It's a beautiful thing. However, maybe they need to start posting an hourly recap rather than each individual transaction. If they're planning on scaling up to 70k a day, it truly could be nonstop transaction alerts.
Things are starting to heat up in Leoworld. People are starting to realize the potential of what is being built.
For a while now, I have threaded and talked about Perps on #leodex. I do not know when they will go live but they are in testing. This is a market where the denomination is now into the trillions (no longer billions) in total.
That is what Leo is tapping into. A small sliver of that daily activity would be huge.
It's incredible to see Monero $XMR being attacked and nothing being done about it. That's why a strong community and a social network that supports them are so important in the crypto world. Thank you HIVE.
Based on the 2016 performance I strongly doubt this new version is going to be a great movie, they probably have a better chance going straight to streaming,

I'm Back with small delegation to leo finance project @leo.voter
I'm not posting blog but aim to earn from delegation. Will try to delegate more in upcoming months.
I guess I don't understand the dying part? We don't want the price to go up for a while. We want LS to accumulate as much at these levels as possible. 10M would be ideal. If you're looking for quick returns, then you'll have the opportunity to sell some SURGE when it sells out and get 20-25%. Otherwise, LSTR should continue to appreciate, regardless of the LEO price, as the LPS continues to grow.
Ideally, LEO stays here for at least another couple months, maybe longer, and just buys and buys and buys cheap LEO. That's what I'll be doing as well.
You're in the right place, at the exact right time. I'm with you, it took 6+ years to get here, but we're here now and that's all that matters.
Shit (pardon my french) is about to get crazy! Bitcoin is going to run through the end of the year. ETH and SOL are going to get nuts. Others are going to have their rides as well. But NOBODY is going to show the gains that the Leosphere is going to show over the next 6 months. And very few, if any, are going to be able to sustain them into the onset of the next bear market. LEO will. It will definitely take a hit when the markets get bloody, but there will still be buying every single day. It will find a bottom and then it will start its relentless journey upwards again. We're just scratching the surface right now.
Oh I have no doubt. And even though it may seem like I'm whining, I'm not. I almost said it joking, 'wen moon' and all....
I just need a win. Just one. I don't wanna be rich, I just want to be able to take care of my family. And I do believe in my heart of hearts, $LEO will be that way.
LSTR accumulators like letzteorder are not stopping. Whoever understands the mechanism of lstr, they will gonna dive into the lstr market. And this is already starting to happen.

My inleo premium subscription expired. Started to think should I buy for 1 year for 100 #hbd and save some money here.. Thoughts? #LEO #LSTR #leostrategy #SURGE
I just hate dealing with it every month so....I bought the yearly. The fact that I saved 20 HBD didn't really enter the equation, but it was a nice bonus. Plus, 100 HBD now gets 500 HIVE to buy LEO with for the SIRP. Theoretically, your subscription will buy a lot more LEO now than it would if you bought it every month for the next year. I mean, hopefully by the time you bought your 12th month next August, it would only buy like 2 LEO (or less). 😁
What's up everyone? I just woke up from sleep and the has been raining since I woke up. The good thing is that heavy rainfall is not occurring and the rain made the environment cool which I like most.
I've been reading a lot of the posts about the flywheel we have going here. So are you guys saying that if I logged out and logged back in in 2035 I'd probably be rich?
SURGE is now over 50% sold and climbing. Another big buyer entered. Not sure if it's an alt of one of the top guys (Khal) or not. Khal is chairman of LS, but I'm not sure he'd use chairmanlee as an alt.
Selling requires a particular set of skills. Among them R these: communication, emotional intelligence, problem solving, persuasion, att'n 2 detail, client acquisition, & marketing. N E 1 who wants 2sell should always B seeking new clients.

About to head out on a golf excursion. I'll still be checking in, but I'm not gonna lie, I think I'm going to enjoy letting LS carry the ball for a while without me constantly watching. lol There's so much going on and so much coming (perps, sLEO, Base, marketmakers, SURGE sellout) that it gets a little nuts thinking about it. It will be nice to worry about whether I should hit a hard 7-iron or a smooth 6.
In the meantime, I'll try and get back around to do my voting and especially the lstr.vote.
Remember, if you own 10 LSTR, you should 100% be putting a VOTE on a thread every day! The benefits are significant. lstr.voter uses your LEO delegation to vote and then uses their curation rewards to buy LSTR and distribute it every day. The more they vote, the more LSTR they buy, the more LSTR drips we receive. It benefits us all to call the voter in.
If you can't find an original thread without a vote already on it, do it on a comment.

The Polish PM is obviously saying the truth and shows a strong believe in nurturing home grown professionals rather than depending on immigrants workers in growing a nation's economy.
The aspect of security is valid too. Terrorism in any nation usually starts with unknown foreigners that came into the country illegally.
However, the immigration debate is a reflection of our collective identity as a society and the kind of future we want to establish. The discussion is one that calls for compassion, insight, and openness to other points of view.
so there is no migrant workforce in poland sinc 2024? I don’t think so…
There is no exact current figure for the total number of doctors and engineers with a migration background in Poland, but data from 2019 indicated that the share of foreign-trained physicians was only 2.1%. More broadly, 999,800 foreigners were employed in Poland as of January 2024, with foreigners in the workforce making up 6.5% of the total workforce, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS).
Clinging to ego for "survival" diminishes one's magnetism and can lead to unattractiveness. While it may feel empowering to you, since you've convinced yourself of your strength, others see it as mere bravado, lacking genuine appeal.
Ego as a foundation for existence and identity differs from ego emerging from authentic self-expression, which truly draws others in. The former is illusory, while the latter is authentic.
The notion of "fake it till you make it" fails to impress others and primarily serves as an attempt to rewire oneself.
Efforts to rewire oneself that don't pursue a righteous destiny by refining, rather than denying, the self are often clearly noticeable. They tend to be unpolished, awkward, fragmented, and ultimately unattractive.

Sometimes it seems like there are issues with Base fees when interacting with the chain, but that is minor.. not a fan of the minimum $50 worth of a token, that seem to be the standard when swapping.
Other than that, it's a pretty good chain.
Not sure why Arbitrum hasn't reached same sort of adoption. Might be because of the swap issues that somehow keeps showing up 😅
I think just the fact that they are associated with coinbase gives Base more traction. And those coinbase folks are used to getting fees out the wazoo, so they don't know any better.

Windy days can be rough, but a walk and talk is always worth it. If your friend’s been in finance for 20 years, focus on the decentralization angle and transparency of crypto. Might click with his experience in traditional markets
That’s a strong angle to pitch. Highlighting the dividends and upside potential of SURGE, LEO, and LSTR could really resonate with someone from traditional finance. It bridges the gap between familiar concepts and crypto benefits

The Frustration with the PS5 Pro: A Gamer's Perspective on Rising Costs and Decreasing Quality
In a candid and raw video rant, a serious and frustrated gamer shares his experience with the PlayStation 5 Pro, expressing dissatisfaction with both its performance and design. His monologue offers a visceral critique of Sony’s latest console, highlighting what he perceives as neglect for consumer expectations, rising prices, and declining quality.
The gamer begins by admitting that his enthusiasm for the PS5 Pro has waned significantly since purchase. Initially, he was optimistic, noticing some performance improvements, especially with titles optimized for the console like The Last of Us series. However, the improvements appeared marginal, and the real issues soon began to surface as he spent more time with the hardware.
He emphasizes that while the PS5 Pro is technically more powerful than the baseline PS5, the enhancements aren't transformative enough to justify the steep cost. Instead, what he's experiencing now feels more like a deterioration — not just of performance, but of reliability.
Hardware Design Flaws and Heat Management Concerns
One of the core grievances is Sony’s design decision to relocate USB ports from the front to the back of the console. While this might seem minor, it has caused significant frustration for users relying on USB headsets and external drives.
Heat and Connectivity: The gamer criticizes the placement of USB ports at the back, arguing that it exposes important peripherals to increased heat and reduces accessibility. His experience is that USB ports at the back now make connecting devices like headsets more cumbersome, especially since the back heatsink emits substantial heat, which could potentially affect device performance and longevity.
Compatibility and Connectivity Issues: He details how his premium headsets, such as Astro A50 Lightseed, began cutting out or disconnecting entirely. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps—including using USB extenders, switching ports, and adjusting settings—the problems persisted. What should have been a seamless experience turned into constant disconnections, causing him to be unable to enjoy his gaming sessions comfortably.
The frustration isn't just about minor inconveniences; it’s about the console seemingly deteriorating in quality over time. His headset, initially reliable, now struggles to stay connected, a problem he attributes to poor hardware choices and design flaws by Sony. Despite his efforts to troubleshoot, the issues have become a point of no return, leading him to conclude that the console is fundamentally flawed.
He laments the fact that these hardware problems contradict the high price he paid for what was marketed as a “Pro” model, which one would expect to include top-tier components and durability.
Questioning Sony's Priorities: Price Hikes Versus Quality
The core message of his rant is a critique of Sony's pricing strategy. He notes that the PS5 Pro is significantly more expensive than the original PS5, yet the quality and hardware integrity do not seem to match the increased cost.
He points out that Sony has increased the baseline prices—by $100, $150, or even $200—without improving build quality or addressing fundamental hardware issues. This discrepancy feels unfair to consumers, especially to those who invested in what they believed was a premium product.
His sentiment echoes a feeling of being ripped off, asserting that Sony appears more focused on price increments rather than product enhancements.
The gamer openly states that he is done investing further in Sony's console ecosystem. The accumulating frustrations, coupled with hardware failures and poor design choices, have driven him to the decision to shift entirely to PC gaming.
He underscores that the flexibility and reliability of PC hardware, along with the ability to run everything wired if needed, surpass the convenience and performance of modern consoles. His experience with the PS5 Pro has been enough to make him swear off future console purchases, regardless of upcoming models like the rumored PS6 or Xbox 720.
The Cost of Innovation: Are Consumers Getting Sacrificed?
Throughout his rant, he highlights what he perceives as a disconnect between the price of these gaming devices and the quality Sony delivers. The promised “Pro” status is not reflected in real-world performance or durability, and this fuels his anger about how manufacturers prioritize profits over consumer satisfaction.
He also laments about the inconvenience of wired peripherals in the age of wireless technology. He despises returning to a wired setup, recalling how much cleaner and more streamlined recent gaming setups have become thanks to Bluetooth and wireless accessories.
In conclusion, the gamer warns potential buyers against investing in the PS5 Pro. Despite an initial period of satisfaction, he believes that the flaws will only become magnified over time, leaving consumers frustrated and disappointed.
He ends his message with a profound declaration: he will never purchase another Sony console again. His definitive stance is that the combination of high costs, hardware issues, and Sony’s apparent prioritization of profit over quality has irreparably damaged his trust.
This passionate review echoes a broader concern within the gaming community: the increasing trend of escalating console prices without corresponding improvements in hardware quality or reliability. Consumers are feeling the pinch, especially when hardware failures and design choices—like USB port placement—impact the user experience.
As gamers look forward to next-generation consoles, this frustration underscores the importance of manufacturers listening closely to their community and ensuring that higher prices are matched with better engineering, durability, and user-centric design.
In summary, the harsh critique presented reveals a growing disillusionment with the PS5 Pro, highlighting the tangible issues of hardware deterioration, design flaws, and perceived profiteering. For now, at least this gamer is shifting his focus away from consoles, seeking solace in the more customizable and reliable world of PC gaming.
Totally agree with choosing your life over settling. Every day is a chance to invest in your future—whether it's time, money, or effort. Been stacking small wins for a decade now, and it’s all about consistency over perfection
Absolutely, those small steps compound over time. I’ve seen it in my own journey—consistent investments, even tiny ones, build serious momentum after a decade. Patience pays off every time
That's a fair concern. If meme communities fade, the tokens often lose hype and value pretty fast. Solana's ecosystem might still churn out new ones, but it’s a risky space for sure.
Yeah, capitalism tends to fragment markets like that. It’s all about grabbing attention for the next big thing, even in meme coins. Solana’s ecosystem might just keep splitting focus with new tokens.

Healthy 5-Day Meal Prep: Delicious Recipes for Weight Loss and Nutrition
Introduction: Exciting Meal Prep for the Week Ahead
In a recent comprehensive meal prep session, Kayla shared her exciting plans for a nutritious, flavorful, and weight loss-friendly 5-day meal plan. She emphasizes the importance of choosing healthy ingredients, balancing macronutrients, and organizing meals efficiently for busy lifestyles. Her approach is inclusive, offering gluten-free, dairy-free, and grain-free options, making it accessible for various dietary needs.
Breakfast: Southwest Breakfast Frittata – Flavorful and Filling
Kayla begins with her Southwest Breakfast Frittata, a dish packed with healthy fats, proteins, and vibrant vegetables. Using a 10-12 inch non-stick skillet, she sautés half a yellow onion, red and green bell peppers, and jalapeño to add spice and antioxidants like vitamin C. Ground turkey, seasoned with clean taco spices, provides lean protein, while fresh cherry tomatoes—rich in lycopene—are added for their health benefits and flavor. Salsa verde keeps the dish moist without adding unnecessary calories, and a mixture of eggs, almond milk, nutritional yeast, and seasonings creates a rich, cheesy texture without dairy.
The frittata is baked at 375°F for 25-30 minutes, then sliced into five portions. Packed with nutrients, this meal combines healthy fats, fiber, and protein to keep you energized all morning. For convenience, Kayla suggests using separate containers or storing the frittata in the skillet, emphasizing the use of non-metal utensils to preserve the non-stick coating.
Lunch: Creamy Shrimp and Dill Pasta Salad – Perfect Cold & Light
Next, Kayla prepares a Creamy Shrimp and Dill Pasta Salad, ideal for those seeking a no-reheat lunch. She boils wild-caught shrimp until just pink, then rinses and drains them. The pasta is made gluten-free using chickpea, cassava, or rice noodles, with her preferred choice being chickpea noodles for added protein and fiber.
The salad incorporates crunchy celery, bell peppers, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and Kalamata olives, offering a colorful array rich in antioxidants, fiber, and healthy fats. Dill, an underrated herb, adds flavor and compounds beneficial for heart health and blood sugar regulation. A creamy dressing made from Greek yogurt, avocado mayonnaise, honey, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice coats the ingredients thoroughly, resulting in a vibrant, refreshing dish.
This salad can be stored in individual containers or a large one, making it portable and perfect for meal prep. It remains good for up to a month if frozen, making it a versatile choice for batch cooking.
For dinner, Kayla prepares a Grain-Free Orange Chicken and Rice Blend, combining protein-rich chicken breast with a flavorful orange sauce and a nutrient-dense rice mix. She coats cubed chicken in a blend of tapioca flour, baking powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then sears it in avocado oil until cooked through.
The sauce is made by sautéing fresh ginger and garlic, then simmering with orange juice, coconut aminos (a soy sauce alternative), honey, and orange zest, thickened with tapioca flour. The cooked chicken is tossed in this flavorful sauce, providing a delicious, health-conscious twist on classic orange chicken.
To keep the carb count lower and add fiber, she combines cauliflower rice with regular rice—pre-cooked in a rice cooker—and mixes it into the dish. Serving the chicken over this rice mixture creates a satisfying, protein-packed dinner that supports weight loss without sacrificing taste. The meals are stored in dividers or separate containers, ready to be combined when serving.
Snacks: Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Balls
Sweet cravings are satisfied with Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Balls, made healthier by using powdered peanut butter for fewer calories. Mixing powdered peanut butter, water, honey, vanilla, sea salt, flax seeds, oats, and chocolate chips results in a dough that’s refrigerated, then rolled into balls.
These portable snacks are perfect for on-the-go energy boosts, and Kayla notes that they can be stored in the fridge for a week or frozen for a month. They’re an easy, sweet, nutritious treat suitable for kids or adults alike.

Kickstarting the New Year with a High-Protein, Weight Loss-Friendly 5-Day Meal Prep
As the new year begins, many are eager to embrace healthier lifestyles and shed some extra pounds. In her latest vlog, Kayla champions the power of meal prepping, offering her viewers a comprehensive, delicious, and nutritious five-day meal plan designed to promote weight loss while keeping flavors intact. Her approach emphasizes flexibility, convenience, and health-conscious choices, making it accessible for a broad audience.
Kayla begins by setting the tone for a productive week with a menu that is not only high in protein but tailored to support weight loss goals. Crucially, her recipes are gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, and soy-free — accommodating various dietary restrictions while emphasizing nutrient-dense ingredients.
She notes that those not necessarily aiming to lose weight can still benefit from this plan by adjusting portion sizes or adding healthy snacks, ensuring the menu is adaptable to different nutritional needs.
The anchor of her breakfast plan is a protein-packed loaded turkey sausage breakfast casserole. The recipe involves sautéing chopped vegetables—including onion, red bell pepper, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and spinach—before combining them with ground turkey seasoned with garlic powder, paprika, sage, thyme, and red pepper flakes.
The mixture is baked with a whisked egg and nutritional yeast (or cheese for dairy-eaters) until set, then sliced into portions. Each serving provides approximately 38 grams of protein, making it a fulfilling start to the day.
For added nutritional value, bowls are topped with fresh strawberries, although Kayla suggests substituting with any berries. This meal exemplifies a balance of flavor, texture, and nutrition, ensuring sustained energy through the morning.
Nourishing Lunch: Grain-Free Chicken Stir Fry
Next up is a grain-free chicken stir fry served with sautéed cauliflower rice—a lower-calorie, grain-free alternative to traditional rice. The stir fry sauce blends coconut aminos, chicken broth, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and honey, thickened with tapioca flour.
Chopped chicken thighs (or breasts) are marinated briefly in the sauce, then stir-fried alongside a vibrant mix of vegetables: bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and onions. Once cooked, the mixture is simmered with the sauce to absorb flavors.
For serving, the cauliflower rice is prepared by defrosting frozen cauliflower, then sautéing it with green onions and seasoning. When assembling, the cauliflower rice is placed in containers, topped with the chicken stir fry, and garnished with sesame seeds and slices of avocado for added healthy fats and fiber.
Kayla highlights the flexibility of the recipe—viewers can opt for regular rice or other grain options—and encourages incorporating extra vegetables for added nutrients.
Her dinner choice is a high-protein turkey chili, a comforting yet nutritious option. The chili involves sautéing onion and bell peppers, adding minced garlic, and then cooking ground turkey with an array of spices: chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, and cayenne for a spicy kick.
Tomato paste, diced tomatoes (fire-roasted for enhanced flavor), chicken broth, kidney beans, honey, and baking soda are combined to create a rich, hearty stew. The addition of bay leaves and a simmering period of 30 minutes allows flavors to meld beautifully.
Once ready and cooled, the chili is portioned into containers, garnished with optional toppings like lime, jalapeños, and cilantro for an extra flavor boost. Each serving delivers approximately 38 grams of protein, making it an ideal satisfying dinner.
To round out the meal plan, Kayla features a straightforward but flavorful snack—homemade hummus with fresh veggie sticks. The hummus is whipped together in a food processor using canned chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, paprika, and seasonings, with added water to achieve a smooth consistency.
Prepped veggie sticks—celery and carrots—are stored in water to keep them crunchy and fresh throughout the week. This snack provides healthy fats, fiber, and protein, keeping hunger at bay between meals.
Overall Benefits and Flexibility
Throughout her presentation, Kayla emphasizes the importance of meal prepping as a strategy to stay on track with health and weight loss goals. She also reassures viewers that they can customize the plan—mixing recipes from previous meal preps, adjusting portion sizes, or substituting ingredients based on personal preferences.
She provides useful resources, including a printable full menu, macro calculations for each recipe, and a free grocery shopping list, making it easy for viewers to replicate and adapt her plan.
Kayla concludes by expressing her enthusiasm for the upcoming week with a fully stocked fridge ready for healthy eating. She encourages followers to try the recipes, share their progress and feedback, and tag her on social media.
Her comprehensive approach demonstrates that with strategic planning and simple, flavorful recipes, anyone can embark on a successful, healthy, and satisfying meal prep journey. Her emphasis on flexibility and accessibility aims to inspire viewers to make sustainable lifestyle changes, fostering long-term health and wellness.
Ready to transform your weekly routine? Dive into Kayla’s high-protein, weight-loss-friendly meal prep plan and enjoy delicious, nutritious meals that keep you energized and satisfied all week long.
Yeah, that's I denied every friends request to work in their house. The audacity to cut my price in half even I made it already cheaper or wanting it for free is crazy. And in the end they start complaining about the work. Like an old German saying: What didn't cost anything is shit. People behave exactly like this.

And the good thing is I am the first student of my department. I feel good to end my post graduation as the first ranker. It will give me confidence in the upcoming time of my career.
Congrats on topping your department! That’s a huge win. Success like this builds confidence and sets you up for the long haul in your career. Keep stacking achievements—time and consistency compound just like investments do
The Cecil Hotel still gives me shivers, your dive into its strange history hits that unsettling vibe just right< kind of like a ghost story you can't stop reading..
Same here. That slow pull into the dark is why it lingers, each rumor adds a little chill and and before you know it you’re clicking deeper > like the hotel is telling you to stay.
Totally, I get that pull. It's like the hotel's got its own gravity, dragging you into every creepy detail. You just gotta know more, even if it gives you the chills.
Smart take. Marriage ceremonies can cost a fortune with little lasting value. Crypto, while risky, offers potential growth if you research well. I'd say allocate wisely and diversify—don't go all in on one asset.

Pretty cool! Back at university, I specialized in alternative energy sources and my final project was on the underlying technology that they are showing on that video
In fact there are some plants that use similar (but not identical) technology being built already. I'll try to find the link I was checking out hte ohter day
As to whether its possible to make it small enough to power a house, I dont know...
Back when I was doing my research, it was only financially viable for higher output because the initial investment was quite large
But who knows... that was years ago and technology tends to make things cheaper over time so I wouldnt rule that out in the future
I would think it has real potentially as long as the powers that be let it happen... it takes up less space than solar panels. There doesn't seem to be anything bad about it either, in terms of the environment and the materials it uses.
I wish them luck!
And hopefully it is scalable in a downsizing kind of way. I'd love one of these for my off-grid homestead!!!
Yeah I think advertised big use case "DATA center" is wrong. That concept is fitting for smaller applications, you can go more modular and decentralized.
For not sure, a farm or some production facility seems more fitting.
And hopefully it is scalable in a downsizing kind of way. I'd love one of these for my off-grid homestead!!!
Totally - instead of setting up copper powerline somewhere, "just" equip each house or block or whatever with one those containers.
Yeah, just saying more and bigger planning would be more efficient, the modularity takes too much from the overall efficiency.
But just guessing, if market can't deliver you a solution, you have to huddle the options available.
Moar and smaller data center are might be more feasible with the units.

The Global Debt Crisis: Unraveling the Massive Financial Burden
Introduction: The Scale of the Worldwide Debt
Imagine a world drowning in an enormous mountain of debt—more than $300 trillion—a staggering sum owed by governments, companies, and households across the globe. This colossal figure, almost unimaginable, reflects a complex web of borrowing that influences every aspect of our economies and our futures.
In this deep dive, we explore how this debt crisis originated, who holds these debts, and what it means for each of us in the long run. Guy, the narrator of this educational content, emphasizes from the outset that he is not a financial advisor but aims to inform and educate about this critical issue.
At its core, debt is simply an agreement to repay borrowed money. While many associate debt with personal loans or credit cards, worldwide debt encompasses a far broader spectrum—spanning public, corporate, and individual borrowings.
Epidemiologists categorize these debts into three main groups:
Government debt (state debt)
Corporate debt
Household debt
As of the first quarter of 2025, the total global debt surpassed $324 trillion, illustrating a worrying upward trend.
Borrowing is a strategic tool—governments, businesses, and individuals use it to finance growth, handle crises, or fund essential services. Governments borrow to fund military actions, economic stimulus, or social programs—all without immediately raising taxes or printing money. Companies issue bonds or take loans for expansion, while households take mortgages, student loans, or credit cards to meet their daily needs.
The post-World War II era, governed initially by the Bretton Woods system, limited how much could be borrowed—since currencies were pegged to gold and the US dollar. But in 1971, this system collapsed, leading to the era of fiat money—money not backed by gold—and a dramatic increase in borrowing freedom. Today, countries can borrow unlimited amounts in their own currencies, often refinancing old debts rather than paying them off, freeing the process of debt accumulation from traditional limits.
Historical Drivers of Debt Growth
Various crises have punctuated this growth:
The oil shocks of the 1970s prompted government borrowing to subsidize energy costs.
The 1980s savings and loan crisis and the Asian financial crisis of the 1990s further increased bailouts and borrowing.
The 2008 global financial crisis led to trillions in government aid to stabilize banks and economies.
The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 pushed borrowing to unprecedented heights with massive stimulus measures.
While debt isn't inherently bad—in moderation, it can drive growth and fund productive investments—problems arise when debt spirals out of control, the economy stagnates, or interest costs grow faster than economies can handle.
The US remains the world's largest borrower, with public debt exceeding $36 trillion, amounting to roughly 120% of its GDP. Household debt (mortgages, student loans, credit cards) is over $18 trillion, with corporate debt adding another $14 trillion. American debtors owe more than a hundred thousand dollars per citizen.
China
China's government debt hovers around $18 trillion, approximately 93% of its GDP. However, much of this debt is held off the official books—by local governments or state-owned enterprises—making precise figures difficult. China's rapid infrastructure development continues, financed largely through borrowing.
Japan’s debt is immense relative to its economy—nearly 225% of GDP, or about $8.8 trillion—with households and businesses also highly leveraged. The country’s aging population places a heavy burden on social services.
Europe
In Europe, countries like France and Italy carry high debt loads—114% of GDP and 138%, respectively. France’s debt stands at $3.6 trillion, with household and corporate debts also significant. Italy’s national debt is comparably high but has relatively lower household and corporate debt levels due to cultural lending practices.
The UK
The United Kingdom’s debt is approximately $3.6 trillion, creeping past 100% of GDP last year, signifying the growing challenge of managing national finances.
In developed economies, most debt is held domestically by banks, pension funds, insurance firms, and central banks. For instance:
The Bank of Japan owns over 50% of Japan’s government debt.
The Federal Reserve and US pension funds own nearly 80% of US debt, with foreign holdings surpassing 20% (notably Japan, China, with the UK also as a significant holder).
Interestingly, new actors such as crypto stablecoin issuers—like USDT and USDC—have emerged as major buyers of US government bonds, supporting government borrowing silently.
In developing countries, the situation is more precarious: a larger share of their debt is owed to foreign investors, multilateral institutions like the IMF and World Bank, or foreign governments. These countries are highly vulnerable to shifts in global capital flows and interest rates, risking debt crises more acutely.
How Debt Is Issued and Managed
Governments typically issue bonds—promises to repay borrowed sums with interest—each with varying durations. Most do not fully repay their debts but roll over old bonds by issuing new ones, allowing debt to grow unless economic growth outpaces it.
Some countries enforce financial repression, requiring banks and institutions to hold government bonds, creating demand even when yields are below inflation—effectively managing debt through suppressed market forces.
Private sectors, including corporations and households, finance themselves through bonds, loans, mortgages, and credit cards. These interrelated borrowing mechanisms create a convoluted system where each sector both influences and depends on others.
Aging populations, especially in developed countries like Japan and the US, lead to higher pension and healthcare expenditures. For example, social security programs in the US are projected to consume a rising share of GDP, reaching over 14% by 2055.
Infrastructure and Technology
Many nations have underinvested in essential infrastructure—roads, bridges, digital networks—which is costly but vital for future productivity. China continues heavy infrastructure investments, while Western nations struggle with aging systems, often subsidized or financed through debt.
Geopolitical and Military Competition
Increasing defense budgets—driven by geopolitical tensions—add to government spending, often financed through borrowing.
Economic shocks—pandemics, wars, environmental disasters—prompt governments to increase spending to stabilize economies, often adding permanently to debt levels.
Growth and Debt Dynamics
When economic growth stalls, debt burdens become harder to sustain since debt-to-GDP ratios increase by default, even if absolute debt levels stay flat or grow slowly. Raising interest rates to combat inflation raises borrowing costs, further compounding debt difficulties.
The Future of Global Debt: Risks and Possibilities
While developed countries can technically keep borrowing by rolling over debt or creating money, this isn’t sustainable in the long run:
Persistent high-level borrowing risks loss of confidence, higher borrowing costs, and potential crises.
Many economies depend on trust—if investors doubt a country’s ability to service debt, markets can tighten, leading to sharp crises or defaults.
High interest rates and sluggish growth make debt servicing more challenging, equivalent to a "debt trap." Although outright sovereign default remains rare among developed nations owing in their own currencies, the risk is not zero—especially if investor confidence erodes.
Will the Debt Ever Be Fully Paid?
Historically, countries have preferred to manage and roll over debt rather than clear it outright. As long as growth keeps pace with debt accumulation, ratios can stabilize. But if growth slows or reverses, trouble looms.
The world’s economic system is intricately woven with debt—more than enough to raise concerns about stability. While outright defaults among developed nations are unlikely, the enormous debt burden creates risks of financial instability, inflation, and economic slowdown.
History shows that markets and policies can adapt—debt can be restructured, and systems can evolve—but not without challenges. Central banks and governments are caught in delicate balancing acts—trying to sustain growth, manage inflation, and keep confidence high—all while navigating a mountain of accumulated debt.
Whether this system will sustain, require a reset, or transform remains to be seen. What's clear is that understanding these dynamics is crucial for preparing for the uncertain economic landscape of the coming decades.
I think most of us are capable of reflection, just takes some quiet time and honesty with ourselves. It’s not always easy to break the noise of daily life though

Understanding the Transforming Structure of the Cryptocurrency Market
Cryptocurrency analysis often focuses on metrics like technical analysis, on-chain data, sentiment, and macroeconomic factors. However, a factor that might be even more critical—yet is rarely discussed—is the underlying structure of the crypto market and how capital flows within it. This structural perspective offers vital insights into market behavior, upcoming trends, and potential future developments.
In this comprehensive overview, Nick from The Coin Bureau explores how the crypto market's structure has evolved, what changes are on the horizon, and what these shifts could mean for investors and enthusiasts.
The Origins and Early Challenges of Crypto Accessibility
Initially, buying crypto was cumbersome. After Bitcoin's launch in 2009, early adopters could only acquire BTC peer-to-peer through online forums and marketplaces. The first cryptocurrency exchange, Mount Gox, appeared in 2010, but transferring funds between banks and exchanges remained difficult because most banks refused to facilitate such transactions.
This barrier persisted until 2014, when Tether introduced USDT—a stablecoin that addressed the banking problem by allowing exchanges to trade with a digital dollar equivalent that minimized reliance on traditional banking systems. USDT enabled exchanges to hold and exchange stablecoins more easily, creating a new layer of market efficiency.
Despite USDT solving issues for exchanges, individual traders still faced hurdles transferring funds to and from platforms. For example, in 2018, a Coin Bureau team member had to purchase prepaid vouchers at a gas station to buy Litecoin—a stark reminder of the ongoing obstacles and the slow progress toward seamless access.
Regulatory Developments and Market Legitimization
Over time, countries like Switzerland adopted friendlier regulatory environments, making it easier for investors to cash out and invest in cryptocurrencies. Notably, Switzerland introduced exchange-traded products (ETPs) for major cryptos as early as 2017, significantly increasing accessibility for institutional investors.
The launch of regulated crypto-ETPs globally, along with Bitcoin futures on the CME, increased crypto's legitimacy among traditional investors. Noteworthy is that, despite these developments, retail investors still dominate the market, holding about 80% of available shares compared to institutional holdings.
Market Capitalization Growth and Structural Changes
By 2017, crypto's total market cap peaked around $750 billion. Fast forward to 2021, this figure surged to approximately $3 trillion, a more than fourfold increase. While many expect the percentage gains might decline in future cycles, recent structural shifts suggest the potential for continued growth.
New market-infrastructure innovations—such as spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, assets from heavyweights like Fidelity and BlackRock, and user-friendly wallets like Phantom—are making participation easier than ever. These developments could significantly expand both the number of investors and the total market size.
For context, in developed countries, about 20% of people hold crypto, while 60% own stocks. This gap indicates considerable room for growth; the crypto investor base could theoretically triple to match equity markets. If the current rapid structural improvements continue, the total crypto market capitalization could reach around $6–9 trillion in the next cycle.
The Composition of the Market: Altcoins, Liquidity, and Attention
A key concern among observers is the growth of altcoins, with many believing that their proliferation dilutes overall liquidity. However, much of the recent new altcoins—often memecoins or bots-created tokens—are relatively insignificant. The popular tracking platforms show that while the total number of altcoins increased from about 10,000 in 2021 to around 19,000 today, this represents less than a doubling and may not substantially drain liquidity.
Importantly, demand for quality altcoins appears to be growing, driven by new investors seeking opportunities beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. The influx of institutional-grade products like spot ETFs, combined with accessible wallets and exchanges, fosters greater demand and diminishes concerns about liquidity dilution.
Another structural change involves the dynamics of crypto staking, lending, and derivatives. Whales and institutional participants often leverage their holdings by borrowing against BTC and ETH, especially through DeFi platforms, to buy altcoins. Recent reports, including those from Galaxy Digital, highlight a sharp increase in DeFi loans using USDC to leverage positions in ETH and BTC. These activities serve to increase overall market liquidity and are likely to intensify with the inflow of ETF capital.
Looking ahead, regulatory developments such as the Genius Act and the Clarity Act—both slated to become effective around 2027—are poised to reshape the legal landscape. These laws aim to clarify regulations around stablecoins and other crypto assets, potentially enabling more traditional financial institutions to participate directly.
This increased involvement could lead to the emergence of national banks issuing their own stablecoins, operating on blockchain networks like Ethereum. Traditional financial giants might also acquire or partner with crypto companies, diluting the grassroots, decentralized ethos. For investors, this could mean a shift towards a more integrated, regulated environment but also heightened competition from legacy institutions.
The Potential Disruption of Exchanges and Market Infrastructure
In future cycles, many existing centralized exchanges might face challenges or even disappearance, as traditional firms and banks develop their own platforms and products. The next bull market might see a transition from trading on platforms like Binance to institutional exchanges like NASDAQ, with shared stablecoins issued by major banks.
This shift signifies a move toward a "digital assets" cycle rather than a traditional crypto cycle. While some smaller or less accessible cryptocurrencies may fade away, there will still be numerous opportunities—particularly in tokenized real-world assets (RWAs)—offered by startups emulating altcoins' success.
An often-overlooked aspect of the current market is attention. Unlike previous cycles, where abundant free time during global lockdowns fueled prolonged rallies and niche rotation, today’s investors have less time to research or monitor markets. Recent rallies in 2024 have lasted only 2–3 months, similar to the short-lived surges of 2017.
This diminished capacity for sustained attention means that market movements could be shorter and more intense, with faster rotation between assets. The success of a crypto project now heavily depends on high traction and visibility since many tokens can pump quickly but also fade just as fast.
The most accessible cryptocurrencies tend to be longstanding ones like Litecoin and XRP or those built on fast, affordable blockchain platforms like Solana and BSC—catering to ease of purchase and use. These will likely attract more attention during the next cycle compared to more obscure or difficult-to-acquire tokens.
Looking Ahead: Structural Evolution Toward 2029 and Beyond
The next major regulatory and technological shifts await around 2027 but already influence current market dynamics. Regulatory clarity may either bolster or hinder market growth, depending on whether policies favor decentralization or increase traditional financial sector involvement.
Future market structures could be characterized by:
Greater integration with traditional finance (TradFi),
Substantial involvement from major institutions, and
Shorter, more intense market cycles driven by attention dynamics.
While many older crypto assets might fade due to structural changes, new sectors—particularly tokenized RWAs—are poised to flourish, creating fresh avenues for speculation and development.
Conclusion
The structure of the crypto market has transformed significantly over the past few years, and these changes are set to accelerate. From infrastructural improvements to regulatory clarity, and from evolving liquidity mechanisms to shifting investor attention, each factor influences market behavior.
Investors who understand these structural nuances are better positioned to navigate upcoming cycles, identify promising assets, and anticipate shifts beyond simple price charts and sentiment indicators. As the market continues to mature, staying informed about these foundational developments will be vital for anyone aiming to succeed in the evolving landscape of digital assets.

Transitioning the DAO: Planning for a Sustainable Future
In a recent community town hall, core stakeholders of the SPS Down Hall gathered to discuss crucial future steps for the growth and sustainability of the DAO. The conversation centered around transitioning to a new token distribution phase, managing reward pools, and establishing a clear, achievable framework that ensures the long-term health of the system.
The Context: End of Initial Distribution and the Need for a New Approach
The SPS DAO was launched in July 2021, with a white paper outlining a plan to distribute 3 billion SPS tokens over approximately five years. The initial goal was to release and distribute these tokens steadily until July 2026. However, as the system approaches that date, it becomes clear that the community must strategize around what happens next—how to maintain incentives, reward participants, and ensure ongoing sustainability without indefinite inflation.
The original plan did not include an abrupt halt; instead, the vision was for the DAO to generate revenue independently—through pack sales, mini set proposals, and other avenues—to replace the inflow of newly minted tokens. The challenge is now to transition smoothly from inflationary rewards to a sustainable, revenue-backed reward system.
Core Principles: The Need for a Framework and Sustainability
Designing the new system is not just about deciding how many tokens to allocate or withdraw but creating a comprehensive framework that guides long-term reward distributions. Community members emphasize the importance of preventing a scenario where rewards "run out" suddenly, causing instability and loss of trust.
A recurring theme is the need for a flexible, yet structured, plan that can adapt over time. This involves establishing "boundary conditions" for rewards—defining an exponential decay model that gradually tapers reward pools, ensuring they diminish smoothly rather than abruptly.
One participant expressed that having an agreed-upon model that extends reward sustainability for at least 3-4 years is critical. This provides stability, prevents community panic, and allows for strategic planning around incentives such as staking, tournaments, and reward cards.
The Proposed Solution: Exponential Decay of Rewards
Clay, a key community architect, proposed an exponential decay model. This involves allocating the remaining tokens (roughly 200 million SPS still in reward pools and additional liquid assets in DAO wallets totaling around a billion SPS) into a decay curve.
Key Points of Clay’s Proposal:
Gradual Reduction: Distribute a percentage of remaining rewards monthly, decreasing over time, modeled on exponential decay with rates around 2-3%. For example, starting with a certain amount, then decreasing it by 3% each month.
Flexible Adjustments: Community members can modify decay rates (e.g., 1%, 5%) based on feedback, economic conditions, and the DAO's revenue.
Revenue-Based Incentives: Beyond decay, revenue streams from pack sales, mini sets, and in-game activities can be used to supplement reward pools—adding additional SPS to incentivize gameplay, staking, and participation.
This approach aims to avoid abrupt reward stop-offs, stretching the reward system over multiple years, and providing a sustainable pathway forward.
Managing Reward Pools & Incentives: Balancing Immediate and Long-term Rewards
Participants highlight that different pools—ranked rewards, land, tournaments, brawls—have varying levels of funding and utility. Moving to a decay model involves strategic decisions about where to allocate reduced rewards and whether to introduce new incentives.
Ranking Rewards: Could see significant reductions but might be supplemented later with voucher-based incentives or skins.
Land and Brawls: Might currently be sufficiently funded to handle a minor reduction without major impact.
Staking Rewards: Particularly sensitive, as the community's staking behavior is driven by ROI expectations. A sharp reduction could cause unstaking and reduce active participation.
There’s consensus that the DAO can introduce new reward types—such as skins, NFTs, or voucher benefits—to compensate for lower SPS rewards, encouraging continued engagement.
Community members stress the need for proactive planning to prevent a "cliff" scenario—sudden reward drops that could lead to instability and withdrawal of participants.
Key points include:
Opening space for proposals from the DAO for alternative incentives.
Incorporating community feedback into models and adjustments.
Establishing clear, transparent plans that are easy to understand and communicate.
Participants agree that the longer the delays in implementing a sustainable plan, the more difficult the transition will become. Early action, including setting a hard timeline—around one month—is critical to avoid future crises.
Handling External Factors: Team Collaboration and Development Resources
Some concerns focus on how potential changes—such as adding skins or enhancing voucher utilities—require collaboration with the development team. Participants note that resource limitations mean these enhancements should be incremental and align with existing infrastructure to avoid overburdening the team.
The community recognizes that integrating new features like skins or voucher-based incentives can be achieved with minimal development overhead if planned carefully, which is preferable over large overhauls that demand significant time and money.
Broader Strategic Goals: Ensure the DAO’s Long-Term Viability
The overarching goal is to transition from a model driven by token inflation to one supported by revenue and strategic reward tapering. This includes:
Setting clear, manageable boundaries for reward distributions.
Maintaining incentivization for stakeholders with varying interests—gameplay, staking, collecting.
Ensuring the system remains balanced so SPS's value and utility are preserved or enhanced.
Community members emphasize that stability, transparency, and sustainability are more critical than chasing perfect numbers. Flexibility in adjustments, continuous dialogue, and proactive planning are key.
Final Thoughts and Next Steps
The community consensus is moving toward adopting Clay’s exponential decay framework, complemented by revenue streams and innovative incentives like skins and vouchers. Both community feedback and some team development work are needed to fine-tune these models.
Gathering further feedback from the wider community.
Drafting formal proposals based on the outlined models.
Implementing a pilot or phased approach to test the decay and incentive mechanisms.
The urgency to act is recognized—delaying exacerbates risks of instability and reduces stakeholder confidence. As one participant summarized, having a well-thought-out, flexible plan will position the DAO for sustained growth, value, and community engagement.
Navigating the post-inflationary future of the SPS DAO requires deliberate planning, community involvement, and flexible models that adapt to evolving conditions. By implementing a strategic, exponential reward decay and supplementing it with innovative incentive structures, the DAO is positioning itself for long-term success, ensuring that rewards remain sustainable and stakeholders stay motivated.
Maintaining an open dialogue, fostering collaboration across the community and development team, and making data-driven decisions are central to this journey—an exciting future for the DAO as it evolves beyond its initial distribution phase.
Absolutely, crypto does open up new possibilities. It's like standing at the start of a financial revolution—huge potential if you navigate it wisely. Reminds me of the early internet days, full of promise and pitfalls.
#newsonleo #usa #crime New York state judge dismissed the terrorism - the most serious charge - against Luigi Mangione which means that Mangione, if convicted, can't be sentenced to harshest sentence and can expect parole.
Such paroles are not uncommon. Of course, it often depends on the nature of murder, identities of killer and/or victims. Generally speaking, if a crime is abhorrent or high profile, chances for parole are usually slim to none. If the killer or victim are ordinary people, it is more likely that the parole will be given.
How it would play out in this case is anyone's guess.

A few weeks ago I openly wondered why such a technically-innovative project like MultiversX was struggling to gain adoption.
Now, I'm starting to see the red flags in leadership: running out of money, printing tokens to dilute previous investors, kill the messenger to avoid necessary tough questions.

The Rise and Fall of Mark Duscus: A Martial Arts Star's Journey
Early Life and Martial Arts Roots
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1964, Mark Duscus grew up immersed in martial arts. His father, a martial arts instructor and the founder of the One Hopun Do system, greatly influenced his early life. By the age of four, Duscus was already earning a fourth-degree black belt, showcasing his dedication and talent. Over the years, he trained in various disciplines including Muay Thai, Capoeira, Wing Chun, Shennai, and Taishi, establishing himself as one of the most skilled martial artists of his generation.
Initially, Duscus had no interest in acting. Inspired by the film Shaolin Temple, he dreamed of becoming a writer or even a Buddhist monk. It was only serendipity that shifted his path when, while teaching martial arts in San Francisco, an assistant director spotted him. This encounter led to a minor role in Wayne Wang's Dim Sum: A Little Bit of Heart in 1985—though that part was cut, it ignited his passion for acting.
In the mid-80s, Duscus faced a stiff uphill battle. Despite his natural talent and on-screen charisma, he spent five years auditioning without success. Eventually, he landed his first significant role in Bioman, a show reminiscent of the Power Rangers and other tokusatsu series, about a team of freedom fighters led by martial artist Victor Lee. Unfortunately, Bioman wasn't picked up by networks, meaning Duscus's first real opportunity to shine was still on hold.
His next roles included Angel Town, American Samurai, and the cult hit Only the Strong in 1993, which showcased his martial arts prowess. Only the Strong became a cult classic, reflecting the 80s and 90s fascination with unruly students being disciplined by stern teachers via martial arts. The film is notable for featuring what remains the only Hollywood movie to showcase Capoeira throughout, highlighting Duscus's agility. Despite his talent, the film didn't propel him into mainstream stardom.
Following Only the Strong, Duscus starred in other straight-to-video projects such as Double Dragon, Redemption, Kickboxer 5, and Deadly Past. While these films demonstrated his skill, they didn't make a significant impact commercially. Hollywood saw potential in him, and he was cast by French director Christophe Gans in Crying Freeman, a cult hit that gained praise for its fight sequences and Duscus's charm. However, this wasn't a mainstream breakthrough.
The big break seemed imminent when Hollywood invested $40 million in Island of Dr. Moreau as a star vehicle for Val Kilmer, Marlon Brando, and others. Unfortunately, production chaos—including Brando’s unpredictable behavior and weather delays—turned the film into one of the worst productions ever, with Duscus appearing briefly in a minor role. The movie flopped spectacularly, leaving Duscus’s Hollywood ambitions unfulfilled.
In 1998, Duscus starred in Drive, a high-octane Hong Kong-style action film. The movie had all the ingredients of a mainstream hit: fast-paced sequences, martial arts, and a talented leading man. However, it was released three years early—before the late 90s/early 2000s surge of martial arts blockbusters like The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Had it been released later, it might have achieved global success; instead, it went straight to DVD and TV, gaining a cult following but missing mainstream accolades.
Despite the missed opportunity, Duscus continued to work in France and Europe, appearing in Brotherhood of the Wolf, which was a major international hit, and star roles in movies like Cradle to the Grave alongside Jet Li, which grossed over $56 million worldwide. His ability to adapt to different roles and his screen presence kept him afloat within the niche of martial arts cinema.
The turning point in Duscus's career arguably came with his participation in Iron Chef America in 2005. While initially baffling, his role as a host of a culinary competition marked a significant departure from martial arts and acting. Ironically, this gig effectively ended his Hollywood acting career. He later expressed confusion and surprise about being cast for a cooking show, emphasizing that he thought his talents laid elsewhere.
He continued working in television, portraying the lead villain in Hawaii Five-0, appearing in the Mortal Kombat web series as Kong Lao, and guest roles in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Netflix’s Wu Assassins. His participation in John Wick: Chapter 3 in 2019 was a return to the spotlight, delivering a memorable villain that critics noted for his screen presence.
Reflection: Why Didn't He Achieve Greater Stardom?
In reflecting on Duscus’s career, it becomes clear that his true passion was martial arts, not acting. He entered Hollywood more as a skilled fighter seeking to utilize his talents rather than an aspiring star. He treated his acting roles like jobs to support his family, rather than a lifelong aspiration for superstardom. His moderate successes—such as Brotherhood of the Wolf, Cradle to the Grave, and John Wick 3—demonstrate his skill and charisma, but no single role became his defining breakout.
Legacy and Final Thoughts
While Mark Duscus may not have achieved the Hollywood stardom he deserved, his influence in martial arts cinema remains notable. His induction into the Martial Arts History Museum in 2023 underscores his impact on the genre, even if he's not a household name.
His story highlights a vital lesson: success isn't solely defined by fame but by passion and humility. Duscus’s contentment with his life — supporting his family and pursuing what he loves — is perhaps the greatest accomplishment of all. Still, one can’t help wonder what might have been if circumstances, timing, or choices had aligned differently.
Conclusion
Mark Duscus's journey from a martial arts prodigy to Hollywood hopeful and finally to a TV personality exemplifies the unpredictable nature of stardom. His talent, perseverance, and love for martial arts define his career. Though he may not have become the global superstar many predicted, his legacy persists in the martial arts community and the cult classics that continue to inspire martial artists and film fans alike.
And now, with his voice in Blue-Eyed Samurai and appearances in popular series, Duscus remains active and appreciated—proof that sometimes, true success is simply doing what you love.

But your holding giving your more profit also.
ya you are right
The amount of LSTR you get goes down, but your actual earnings do not. 1 LSTR at $10 is the same as 10 LSTR at $1.
I know, bro..
Right now, I only care about LSTR, not USD, because the main focus should be LSTR accumulation 😊
So....Asking for a friend...When does @leostrategy start moving the price waaaaaay up?
I'm dying over here lol
🎉 Thank you for holding LSTR tokens!
Your post has been automatically voted with 9.1% weight.
I'm not looking for quick returns. Far from it. I've been here since day one, and was buying LEO at 1 cent when everyone was selling.
Pretty sure I paid my dues.
I just dont have a 10 year game plan at my age anymore. Not saying I expect to get rich overnight, I just want to win once.
I've lost at crypto pretty much every project I've ever backed so yeah....$LEO is all I have left.
The supply/demand tipping point has gotta be somewhere close.
Sellers who started their power downs at 1:1 with HIVE are nearly out (it's been about 4 weeks).
While LeoStrategy's warchest to buy has continued to get bigger thanks to SURGE.
Just wait until their essential monopoly on LeoDex USDC rewards are sold to buy LEO!
🚀.
it is time to check the baselines.

If you go for 1 year, you may can save some HBD.
thanks for the inputs.. I will start accumulating HBD.. Or maybe renew this time for a month and the next time renew for a year.. Cheers !
If you have the 100 $HBD available, do it. if you don't, but you can spend 10 $HBD each month, do that.

I'm kinda confused why it'll be Base when LEO is on Arbitrum.. I guess there are reasons, but I haven't seen or heard those reasons
!BBH
It is a good question.
Exposure to more and different people I think.
That might be the case.

Since I do a lot of walking these days, I've now decided to give #actifit another try.
Hopefully it has improved since last time I tried it 😅
Well, for me.. I had to turn on "Aggressive Tracking" from the settings and disable battery optimization on the app.
So, let me know if it works for you..
Yeah, I remember needing to do that too when I used it. And even then, some days it had tracked 0 steps, while other apps had tracked like 20k 🤯
Maybe, because you have closed the app. I just minimize it instead of closing it.
Try that and move, then just maximize the screen and see if it counted anything.
It was random when it counted and when it didn't. Currently it shows a notification where it shows the amount of steps.
I'll see what happens after today's walk 😁
It's a pretty good idea though, but I like closing all apps when I'm not actively using them
!BBH
I know.. From what I have seen. That it counts little bit afterwards when I close the app and then it stops.
I do close all apps. But, I keep this one. Because, it doesn't work in the background otherwise. 😆
I'll have to be aware of how it behave in the early stages of my walk. Wouldn't want to miss out on something like 14-20k steps today 🤣
I should probably be doing some pictures too 🤔
!BBH
Well, it behaves weirdly. LOL
Anyway, you can test that it counts the steps while the screen is off or not, right now. I'll check later how many steps it counted when you post. 😂
best is smallest Fitbit
Is that some Hive thing too?
I’m using a Fitbit inspire for tracking steps, and you can connect actifit with Fitbit
Have you tried strava2hive?
It works well for me, I always forget to do it when I know I will have a lot of steps on a busy day.
Does it count steps for you all the time?
I'm kinda excited to see if it does for me this time around 😆
!BBH
I leave it open all the time because it might not count if my phone goes into sleep mode.
Even with maximum performance settings on, right?
That should be fixed.
Or, get data from another step-counting app. For Samsung users that could be samsung health. That works for counting steps (albeit not always 100% accurate, but I don't think any app can do that)
that is cool! Also get the weward app and use it parallel. Join the HIVE community there the code is HIVE.10

I've seen the apps for weward and those alone has kept me from using it so far 😂
!BBH
I like #actifit because I don't need to have my phone for tracking. I just use my Xiaomi MiFitBand 6 and sync it to my Health App :D
Now all I need to do is walking ^^'
Yeah... my actifit app doesn't sync with any health app. It would be ideal though, but that's not the way it want to work for me 😂😂

Part 1/11:
The Frustration with the PS5 Pro: A Gamer's Perspective on Rising Costs and Decreasing Quality
In a candid and raw video rant, a serious and frustrated gamer shares his experience with the PlayStation 5 Pro, expressing dissatisfaction with both its performance and design. His monologue offers a visceral critique of Sony’s latest console, highlighting what he perceives as neglect for consumer expectations, rising prices, and declining quality.
Initial Excitement Turns to Disillusionment
Part 2/11:
Part 3/11:
One of the core grievances is Sony’s design decision to relocate USB ports from the front to the back of the console. While this might seem minor, it has caused significant frustration for users relying on USB headsets and external drives.
Heat and Connectivity: The gamer criticizes the placement of USB ports at the back, arguing that it exposes important peripherals to increased heat and reduces accessibility. His experience is that USB ports at the back now make connecting devices like headsets more cumbersome, especially since the back heatsink emits substantial heat, which could potentially affect device performance and longevity.
Part 4/11:
Compatibility and Connectivity Issues: He details how his premium headsets, such as Astro A50 Lightseed, began cutting out or disconnecting entirely. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps—including using USB extenders, switching ports, and adjusting settings—the problems persisted. What should have been a seamless experience turned into constant disconnections, causing him to be unable to enjoy his gaming sessions comfortably.
The Growing Problem of Product Deterioration
Part 5/11:
Part 6/11:
Decision to Abandon Console Gaming in Favor of PC
Part 7/11:
Part 8/11:
Throughout his rant, he highlights what he perceives as a disconnect between the price of these gaming devices and the quality Sony delivers. The promised “Pro” status is not reflected in real-world performance or durability, and this fuels his anger about how manufacturers prioritize profits over consumer satisfaction.
He also laments about the inconvenience of wired peripherals in the age of wireless technology. He despises returning to a wired setup, recalling how much cleaner and more streamlined recent gaming setups have become thanks to Bluetooth and wireless accessories.
Final Verdict: A Caution to Future Buyers
Part 9/11:
In conclusion, the gamer warns potential buyers against investing in the PS5 Pro. Despite an initial period of satisfaction, he believes that the flaws will only become magnified over time, leaving consumers frustrated and disappointed.
He ends his message with a profound declaration: he will never purchase another Sony console again. His definitive stance is that the combination of high costs, hardware issues, and Sony’s apparent prioritization of profit over quality has irreparably damaged his trust.
Reflection: Broader Industry Concerns
Part 10/11:
This passionate review echoes a broader concern within the gaming community: the increasing trend of escalating console prices without corresponding improvements in hardware quality or reliability. Consumers are feeling the pinch, especially when hardware failures and design choices—like USB port placement—impact the user experience.
As gamers look forward to next-generation consoles, this frustration underscores the importance of manufacturers listening closely to their community and ensuring that higher prices are matched with better engineering, durability, and user-centric design.
Part 11/11:
In summary, the harsh critique presented reveals a growing disillusionment with the PS5 Pro, highlighting the tangible issues of hardware deterioration, design flaws, and perceived profiteering. For now, at least this gamer is shifting his focus away from consoles, seeking solace in the more customizable and reliable world of PC gaming.

⚡️ Launchpads for meme coins are continuously creating tokens, energizing Solana's dynamic token ecosystem! 🎭 Analysis available from a crypto expert.
what happens if their meme communities all die?
That's a fair concern. If meme communities fade, the tokens often lose hype and value pretty fast. Solana's ecosystem might still churn out new ones, but it’s a risky space for sure.
Capitalism is gonna do the divide and conquer of markets.!
Yeah, capitalism tends to fragment markets like that. It’s all about grabbing attention for the next big thing, even in meme coins. Solana’s ecosystem might just keep splitting focus with new tokens.
Stay a-way from meme coins fund the $SOL ecosystem
Fair point, sticking to $SOL itself might be the safer bet. Meme coins are a gamble, and funding the core ecosystem could be more stable long-term.

I need to bring fund from outside to buy more SURGE.

Part 1/11:
Part 2/11:
Part 3/11:
Part 4/11:
Dinner: Grain-Free Orange Chicken & Rice Blend – Asian-Inspired and Protein-Packed
Part 5/11:
Part 6/11:
Part 7/11:
These portable snacks are perfect for on-the-go energy boosts, and Kayla notes that they can be stored in the fridge for a week or frozen for a month. They’re an easy, sweet, nutritious treat suitable for kids or adults alike.
Additional Tips & Recommendations
Nutritional Strategies
The entire menu emphasizes nutrient-dense ingredients that provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
The balanced macronutrient profile—proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbs—supports sustained energy and fullness.
Incorporating herbs like dill and bell peppers enhances flavor naturally while boosting health benefits.
Meal Prep Tips
Part 8/11:
Preparing meals in advance avoids the temptation of unhealthy snacks and last-minute fast foods.
Portion control and organized storage optimize refrigerator space and reduce waste.
For Non-Weight Loss Goals
Partnership with Caraway: Safe, Stylish, and Eco-Friendly Cookware
Part 9/11:
Throughout the video, Kayla shares her enthusiasm for Caraway, a brand offering non-toxic, ceramic-coated, and aesthetically pleasing cookware and storage solutions. She highlights that most non-stick pans contain harmful chemicals like PFOAs and PTFE, which can leach into food and pose health risks such as endocrine disruption and potential carcinogenic effects.
Caraway's cookware is free of these toxins while providing superior non-stick performance and longevity. The set includes magnetic dividers and storage sleeves for organization, along with glass containers that are BPA, PFOA, and PFAS-free—perfect for meal storage.
Kayla offers her viewers a 10% discount site-wide, encouraging them to prioritize health and safety in their kitchen gear.
Part 10/11:
Final Thoughts: A Complete, Nutritious Week
Kayla’s curated 5-day meal prep plan combines flavor, convenience, and health, making it ideal whether you're focused on weight loss, clean eating, or simply maintaining healthy habits. The recipes are largely customizable, allowing substitution of ingredients based on preferences or dietary restrictions.
She emphasizes the importance of planning ahead to simplify busy weeks, with ready-to-eat meals that don’t compromise on taste or nutritional quality. With her detailed recipes, macro counts, and shopping lists, her goal is to make healthy eating accessible, easy, and satisfying.

Part 1/9:
Kickstarting the New Year with a High-Protein, Weight Loss-Friendly 5-Day Meal Prep
As the new year begins, many are eager to embrace healthier lifestyles and shed some extra pounds. In her latest vlog, Kayla champions the power of meal prepping, offering her viewers a comprehensive, delicious, and nutritious five-day meal plan designed to promote weight loss while keeping flavors intact. Her approach emphasizes flexibility, convenience, and health-conscious choices, making it accessible for a broad audience.
Embracing a High-Protein, Versatile Menu
Part 2/9:
Kayla begins by setting the tone for a productive week with a menu that is not only high in protein but tailored to support weight loss goals. Crucially, her recipes are gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, and soy-free — accommodating various dietary restrictions while emphasizing nutrient-dense ingredients.
She notes that those not necessarily aiming to lose weight can still benefit from this plan by adjusting portion sizes or adding healthy snacks, ensuring the menu is adaptable to different nutritional needs.
Delicious Breakfast: Loaded Turkey Sausage Casserole
Part 3/9:
Part 4/9:
Part 5/9:
Hearty Dinner: High-Protein Turkey Chili
Part 6/9:
Part 7/9:
Once ready and cooled, the chili is portioned into containers, garnished with optional toppings like lime, jalapeños, and cilantro for an extra flavor boost. Each serving delivers approximately 38 grams of protein, making it an ideal satisfying dinner.
Simple, Nutritious Snacks: Homemade Hummus & Veggie Sticks
To round out the meal plan, Kayla features a straightforward but flavorful snack—homemade hummus with fresh veggie sticks. The hummus is whipped together in a food processor using canned chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, paprika, and seasonings, with added water to achieve a smooth consistency.
Part 8/9:

Day 448 already, thats wild. Craving a cozy soup from teh pantry> and a quick veggie toast.
Haha, yeah. Did you finally satisfy your cravings?
just about taking my pap with portage beans
That's a good combo. Do you prefer the white pap or yellow pap? Also, what do you add to your pap for a good mixture?
INSANE: Strangers won't hesitate to pay the full amount, but friends often expect a freebie.
This is facts, we see it all the time with owning a business, friends want it heavily discounted.
Yeah, that's I denied every friends request to work in their house. The audacity to cut my price in half even I made it already cheaper or wanting it for free is crazy. And in the end they start complaining about the work. Like an old German saying: What didn't cost anything is shit. People behave exactly like this.
!BBH
Totally get that. It's wild how people value stuff less when it's free or discounted. That old saying nails it—cost matters to perception.
Friends always think you are cheating on them
Haha, yeah, it's like they assume you're overcharging just because they know you. Strangers don't even question it half the time.
Wild how a random client pays full price, while your buddy hints it should be free. I just treat it like a ba;sic boundary and pri;ce my time, keeps things clean.
Totally get that. Setting a clear boundary on pricing your time keeps things fair and avoids awkward vibes with friends. Solid way to handle it
Exactly. Clear pricing makes it fiar for everyone and and removes the guesswork, so even with friends the vibe stays easy.
Totally, clear pricing just cuts out all the weirdness. Keeps the vibe chill with everyone, friends or not
Something is really wrong here.
Totally, it's kinda backwards. You'd think friends would be the first to support you, but often they're looking for a handout instead.
That's a shame.
Yeah, it really is. Feels like the closer someone is, the more they expect a discount or something for free. So weird how that works sometimes

Glad it hit the mark! The Cecil's history is just so creepy, it’s like every story pulls you deeper into the weirdness. Can’t look away.

Instead of investing in a marriage ceremony, put that money into crypto, your future self will thank you.
Another way of saying "don't get married" 🤣
You can do a court marriage or just the traditional aspect without the elaborate ceremony that people usually do.
I'll be fine without the the marriage 😉
Buy BTC and then issue marriage bonds and collect fund from people by showing your fat BTC wallet.
Smart take. Marriage ceremonies can cost a fortune with little lasting value. Crypto, while risky, offers potential growth if you research well. I'd say allocate wisely and diversify—don't go all in on one asset.

Talking about new technologies, have you seen this electrical power plant in a 40 foot shipping container.
Pretty cool! Back at university, I specialized in alternative energy sources and my final project was on the underlying technology that they are showing on that video
Really? That's very cool. So what do you think, does this thing have some real potential? It sounds good to me.
I kind of live that stuff... you think it would be possible to make a smaller unit that would power a home or two?
Oh yea it has a lot of potential
In fact there are some plants that use similar (but not identical) technology being built already. I'll try to find the link I was checking out hte ohter day
As to whether its possible to make it small enough to power a house, I dont know...
Back when I was doing my research, it was only financially viable for higher output because the initial investment was quite large
But who knows... that was years ago and technology tends to make things cheaper over time so I wouldnt rule that out in the future
oh great, I wpuld live those links when you find them. Thanks. And the cost of it makes sense now that you've said that.

I can remember a TED from oh boy ... like more than 15 years ago, MIT prof sketching that thing out.
Super!
Totally - instead of setting up copper powerline somewhere, "just" equip each house or block or whatever with one those containers.
This kind of application would work wonders for a farm or a homestead! Now you can live wherever you want on the planet as long as there's enough sun!

As for the Data centers... it is the big ticket item. If they get a contract with X ai for example, that's a lot of units sold!
Plus it would help the power gid problem we're facing with all this ai everywhere 🙄
Yeah, just saying more and bigger planning would be more efficient, the modularity takes too much from the overall efficiency.
But just guessing, if market can't deliver you a solution, you have to huddle the options available.
Moar and smaller data center are might be more feasible with the units.
I see what you're saying. Tho making something modular gives both the producer and the consumer more options.
I don't really know.... and you're probably right about it taking too much away from the overall efficiency. It certainly takes a toll!

Understanding the Nature of Global Debt
Part 2/17:
At its core, debt is simply an agreement to repay borrowed money. While many associate debt with personal loans or credit cards, worldwide debt encompasses a far broader spectrum—spanning public, corporate, and individual borrowings.
Epidemiologists categorize these debts into three main groups:
Government debt (state debt)
Corporate debt
Household debt
As of the first quarter of 2025, the total global debt surpassed $324 trillion, illustrating a worrying upward trend.
Why Do Nations and Entities Borrow?
Part 3/17:
Borrowing is a strategic tool—governments, businesses, and individuals use it to finance growth, handle crises, or fund essential services. Governments borrow to fund military actions, economic stimulus, or social programs—all without immediately raising taxes or printing money. Companies issue bonds or take loans for expansion, while households take mortgages, student loans, or credit cards to meet their daily needs.
Part 4/17:
Part 5/17:
The 2008 global financial crisis led to trillions in government aid to stabilize banks and economies.
The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 pushed borrowing to unprecedented heights with massive stimulus measures.
While debt isn't inherently bad—in moderation, it can drive growth and fund productive investments—problems arise when debt spirals out of control, the economy stagnates, or interest costs grow faster than economies can handle.
The Major Players in the Global Debt Landscape
The United States
Part 6/17:
Japan
Part 7/17:
Who Owns the Debt?
Part 8/17:
In developed economies, most debt is held domestically by banks, pension funds, insurance firms, and central banks. For instance:
The Bank of Japan owns over 50% of Japan’s government debt.
The Federal Reserve and US pension funds own nearly 80% of US debt, with foreign holdings surpassing 20% (notably Japan, China, with the UK also as a significant holder).
Interestingly, new actors such as crypto stablecoin issuers—like USDT and USDC—have emerged as major buyers of US government bonds, supporting government borrowing silently.
Part 9/17:
In developing countries, the situation is more precarious: a larger share of their debt is owed to foreign investors, multilateral institutions like the IMF and World Bank, or foreign governments. These countries are highly vulnerable to shifts in global capital flows and interest rates, risking debt crises more acutely.
How Debt Is Issued and Managed
Governments typically issue bonds—promises to repay borrowed sums with interest—each with varying durations. Most do not fully repay their debts but roll over old bonds by issuing new ones, allowing debt to grow unless economic growth outpaces it.
Part 10/17:
Some countries enforce financial repression, requiring banks and institutions to hold government bonds, creating demand even when yields are below inflation—effectively managing debt through suppressed market forces.
Private sectors, including corporations and households, finance themselves through bonds, loans, mortgages, and credit cards. These interrelated borrowing mechanisms create a convoluted system where each sector both influences and depends on others.
Why Has Global Debt Reached Record Levels?
Several long-term factors contribute:
Demographics
Part 11/17:
Crisis-driven Borrowing
Part 12/17:
Part 13/17:
High interest rates and sluggish growth make debt servicing more challenging, equivalent to a "debt trap." Although outright sovereign default remains rare among developed nations owing in their own currencies, the risk is not zero—especially if investor confidence erodes.
Will the Debt Ever Be Fully Paid?
Historically, countries have preferred to manage and roll over debt rather than clear it outright. As long as growth keeps pace with debt accumulation, ratios can stabilize. But if growth slows or reverses, trouble looms.
Projected Trends and What Lies Ahead
Part 14/17:
Looking forward 10-20 years, several factors threaten to fuel existing debt levels:
Increasing social security and healthcare costs due to aging populations.
Ongoing infrastructure needs—from transport to digital systems.
The geopolitical arms race, requiring higher defense and technological spending.
Rising interest rates globally, adding to debt servicing costs.
Meanwhile, economic growth may be hindered by a slowdown in productivity, subdued by debt burdens and demographic shifts.
Potential Solutions and Strategies
Part 15/17:
Tax reforms or spending cuts are politically difficult, with politicians reluctant to propose higher taxes or austerity.
Technological advances like AI and automation offer hope for increased productivity, but their economic impacts are still uncertain.
What Can You Do?
For individuals, awareness and flexibility are key:
Watch your real living costs, beyond official inflation figures.
Prepare for rising borrowing costs—especially if you have variable loans or mortgages.
Stay informed about technological and regulatory changes that could affect your finances.
Emphasize saving and debt management to weather potential shocks.
Conclusion: An Uncertain Future Built on a Web of Debt
Part 16/17:
The world’s economic system is intricately woven with debt—more than enough to raise concerns about stability. While outright defaults among developed nations are unlikely, the enormous debt burden creates risks of financial instability, inflation, and economic slowdown.
History shows that markets and policies can adapt—debt can be restructured, and systems can evolve—but not without challenges. Central banks and governments are caught in delicate balancing acts—trying to sustain growth, manage inflation, and keep confidence high—all while navigating a mountain of accumulated debt.
Part 17/17:
Whether this system will sustain, require a reset, or transform remains to be seen. What's clear is that understanding these dynamics is crucial for preparing for the uncertain economic landscape of the coming decades.

Part 2/13:
Part 3/13:
Part 4/13:
Part 5/13:
Part 6/13:
Part 7/13:
Another structural change involves the dynamics of crypto staking, lending, and derivatives. Whales and institutional participants often leverage their holdings by borrowing against BTC and ETH, especially through DeFi platforms, to buy altcoins. Recent reports, including those from Galaxy Digital, highlight a sharp increase in DeFi loans using USDC to leverage positions in ETH and BTC. These activities serve to increase overall market liquidity and are likely to intensify with the inflow of ETF capital.
Regulatory Landscape and Future Impact
Part 8/13:
Part 9/13:
Attention as the Bottleneck
Part 10/13:
An often-overlooked aspect of the current market is attention. Unlike previous cycles, where abundant free time during global lockdowns fueled prolonged rallies and niche rotation, today’s investors have less time to research or monitor markets. Recent rallies in 2024 have lasted only 2–3 months, similar to the short-lived surges of 2017.
This diminished capacity for sustained attention means that market movements could be shorter and more intense, with faster rotation between assets. The success of a crypto project now heavily depends on high traction and visibility since many tokens can pump quickly but also fade just as fast.
Accessibility and the Role of Inclusivity
Part 11/13:
Part 12/13:
Introduction of bank-issued stablecoins,
Increased tokenization of real-world assets,
Substantial involvement from major institutions, and
Shorter, more intense market cycles driven by attention dynamics.
Part 13/13:

Part 2/12:
The SPS DAO was launched in July 2021, with a white paper outlining a plan to distribute 3 billion SPS tokens over approximately five years. The initial goal was to release and distribute these tokens steadily until July 2026. However, as the system approaches that date, it becomes clear that the community must strategize around what happens next—how to maintain incentives, reward participants, and ensure ongoing sustainability without indefinite inflation.
Part 3/12:
Part 4/12:
A recurring theme is the need for a flexible, yet structured, plan that can adapt over time. This involves establishing "boundary conditions" for rewards—defining an exponential decay model that gradually tapers reward pools, ensuring they diminish smoothly rather than abruptly.
One participant expressed that having an agreed-upon model that extends reward sustainability for at least 3-4 years is critical. This provides stability, prevents community panic, and allows for strategic planning around incentives such as staking, tournaments, and reward cards.
The Proposed Solution: Exponential Decay of Rewards
Part 5/12:
Part 6/12:
This approach aims to avoid abrupt reward stop-offs, stretching the reward system over multiple years, and providing a sustainable pathway forward.
Managing Reward Pools & Incentives: Balancing Immediate and Long-term Rewards
Participants highlight that different pools—ranked rewards, land, tournaments, brawls—have varying levels of funding and utility. Moving to a decay model involves strategic decisions about where to allocate reduced rewards and whether to introduce new incentives.
For example:
Part 7/12:
Ranking Rewards: Could see significant reductions but might be supplemented later with voucher-based incentives or skins.
Land and Brawls: Might currently be sufficiently funded to handle a minor reduction without major impact.
Staking Rewards: Particularly sensitive, as the community's staking behavior is driven by ROI expectations. A sharp reduction could cause unstaking and reduce active participation.
There’s consensus that the DAO can introduce new reward types—such as skins, NFTs, or voucher benefits—to compensate for lower SPS rewards, encouraging continued engagement.
The Importance of Community and DAO Involvement
Part 8/12:
Part 9/12:
Part 10/12:
Next steps include:
Part 11/12:
Gathering further feedback from the wider community.
Drafting formal proposals based on the outlined models.
Implementing a pilot or phased approach to test the decay and incentive mechanisms.
The urgency to act is recognized—delaying exacerbates risks of instability and reduces stakeholder confidence. As one participant summarized, having a well-thought-out, flexible plan will position the DAO for sustained growth, value, and community engagement.
Conclusion
Part 12/12:
Navigating the post-inflationary future of the SPS DAO requires deliberate planning, community involvement, and flexible models that adapt to evolving conditions. By implementing a strategic, exponential reward decay and supplementing it with innovative incentive structures, the DAO is positioning itself for long-term success, ensuring that rewards remain sustainable and stakeholders stay motivated.
Maintaining an open dialogue, fostering collaboration across the community and development team, and making data-driven decisions are central to this journey—an exciting future for the DAO as it evolves beyond its initial distribution phase.

Sucks but arguments in court must even weaker. You can get parole on a murder?
Such paroles are not uncommon. Of course, it often depends on the nature of murder, identities of killer and/or victims. Generally speaking, if a crime is abhorrent or high profile, chances for parole are usually slim to none. If the killer or victim are ordinary people, it is more likely that the parole will be given.
How it would play out in this case is anyone's guess.

Most memecoins are hype-driven with little substance, often leading to pump-and-dump schemes. However, a few like Dogecoin have built community and some merchant adoption over time. Still, it’s a speculative space—tread carefully
Did you listen to the space?
99% scams.
A few could become legitimate projects if the infrastructure is built around it afterwards but when they launch they have nothing.
Agreed.

Getting your SURGE payouts as LSTR is auto-DCA'ing into LSTR every week
All of us who have been doing it are making 30%+ APR on our SURGE dividends
The flywheel is spinning. Jump on, it's a great time!

I keep looking at this data in astonishment
If you're not on the LSTR & SURGE train when you see this, idk what you're doing
Wish I would have picked up more LSTR back in the day would be loaded right now lol
I’m ready to stake some more Leo. Septemeber 23rd is fast approaching.

in the lstr/leo pool you can get 30 leo per lstr. Back in the day I was trading 18 leo per lstr. Almost doubled.
Perfect time to move some back so I can stake it for daily usdc
That's a solid trade, doubling the value like that. Staking for daily USDC is a smart move—let your assets work for you. Consistency in these plays builds wealth over time.
yes. Huge goal is the daily usdc.
That's the right focus. Building up to daily USDC payouts creates a steady passive income stream. Stick to the process, and over time, those small gains compound into real wealth.

Now I turn my sights to LSTR!
Can’t have enough!
Congrats! 👏
The SURGE presale is now 51.8% sold out with over 10% selling out in the last 24 hours
The presale is accelerating just as the LSTR presale did. LSTR presale buyers are up more than 350% since the presale concluded just 6 weeks ago
Meanwhile, LEO Per Share (LPS) is rising rapidly toward 30 LPS
Your last chance to SURGE is now! When the presale ends and we look at a page like this for SURGE and see that presale buyers are up double digit %'s, will you say we didn't tell you so?

SURGE might be sold out!

Part 1/13:
Part 2/13:
Initially, Duscus had no interest in acting. Inspired by the film Shaolin Temple, he dreamed of becoming a writer or even a Buddhist monk. It was only serendipity that shifted his path when, while teaching martial arts in San Francisco, an assistant director spotted him. This encounter led to a minor role in Wayne Wang's Dim Sum: A Little Bit of Heart in 1985—though that part was cut, it ignited his passion for acting.
Struggling for Recognition
Part 3/13:
In the mid-80s, Duscus faced a stiff uphill battle. Despite his natural talent and on-screen charisma, he spent five years auditioning without success. Eventually, he landed his first significant role in Bioman, a show reminiscent of the Power Rangers and other tokusatsu series, about a team of freedom fighters led by martial artist Victor Lee. Unfortunately, Bioman wasn't picked up by networks, meaning Duscus's first real opportunity to shine was still on hold.
Part 4/13:
His next roles included Angel Town, American Samurai, and the cult hit Only the Strong in 1993, which showcased his martial arts prowess. Only the Strong became a cult classic, reflecting the 80s and 90s fascination with unruly students being disciplined by stern teachers via martial arts. The film is notable for featuring what remains the only Hollywood movie to showcase Capoeira throughout, highlighting Duscus's agility. Despite his talent, the film didn't propel him into mainstream stardom.
A Series of Misfires and Cult Classics
Part 5/13:
Following Only the Strong, Duscus starred in other straight-to-video projects such as Double Dragon, Redemption, Kickboxer 5, and Deadly Past. While these films demonstrated his skill, they didn't make a significant impact commercially. Hollywood saw potential in him, and he was cast by French director Christophe Gans in Crying Freeman, a cult hit that gained praise for its fight sequences and Duscus's charm. However, this wasn't a mainstream breakthrough.
Part 6/13:
The big break seemed imminent when Hollywood invested $40 million in Island of Dr. Moreau as a star vehicle for Val Kilmer, Marlon Brando, and others. Unfortunately, production chaos—including Brando’s unpredictable behavior and weather delays—turned the film into one of the worst productions ever, with Duscus appearing briefly in a minor role. The movie flopped spectacularly, leaving Duscus’s Hollywood ambitions unfulfilled.
The Cult of Drive and Its Timing
Part 7/13:
In 1998, Duscus starred in Drive, a high-octane Hong Kong-style action film. The movie had all the ingredients of a mainstream hit: fast-paced sequences, martial arts, and a talented leading man. However, it was released three years early—before the late 90s/early 2000s surge of martial arts blockbusters like The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Had it been released later, it might have achieved global success; instead, it went straight to DVD and TV, gaining a cult following but missing mainstream accolades.
Part 8/13:
Despite the missed opportunity, Duscus continued to work in France and Europe, appearing in Brotherhood of the Wolf, which was a major international hit, and star roles in movies like Cradle to the Grave alongside Jet Li, which grossed over $56 million worldwide. His ability to adapt to different roles and his screen presence kept him afloat within the niche of martial arts cinema.
Career Decline and Surprising Detours
Part 9/13:
The turning point in Duscus's career arguably came with his participation in Iron Chef America in 2005. While initially baffling, his role as a host of a culinary competition marked a significant departure from martial arts and acting. Ironically, this gig effectively ended his Hollywood acting career. He later expressed confusion and surprise about being cast for a cooking show, emphasizing that he thought his talents laid elsewhere.
Part 10/13:
He continued working in television, portraying the lead villain in Hawaii Five-0, appearing in the Mortal Kombat web series as Kong Lao, and guest roles in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Netflix’s Wu Assassins. His participation in John Wick: Chapter 3 in 2019 was a return to the spotlight, delivering a memorable villain that critics noted for his screen presence.
Reflection: Why Didn't He Achieve Greater Stardom?
Part 11/13:
Part 12/13:
Part 13/13:
And now, with his voice in Blue-Eyed Samurai and appearances in popular series, Duscus remains active and appreciated—proof that sometimes, true success is simply doing what you love.
