Pelacor Descent 4 of 4 - The pelacor grew to be highly intelligent and creative beings. They could imagine incredible things, and many of them were not satisfied with their soldierly lives on Solaki. From their home in the sky, they can also plainly see the disturbance in the rift in the stars. Because of their upbringing and education in Angel traditions, the pelacor are fully aware of the implications of the rift’s opening. Feeling an overwhelming need to defend the Planet of their ancestors, a large group of pelacor organized an escape from military service. Nearly a thousand pelacor stole army grade plumton ventilators and left for the ground. Most of them didn’t make it.

The pelacor who made it to the surface are scattered throughout the Splinterlands. None of them know exactly how many of their brothers survived. The winged men have been happily welcomed by the people of the Splinterlands. Humans and goblins, having never known the power of flight, tend to see them as a daydream come to life. The pelacor defectors have fallen into different situations and Splinters, but they are all here to aid in the coming fight against the Chaos Legion.

One day the greater pelacor forces from above will launch their takeover of the surface. The defectors hoped that their loss would be detrimental to the armies, but they were wrong. If and when the attack comes, the Splinterlands pelacor will have to face off against their brethren.

About the card

If not the best Reward card, it hits in the post (football/soccer expression). It’s certainly one of the best tanks you can use, when playing with the Life Splinter, and one of it’s strong points is that it only cost two Mana points to summon. This has led to the design of many small Mana teams, by many users, with this card as a tank, that you can use in any League, since this card is useful even from level 1.

Although this card is already useful from level 1, I strongly recommend that you rent/buy a Summoner that let’s you use it from level 3 or higher, since it increases it’s speed and health by one point.

A milestone for this card is reaching level 4. At level 4 the card is able to return the damage suffered from Magic attacks and at level 10 is able to evade them, so is a very good idea to max out this card.

As a level 3 Gold Foil card from the Chaos Legion Edition, this Monster increases your C.P. by 125 points. also, if you win a ranked fight with this card, your earnings will increase by 10%.

Let’s see some battles with a maxed Pelacor

Battle #1

This battle is quite good to learn: I lost, despite of my Pelacor, but my opponent also had one, as a tank, that survived and dodged a lot of hits. As you can observe, both of us make an effort to strengthen our Pelacor’s traits; debuff speed, blind, amplify, etc.

Something quite interesting that we learn in this fight, is how to take down this card. Check out the Grenadier in my opponent’s lineup; that card is able to nullify the Pelacor’s Flying ability and also inflicts double damage to it, since the Pelacor doesn’t have an attack.

Battle #2

I always have a similar approach when using this card, as you can see here. This battles have the Enrage ability as a rule, so evasive cards, like the ones in the Water Splinter, or this Pelacor, work great. Something that I recommend when using this card is protecting it as much as possible, and one great effect that helps with it is Cleanse, since it can remove Poison, Affliction, Snare or other negative status effects. And of course, the usual healing and speed boosts.

Pelacor Descent 4 de 4 - Los pelacor se convirtieron en seres muy inteligentes y creativos. Podían imaginar cosas increíbles, y muchos de ellos no estaban satisfechos con su vida militar en Solaki. Desde su hogar en el cielo, también pueden ver claramente la perturbación en la grieta de las estrellas. Debido a su crianza y educación en las tradiciones de los ángeles, los pelacor son plenamente conscientes de las implicaciones de la apertura de la grieta. Sintiendo una imperiosa necesidad de defender el Planeta de sus ancestros, un nutrido grupo de pelacor organiza una huida del servicio militar. Casi mil pelacor robaron ventiladores plumton de grado militar y se fueron al suelo. La mayoría de ellos no lo lograron.

Los pelacor que llegaron a la superficie están dispersos por Splinterlands. Ninguno de ellos sabe exactamente cuántos de sus hermanos sobrevivieron. Los hombres alados han sido felizmente recibidos por la gente de Splinterlands. Los humanos y los goblins, que nunca han conocido el poder de volar, tienden a verlos como un sueño hecho realidad. Los desertores pelacor han caído en diferentes situaciones y Splinters, pero todos están aquí para ayudar en la próxima lucha contra la Legión del Caos.

Un día, las mayores fuerzas pelacor desde arriba lanzarán su toma de posesión de la superficie. Los desertores esperaban que su pérdida fuera perjudicial para los ejércitos, pero estaban equivocados. Cuando llegue el ataque, los pelacor de Splinterlands tendrán que enfrentarse a sus hermanos.

Sobre la carta

Si no es la mejor carta de Recompensa, pega en el palo. Sin duda, es uno de los mejores tanques que puedes usar cuando juegas con el Splinter de Vida, y uno de sus puntos fuertes es que solo cuesta dos puntos de maná para invocarlo. Esto ha llevado al diseño de muchos equipos pequeños de Mana, por parte de muchos usuarios, con esta carta como tanque, que puedes usar en cualquier Liga, ya que esta carta es útil incluso desde el nivel 1.

Aunque esta carta ya es útil desde el nivel 1, te recomiendo mucho que alquiles/compres un Summoner que te permita usarla desde el nivel 3 o superior, ya que aumenta su velocidad y salud en un punto. Un hito para esta carta es alcanzar el nivel 4. En el nivel 4, la carta puede devolver el daño sufrido por los ataques mágicos y en el nivel 10 puede evadirlos, por lo que es una muy buena idea maximizar esta carta.

Como carta Gold Foil de nivel 3 de la Chaos Legion Edition, este Monstruo aumenta tu C.P. por 125 puntos. Además, si ganas una Ranked battle con esta carta, tus ganancias aumentarán un 10%.
Veamos algunas batallas con un Pelacor al máximo

Batalla #1

Esta batalla es bastante buena para aprender: perdí, a pesar de mi Pelacor, pero mi oponente también tenía uno, como un tanque, que sobrevivió y esquivó muchos golpes. Como pueden observar, los dos nos esforzamos en potenciar las características de nuestro Pelacor; debilitar velocidad, cegar, amplificar, etc.

Algo bastante interesante que aprendemos en esta pelea es cómo derribar esta carta. Echa un vistazo al Grenadier en la alineación de mi oponente; esa carta es capaz de anular la habilidad Volar del Pelacor y también le inflige el doble de daño, ya que el Pelacor no tiene ataque.

Batalla #2

Siempre tengo un enfoque similar cuando uso esta tarjeta, como puede ver aquí. Estas batallas tienen la habilidad Enrage como regla, por lo que las cartas evasivas, como las del Water Splinter, o este Pelacor, funcionan muy bien. Algo que recomiendo al usar esta carta es protegerla lo más posible, y un gran efecto que ayuda es Cleanse, ya que puede eliminar Veneno, Aflicción, Snare u otros efectos de estado negativos. Y, por supuesto, los aumentos habituales de curación y velocidad.
