Actifit and Splinterlands, A Winning Combination - July 29 2021

I finally finished painting my office today and after I finished cleaning up, I decided to spend a little time walking on the treadmill and playing Splinterlands. In case you've been asleep for the last few days, everyone is very excited about #play2earn now that Splinterlands has show them how to do it right.

Here is one of my favorite matches I played while walking.

It started fairly evenly matched. But my teams additional magic users ended up bring home the victory for me. Here's a link to the complete match if you want to watch it all play out.

In the end I would say the Phantom Of The Abyss was the monster who made the difference between victory and defeat for my team. His speed and Demoralize ability gave me the advantage I needed over my opponent.

Thanks @elizabethbit. Has the weather improved where you are in the last couple weeks? I keep reading about raging wild fires out west. I hope they aren't in your area. Stay safe, happy and healthy!

Hi @gregory-f! Up until today, we have been very warm and dry. Not a good combination in the cedar and pine forests for sure! However, thus far, we have not had any fires on the west side of Cascades in our area. Today dawned very cloudy, and there was this moisture on the windshield of the car! Unfortunately, it was just a sprinkle; not nearly enough and not long enough. It lasted all of maybe 5 minutes, lol! The forecast is for rain towards the end of this coming week, but because of the ocean influence, that really doesn't mean anything until we get there.
