Splintertalk.io Introduction & Delwyn Dragonscale Giveaway Winner Announcement

Another new interface has been introduced. Splintertalk is the new Steemmonters community platform that gives you a chance to earn SPT tokens on top of Steem.

Splintertalk

The token-craze on the Steem platform has really started. After Steemcoinpan and Palnet, a third new community site has been launched. Splintertalk.io is the new interface for Steemmonsters posts.

If you have something to share that is related to Steemmonsters, you can post directly through Splintertalk.io, or simply add the #spt tag to your post. Your post will then appear on the Splintertalk website and your SteemIt blog.

Splintertalk allows you to earn the new SPT token on top of your Steem earnings.

While your Steem/SBD payout will be paid out like usual, the SPT tokens you earn are sent to your Steem-Engine account. There you can stake them. Staking SPT is just like powering up; The more SPT you have staked, the bigger your voting value on Splintertalk will be.

And - just like on Palnet - it can be worth it to curate posts, since 50% of the post goes to the author and 50% goes to the curators.

IMPORTANT: keep an eye on your voting power! For every vote you cast on Splintertalk, the same vote will be cast on SteemIt.

(Your Palnet or Splintertalk voting power will not deplete if you cast your vote from another interface, like SteemIt. Read this post by @zaku to find out how to check your Splintertalk and Palnet voting power.)

Another Layer

With the launch of Splintertalk, yet another layer has been added to the Steem experience. And I assume this will not be the last interface we'll see popping up.

The token-craze is going full speed ahead and it's all happening very fast - too fast, if you ask me. It's a whole lot to process, and I must admit I'm overwhelmed by all these sudden additions and I feel lost already.

Delwyn Dragonscale Giveaway

A little more than a week ago, I published the Delwyn Dragonscale Giveaway

All you had to do to win this dragon summoner card was leave a comment in which you tagged another Steemmonsters player.

Apparently, the card was pretty in-demand, because the giveaway got quite a lot of entries.

Giveaway Winner

Thanks to @zaku I discovered a new tool that makes picking a random winner from the comments section a breeze. The Steem Random Winner Picker was created by @reazuliqbal and it is the more advanced version of the old Steem Comment Picker.

All I needed to do was enter the URL to the giveaway post into a field, set the parameters and click a button. The system then picks a random comment.

Quick, easy and fair - all qualities I was looking for in a tool to pick the winner of the Delwyn Dragonscale card.
