Brawl Report #75, A Hard Report to Write, Just Need to Much on Some Pizza…

I won’t lie, this is an extremely hard report to write, my motivation has been down, just not feeling it. Additionally, I did horrible this last brawl, and those are just hard to write because of that along. Anyway, comment below for a slice of Hive Pizza to be sent your way!

So, let’s start by looking at SPS which is currently trending at $0.023, it has dropped a lot, as has the whole crypto market! Speaking of buying things, as of this morning, all Chaos Legion packs have sold out! However, we do have Riftwatchers packs still available, with only 16,349 packs to go until the next airdrop!

I have been visiting Splinterlore to learn more about the lore of Splinterlands, here is a new soulbound reward card that I have been using, a lot, it is a really great combo card!

The Lore behind the Fungus Flinger by Splinterlands:
Venari marksrats spend more time in the forests than they do underground. Most of it is taken with hunting and foraging, with marksrats being the main food gatherers for the venari colonies that inhabit the upperdark caverns of the Realm of Silence. They are incredibly agile and have honed their hunting skills to perfection.

Their crude bows are fashioned out of branches and saplings. Don't be fooled by their unrefined look, though. These skilled archers can still hit a fleeing rabbit at a hundred yards with precision. They hunt alone or in packs, and if you ever manage to spot one, you can guarantee they saw you first and have been watching you for some time.

Garland took cover behind a large bush at the base of a tree. He pulled his green hooded cowl forward, shadowing his face, and slowly notched an arrow to the string of his bow. His companion, Dale, must have seen him take cover because he crawled over to join him.

“What ya see?” Dale asked, his voice the barest of whispers.

“Not sure, but it could've been a venari,” Garland replied, staring into the undergrowth.

Dale's face went pale. “A marksrat?”

“I dunno. It was just a shadow. It didn't see me though, so we're alright.”

“Didn't see you? If that's a marksrat, not only will it have seen you, I bet it's looking down its bow at us now. We need to get out of here and fast.” Dale started to crawl away, fear twisting his face.

“You worry too much. Nobody can hunt as well as me.” Garland adjusted his position slightly and peered around the tree for a better view.

There was a subtle twang and Garland’s body toppled to the forest floor behind Dale, a crude arrow protruding from his head.

On to the battle, the guild as a whole filled 14 out of 16 frays for this one, so close to a full boat on this one! This time around I am in something a little new for me Silver Chaos Legion only format fight with 7 fights that have my name on them.

Battle #1 (Link)
We begin this one on the road with 54 mana, opportunity, common and rare only, oh and reverse speed for the fun of it! I decided to go earth on this one, hoping that my double martyr strategy will work out. They went earth as well, just with a different lineup than myself. They had much slower speeds and just kicked me in the rear.

Battle #2 (Link)
Stayin on the road with this one looking at 50 mana, snipe, equalizer, and extra armor for the fun of it 😊 I decided to go earth on this one, with a lot of double attackers, just to see what will happen. They went fire on this one, taking away my extra armor. All of those double attacks worked in my favor!

Battle #3 (Link)
First one in the home arena looking at 13 mana, equalizer. I am going light on this one, hoping to do a lot of damage to the enemy. They went light as well, I had ranged damage and they have melee, they won, if I could of just had one miss I would have had it.

Battle #4 (Link)
The halfway fight, on the road with 36 mana, enrage, odds only and magic reflect. I decided to go fire on this one, hoping for that big damage. They went water with reach and extra hit points, I don’t think my damage is going to work on this one. That trample just kicked me while I am down.

Battle #5 (Link)
This time is back in the home arena looking at 27 mana, enrage, weak magic, and return fire. I am going earth with the double martyr system again, hopefully it will work. They went light, with two glads, this might hurt. Their captain katie just took off and took me out.

Battle #6 (Link)
The last one on the road for this brawl, dealing with 16 mana, fury and equalizer. I’m going light on this one with Marisol leading the way with some backup help from the Crystalsmith. They went earth, this could get interesting. However, it did not get interesting, dispel killed me this time around, I need to remember it takes off bloodlust now.

Battle #7 (Link)
Last fight, I really need a win this time around. 21 mana, little league, and melee can attack from anywhere, I went with fire, hoping that the melee damage will help me out. They went water on this one, a good amount of damage, this probably will not go well for me, and it did not go well for me.

When you start of 0 and 4, you really question as to if you want to play the game anymore. A little over 12 hours to go, the guild is sitting in 3rd place, that is at least positive.

I ended up 1 and 6, horrible, horrible, showing. The guild ended up in 5th place, so not a good one for us either.
