Splinterlands Card Giveaway

The result of last week's giveaway was delayed a few days since I was on vacation. At long last, here it is along with this week's new giveaway.

Each week I host a giveaway for one of the original Reward Edition Splinterlands cards. Most of these cards have been out-of-print for almost two years, so new players can only get them in the market, and that can be pretty expensive. These giveaways are a way to help players build their deck for free.

Last week's prize was this Goblin Mech card.

This Week's Giveaway

For this week's Blast From The Past Giveaway, I'm giving away this Level 1 Highland Archer card.

The Highland Archer was one of the very first Reward Edition cards released almost 4 years ago. When first introduced, the supply of Highland Archers quickly exceeded the demand and the price plummeted to about a penny apiece. As a result many of these cards were burned for the 15 DEC they were worth. So many were burned that now a level 1 Highland Archer is worth a very respectable $0.34 on the Splinterlands market.

While this card is relatively weak by todays standards, the low Mana cost of only 3 Mana and versatility of a Neutral Splinter make it a very useful card.

If you are just starting out and haven't been able to add a Highland Archer card to your deck or just need another one to level yours up, then you should get in on this giveaway. This card will be sent to one lucky winner when this contest closes at post payout time. If this Highland Archer card doesn't fit in with your master plan for Splinterlands domination, or if you lack the skill and wisdom necessary to achieve victory with it, you can always rent it to someone else or try to sell it in the market.
