Gladius, espero puedan darme suerte.

This week I have been more active in Splinterlands playing in Modern mode to get used to the new Rebellion cards. My battles have been close today, although some people have been giving up, I think I'm already taking the winning path. Regarding my guild, I've been feeling a little bad for not being able to attend the different weekly Brawls, and what's worse, the times I signed up, I couldn't place my battles on time, this is fatal because my guild's score drops a lot, not because I think I'm a champion, but because all the battles where I don't attend are like I gave up and all of them are losses. I'm going to practice a little more to enroll next week in the new Brawls and give my contribution to the guild.

The most interesting thing about attending the Brawls and fighting, is that we can earn Merits, which is a token that we can use to buy Gladius cards, I have already talked about this in other opportunities. I currently have 4056 Merits that I will be using now to buy two packs of Gladius cards, I hope you can give me luck.

En el primer pack obtuve tres cartas raras, sin embargo suelo usar tres de esta apertura, KATRELBA GOBSON dele elemento tierra con su habilidad de doble ataque ninja, AJAX LIGHTFOOT del elemento vida por su gran velocidad y su ataque a distancia de dos puntos, RELENOR CLEAVER del elemento agua con sus 4 puntos de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo y la posibilidad de atacar en segunda posición, ésta es una buena carta de soporte al tanque.

In the first pack I got three rare cards, however I usually use three of this opening, KATRELBA GOBSON from the earth element with her double ninja attack ability, AJAX LIGHTFOOT from the life element for her great speed and her two point ranged attack, RELENOR CLEAVER from the water element with her 4 melee attack points and the possibility to attack in second position, this is a good tank support card.

En el segundo pack solo obtuve dos cartas raras, de las cuales puedo aprovechar las mencionadas anteriormente KATRELBA GOBSON, RELENOR CLEAVER y CHIMNEY WALLSTOP del elemento fuego con sus 5 puntos de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, la posibilidad de atacar en segunda posición, buen escudo y vida, es una carta que utilizo bastante como soporte al tanque. Por cierto la carta KATRELBA GOBSON ya la tengo en nivel dos y espero muy pronto llevarla a nivel tres, ya me faltan pocas cartas para poder fusionarlas.

Mi carta Gladius preferida hasta ahora es la poderosa QUORA TOWERSHEAD del elemento tierra, pero de ella solo tengo una, no he podido conseguir más para subirle el nivel y deben saber que este tipo de cartas no se pueden comprar en el market porque están ligadas al jugador, por lo cual la única manera de obtenerlas es entrando en batallas Brawls de nuestro clan, es por esto que es importante que sean parte de uno.

My favorite Gladius card so far is the powerful QUORA TOWERSHEAD of the earth element, but I only have one of it, I have not been able to get more to level it up and you should know that this type of cards can not be purchased in the market because they are linked to the player, so the only way to get them is entering in Brawls battles of our clan, which is why it is important that they are part of one.

Les comparto una batalla donde utilizo esta poderosa carta, con apenas un gasto de mana de 27 puntos y la regla de batalla Mellee Mayhem que permite que las cartas cuerpo a cuerpo puedan atacar desde cualquier posición.

Elegí el invocador de tierra LOBB LOWLAND para poder utilizar cartas Gladius en mi batalla, en primera posición la carta Rebellion ENDLESS APE que además de ser hermosa, es un tanque con buena vida que se alimenta de los caídos, cada vez que una carta muere él aumenta su salud. En segunda posición coloqué mi favorita QUORA TOWERSHEAD y en última posición SCAVO HIRELING para reparar el escudo de mi tanque.

I chose the LOBB LOWLAND land summoner to be able to use Gladius cards in my battle, in first position the card Rebellion ENDLESS APE that besides being beautiful, is a tank with good life that feeds on the fallen, every time a card dies he increases his health. In second position I placed my favorite QUORA TOWERSHEAD and in last position SCAVO HIRELING to repair the shield of my tank.

Mi oponente eligió un invocador del elemento dragón con una estrategia basada en ataque a distancia y cartas con la habilidad de espinas para proporcionar daño de vuelta cada vez que le de un golpe cuerpo a cuerpo. Fue una muy buena elección pero el hecho de contar con ataque mágico cambia un poco las cosas.

La batalla inició con un golpe de mi poderosa QUORA TOWERSHEAD eliminando a la carta enemiga en primera posición, la cual era una carnada, pero ya saben que las cartas Gladius aumentan su poder de ataque y salud cada vez que vencen a un enemigo, así que mi hermosa dama se hizo más fuerte. La carta que tomó su lugar es una carta mártir de ataque a distancia que no puede atacar en primera posición, sin embargo al morir estaría aumentando el poder de ataque a la siguiente que es una carta excelente, hablo de DJINN CHWALA que tiene la habilidad de espinas y es una buena carta tanque.

Mi tanque recibió daño, pero en el segundo asalto su escudo fue reparado lo cual le da algo más de aliento para la batalla. QUORA TOWERSHEAD eliminó la carta mártir y DJINN CHWALA entró en primera posición con fuerza. En este punto cada ataque cuerpo a cuerpo hacia el enemigo sería devuelto.

My opponent chose a dragon element summoner with a strategy based on ranged attack and cards with the thorns ability to provide damage back every time I hit him melee. It was a very good choice but having magic attack changes things a bit.

The battle started with a hit from my mighty QUORA TOWERSHEAD eliminating the enemy card in first position, which was a bait, but you know that Gladius cards increase their attack power and health every time they beat an enemy, so my beautiful lady got stronger. The card that took her place is a ranged attack martyr card that can't attack in first position, however by dying it would be increasing the attack power to the next one which is an excellent card, I'm talking about DJINN CHWALA which has the thorns ability and is a good tank card.

My tank took damage, but in the second round his shield was repaired which gives him some more breath for the battle. QUORA TOWERSHEAD removed the martyr card and DJINN CHWALA came in first position strongly. At this point every melee attack towards the enemy would be returned.

En el tercer asalto el escudo de mi tanque fue reparado nuevamente, aunque su salud ya estaba desgastada, mi esperanza estaba puesta en mi bella dama. Luego de varios golpes de parte y parte mi tanque ENDLESS APE fue eliminado y QUORA TOWERSHEAD asumió la primera posición como tanque, su ataque hacia DJINN CHWALA fue fulminante y de ese modo aumentó su poder de ataque a 5 de daño cuerpo a cuerpo y 5 de daño mágico.

En el cuarto asalto QUORA TOWERSHEAD se enfrentó contra una carta a distancia sin posibilidad de atacar en primera posición la cual eliminó con ataque mágico. En este punto solo quedaba en pie la carta enemiga CURSED WINDEKU que también cuenta con la habilidad de espinas, pero el poder de QUORA TOWERSHEAD ya estaba muy elevado. La batalla terminó iniciando el sexto asalto consiguiendo la victoria.

In the third round the shield of my tank was repaired again, although his health was already worn out, my hope was placed on my beautiful lady. After several blows from part and part my tank ENDLESS APE was eliminated and QUORA TOWERSHEAD took the first position as tank, his attack towards DJINN CHWALA was withering and thus increased his attack power to 5 melee damage and 5 magic damage.

In the fourth round QUORA TOWERSHEAD faced a ranged card with no possibility of attacking in first position which he eliminated with magic attack. At this point only the enemy card CURSED WINDEKU, which also has the ability of thorns, was left standing, but the power of QUORA TOWERSHEAD was already very high. The battle ended at the beginning of the sixth round and the victory was achieved.

Como pueden notar, todas las cartas Gladius tienen la habilidad Bloodlust, esta habilidad permite aumentar sus estadísticas cada vez que vencen una carta enemiga, yo le llamo el golpe de gracia. Es por eso que son tan buenas y es por eso que es importante conseguir Méritos participando en cada Brawl.

As you can notice, all Gladius cards have the Bloodlust ability, this ability allows you to increase your stats every time you beat an enemy card, I call it the coup de grace. That's why they are so good and that's why it's important to get Merits by participating in every Brawl.
