🏹 Target practice
This rule gives all ranged and magical units the sniper ability, therefore your targets will be those units with magic attacks, range or that simply have no attack.
Esta regla le confiere a todas las unidades rango y mágicas la habilidad sniper, por tanto sus objetivos serán aquellas unidades con ataques mágicos, rango o que simplemente no tengan ataque.

When I face these types of battles I consider 3 ways to approach them. I will start with the simplest and that is to put together an exclusively mele lineup preferably composed of either cards with opportunistic or sneak abilities. The key here is to place a competent tank that can sustain magic damage and range, since all attacks will go to the first position.
Cuando enfrento este tipo de batallas considero 3 formas de abordarlas comenzaré con la más sencilla y es armar una alineación exclusivamente mele preferencialmente compuesta ya sea por cartas con habilidades oportunistas o sneak. Aquí la clave es colocar un tanque competente que pueda aguantar el daño mágico y rango, ya que todos los ataques irán a la primera posición.
🌌 2nd way: deflect attacks/2da forma: desviar los ataques
This strategy consists of using a unit with the Taunt ability supported by another that has the triage ability in this way while the opponent consumes turns trying to eliminate the card with taunt, we take advantage of breaking their secondary row. Of course I recommend this form of play in games where the mana limit is large.
Esta estrategia consiste en usar una unidad con la habilidad Taunt apoyada con otra que tenga la habilidad triage de esta manera mientras el oponente consume turnos tratando de eliminar la carta con taunt, nosotros aprovechamos de romper su fila secundaria. Por supuesto esta forma de juego la recomiendo en partidas donde el límite de mana es amplio.
🛡️ 3rd way: Benefit from the attack/3ra forma: Beneficiarse del ataque.
This third way consists of strategically placing cards in the second position to take advantage of the fact that range and magic attacks will go in that direction. My favorite strategy is to place cards with magic reflect/return fire combined with the amplify ability, although lately I have also tried placing cards with the martyr ability to boost the stats of cards in first and third position.
Esta tercera forma consiste en ubicar cartas de manera estrategica en la segunda posición para aprovechar que los ataques rango y mágico irán en esa dirección. Mi estrategia favorita es ubicar cartas con magic reflect/return fire combinado con la habilidad amplify, aunque últimamente también he probado colocar cartas con la habilidad martyr para potenciar las estadísticas de las cartas en la primera y tercera posición.
Of these 3 ways that I just explained, the one I want to explain in this post is the third, based on a defensive/offensive alignment taking advantage of counterattack skills enhanced with the amplify skill as a way to deal with games that have a low mana limit, so without further delay let's get started!

🎏⚔️Rules battle/Reglas de batalla
This battle is really a challenge, not only does it have a fairly tight mana limit (26), but it also only allows us to choose 2 classes: dragon and ground. Since the ground class has a wide variety of units with speed of 1, it will be the option we will take to face this battle. Let's now look at the rulesets:
Esta batalla es realmente un desafío, no solo tiene un limite de mana bastante ajustado (26), sino que además sólo nos permite escoger 2 clases: dragón y tierra. 🎴Cards/Cartas
🧙♂️Summoner/Invocador: Obsidian
Obsidian will be our summoner this time, the earth class has a wide variety of units with speed 1 and 2 so they would be the first to attack. The large number of low-mana units with magic attack stands out, for that reason we will boost the magic damage of our units by +1.
Obsidian será nuestro invocador en esta ocasión, la clase tierra tiene una gran variedad de unidades con velocidad de 1 y 2 por lo que serían los primeros en atacar. Destaca la gran cantidad de unidades de bajo mana con ataque mágico, por esa razón potenciaremos el daño mágico de nuestras unidades en +1.
👾 Monsters/Monstruos: Onyx sentinel
Given the possibility that it is a tank like Quora that we are going to face, the best defensive option is Onyx Sentinel, his void ability allows him to resist magical attacks and his ability to shield physical and ranged attacks. Due to its low mana cost, it is the best option to place in the first position.
Ante la posibilidad de que sea un tanque como quora al que nos vayamos a enfrentar, la mejor opción defensiva es Onyx sentinel su habilidad vacío le permite resistir los ataque mágicos y su habilidad shield los ataques físicos y de rango. Por su bajo coste de mana es la mejor opción para ubicar en la primera posición.
👾 Failed summoner
The second position is the key in the context of this ruleset, as all range and magic attacks will be directed at the first card without any type of attack or with range and magic attacks, we will place here a unit with counterattack capacity in this case Failed Sumoner is the best candidate since we expect most enemy attacks to be magical.
La segunda posición es la clave en el contexto de esta ruleset, como todos los ataques rango y mágico irán dirigidos a la primera carta sin ninguntipo de ataque o con ataques de rango y magia, ubicaremos aquí una unidad con capacidad de contrataque en este caso Failed sumoner es el mejor candidato ya que esperamos que la mayoría de los ataques enemigos sean mágicos.
👾 Goblin psychic
The Healing Goblin will not only serve as support for our tank but will also have an offensive role, dealing up to 3 magic damage, preventing the opponent's ability to heal and reducing their magic damage with the silence ability. Finally, its speed of 1 makes this card have a key role in this lineup.
El Goblin sanador no solo servirá de apoyo para nuestro tanque sino que también tendrá una participación ofensiva haciendo hasta 3 de daño mágico, impidiendo la capacidad de sanar del oponente y reduciendo su daño mágico con la habilidad silence. Por último su velocidad de 1 hacen que esta carta tenga un papel clave en esta alineación.
👾 Queen mycelia
Since our opponent will most likely use magic attack units, we will enhance the magic damage we return with magic reflect using the amplify ability. For that reason we will place Queen mycelia in 4th position. Additionally, from this position we can support the Failed summoner with the triage ability. Lastly, this card gives the entire team +2 defense points.
En vista que lo más probable que nuestro oponente utilizará unidades de ataques mágicos potenciaremos el daño mágico que devolvamos con el magic reflect usando la habilidad amplify. Por esa razón ubicaremos a Queen mycelia en la 4ta posición. Además desde esta posición podremos darle apoyo al Failed summoner con la habilidad triage por último esta carta le confiere a todo el equipo +2 puntos de defensa.
👾 Khmer princess
Khmer princess is another support card, its low mana cost and its tank heal ability make it a strategic piece, the only weakness of this card is its low amount of life so it is best to protect it by placing it in the 5th position.

👾 Dr. Blight
As the first promo card of the Chaos Legion edition, Dr. Blight literally covers every blind spot your lineup may have. Its speed is convenient for us since it will be one of the first cards to attack, it is invisible so you can place it in the last position, it can poison enemy units and finally it has a chance of preventing the target from being healed with its affliction ability .
Como la primera carta promocional de la edición Chaos Legion el Dr. Blight literalmente cubre todos los puntos ciegos que pueda tener tu alineación. Su velocidad es conveniente para nosotros ya que será de las primeras cartas en atacar, es invisible por lo que puedes ubicarlo en la última posición, puede envenenar a las unidades enemigas y por último tiene probabilidad de evitar que el objetivo sea sanado con su habilidad aflicción.
⚔️Strategy and battle lineup/Estrategia y alineación de batalla
When we see the enemy lineup and their disposition we realize that I expected our vanguard to be made up of an offensive tank and in this way enhance its Quora statistics by X2, which is also at level 4 so it will be immune to our afflictions so victory In this battle it will largely depend on the damage we do and if we are the first to attack.
Cuando vemos la alineación enemiga y su disposición nos damos cuenta que esperaba que nuestra vanguardia estuviera conformada por un tanque ofensivo y de esta manera potenciarle X2 las estadísticas de Quora que además esta en nivel 4 por lo que será inmune a nuestras aflicciones así que la victoria en esta batalla dependerá en gran medida del daño que hagamos y si somos los primeros en atacar.

💥Round 1💥
We started the first round quite lucky because we were not poisoned or afflicted by the enemy Dr. Blight so our Failed sumoner can be healed with triage and continue for the next round. Now it is our turn to attack, managing to subtract 9 life points and although he healed 5 points we subtracted 3 with the magic reflect.
Empezamos el primer round con bastante suerte pues no fuimos envenenados ni afligidos por el Dr. Blight enemigo así que nuestro Failed sumoner podrá ser sanado con triage y continuar para el próximo round. Ahora es nuestro turno de atacar, logrando restarle 9 puntos de vida y aunque se sano 5 puntos le restamos 3 con el magic reflect.
💥Round 2💥
In the second round we managed to dispatch the threat of Dr. Blight with the Magic reflect and we were lucky again because he didn't poison us or afflict us. And now it's our turn, with an accurate attack from Dr. Blight we definitively dispatch Quora and completely break the enemy lineup.
En el segundo round logramos despachar la amenaza del Dr. Blight con el Magic reflect y volvimos a tener suerte pues no nos enveneno ni afligió. Y ahora es nuestro turno, con un certero ataque de Dr. Blight despachamos definitivamente a Quora y quebramos por completo la alineación enemiga.
💥Round 3 & 4💥
Finally in the 3rd round we eliminated the Halfling alchemist/Venari marksrat pair and by the 4th round our Goblin psychic dispatched the Mycelic morphoid to give us an almost flawless victory where we did not lose any units.
Finalmente en el 3er round eliminamos al par Halfling alchemist/Venari marksrat y ya para el 4to round nuestro Goblin psychic despacha al Mycelic morphoid para darnos un a victoria casi impecable donde no perdimos ninguna unidad.
🍀Conclusions/Conclusiones
Victory in this case was largely defined by damage power, if we had used another summoner like Immortalis we would have been short on damage and possibly would not have been able to stop Quora.
The placement of the cards also played a fundamental role, while our opponent expected us to place an offensive card in the first position, we placed an entirely defensive tank and the Failed summoner in the second position to return all the magic damage we received amplified.
We were also very lucky with the odds, our Failed sumoner never got poisoned and was able to be healed to continue the rest of the battle. If he had been poisoned and died at the hands of Quora it would have been impossible to stop her.
La victoria en este caso estuvo definida en buena parte por la potencia de daño, si hubieramos usado otro invocador como Immortalis nos habríamos quedado cortos de daño y posiblemente no habriamos podido detener a Quora.
La ubicación de las cartas también jugo un papel fundamental, mientras que nuestro oponente esperaba que colocáramos una carta ofensiva en la primera posición, nosotros colocamos un tanque enteramente defensivo y al Failed summoner en la segunda posición para devolver todo el daño mágico que recibamos amplificado.
También tuvimos mucha suerte con las probabilidades, nuestro Failed sumoner nunca se enveneno y pudo ser sanado para continuar el resto de la batalla. Si se hubiera envenenado y muerto a manos de Quora habría sido imposible detenerla.

Y eso fue todo en este Battle secrets mage amigos, esta fue una batalla con bastante mérito los combates en tier 4 de las Brawls son bastante difíciles se hace necesario estudiar bien las condiciones de batalla, las ventajas/desventajas si eres o no host de la arena en fin, un alto nivel competitivo así que espero que esta batalla les pueda servir de guía.
