In the next 25 days there will be two important events in the Splinterverse:

• on November 14, Phase 1.5 of the Lands will begin.
• on December 5, 2023 the new Rebellion set will be released, Untamed cards will come out of Modern Format, and Rebellion cards can be used in Wild and Modern Format.

I am interested in both events because:

• I enjoy playing Splinterlands battles and have been playing Splinterlands daily for more than 4 years
• I have 3 land plots

Land Phase 1.5 is Coming Up!

In the Splinterlands Town Hall Summary - November 6th, 2023! Splinterlands announced the date of the start of Lands Phase 1.5: November 14, 2023

This date was also confirmed 2 days ago in the post The Journey to Uncover the Secret of Praetoria Begins Soon!

The start of phase 1.5 will start staking DEC tokens and using worker cards in land plots to produce resources.
Subsequently, other features will be implemented according to the priority list that you can read in the screenshot below.

With the start of phase 1.5 of lands DEC tokens and Cards will acquire a new and important use case because:

• in each lands plots it will be possible to use up to 5 cards (staking) that will become Worker Cards
• each worker card will need a certain quantity of staked DEC tokens to produce the resources

With the start of phase 1.5 the DEC token may reach its soft peg because it is already very close as you can see from the prospectus I took from the home page of Splintercards.

With the start of phase 1.5 of lands the cards that have a Production Point attribute high may increase their demand in the market and therefore their price may also increase.

For this reason if you have lands plots and have not yet chosen cards to use as worker cards I recommend that you do so now or at least before November 14.

To easily and quickly view your cards that have the highest Production Point attribute you can use the My Cards section of Peakmonsters:

• you need to go to the My Cards section of Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/).
• then you have to click on VIEW MODE = BULK
• then you need to click on PP twice to sort your cards by the highest PP attribute.

If you want to view cards for sale on the market that have the Best PP/COST RATIO you need to:

• go to the BUY section of Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/market)
• click on VIEW MODE = COMPARE
• choose Compare by Best PP/COST RATIO

Consider, however, that a card that has the best PP/Cost may not also be the card that has the highest PP because the maximum achievable PP attribute of a card depends on the rarity and level of the card and also on the set to which it belongs (see the following two screenshots).

Summarizing: each land plot will produce an hourly amount of resources (grain) that will be influenced::

• by the rarity of the plot
• by the land plot type
• by the edition and the level of the cards used as worker cards
• by the amount of DEC put into staking for each worker cards.
• by the titles of the player
• by the totems used

My Rebellion Buying Strategy (Update)

There are only 7 days left until the end of the Rebellion Presale and of the 500K Rebellion packs available for purchase on the first day there are just over 178K packs left.

I currently play in the Gold+ leagues of the Modern Format and when the Rebellion set will be released (Dec. 5, 2023) I would like to continue playing in the leagues and format I play in today without receding to the lower leagues.

To achieve this playing goal of mine I will have to compensate for the inability to use my favorite Untamed cards in the Modern Format including my favorite summoner card (Byzantine Kitty) by purchasing cards from the Rebellion set that I will consider more useful in battle for me.

Therefore, I am very interested in the cards from the Rebellion set and am very interested in the Dual Element Summoners cards that will introduce a strategic element in-game (= + fun) and should also be a contrasting element for bots in the Wild Format.

My buying strategy for the Rebellion set is:

• buy Rebellion packs before December 5.
• increase the amount of DEC in my possession in order to purchase the cards in the Rebellion set that I will most like and consider most useful in battle.

To date, I have purchased 20 Rebellion packs from Hive Engine/TribalDex.

Until December 5, I will monitor the market at regular intervals and calculate the difference in dollar cost of 1 Rebellion pack between Splinterlands Shop and Hive Engine/TribalDex.

Whenever I find a sale price less than $3 per pack I will purchase additional packs to those I have already purchased.

Today I performed this calculation again.

In the table below you can see the current market values of HIVE, VOUCHER and DEC tokens (November 10, 2023).

Based on today's market values and based on the different purchase options the cost of a Rebellion pack is today November 10, 2023 of:

• 4000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER = $4,0003 if purchased from the Splinterlands Shop.
• 7.97 SWAP.HIVE = 2.9720$ if purchased on Hive Engine/Tribaldex

The cost difference between the two best purchase options has increased since the calculation I shared in my previous post and is now $1.0275.

I like both of the promo cards that will be distributed among the players who will participate in the presale but I consider the price difference I found today an opportunity for me because with the savings I get from buying Rebellion packs from Hive Engine I hope to be able to buy more promo cards from the market at a later time than the guaranteed number I could get by participating in the presale (Note: this is not financial advice but my personal assessment that could turn out to be wrong in the future).

Today I converted 30 HBDs to SWAP.HIVE using the useful and fast SWAPS service of Hive Keychain and bought another 10 Rebellion packs from Hive Engine.

I spent 79.80 SWAP.HIVE and now have 30 Rebellion packs that I will open on December 5, 2023.

Splinterlands and GAM3 Awards Challenge

The GAM3S.GG site has organized an Awards Challenge for Web 3.0 games.

Yesterday I participated:

• I nominated Splinterlands
• I wrote a short review about Splinterlands and assigned a rating (obviously 10 :)

Participating in this contest is very easy because the steps to follow are shown and explained very well in the post Splinterlands GAM3 Awards Challenge! in which you can also find @zaku's challenge participation with all the steps he took.

I took a few minutes to give my contribution and my vote.
If you are also a Splinterlands player like me I suggest you to participate because promoting Splinterlands outside of Hive is beneficial for the whole Splinterlands ecosystem and also for the Hive blockchain because Splinterlands besides being a beautiful game is a Hive based game!

I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my collection of usable cards in the Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the start of the general sale of the Rebellion set, phase 1.5 of lands, and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

Nei prossimi 25 giorni ci saranno due importanti eventi nello Splinterverse:

• il 14 novembre inizierà la fase 1.5 delle Lands
• il 5 dicembre 2023 sarà rilasciato il nuovo set Rebellion, le carte Untamed usciranno dal Modern Format e le carte Rebellion potranno essere utilizzate nel Wild e nel Modern Format.

L'inizio della fase 1.5 darà il via allo staking dei token DEC e all'utilizzo delle worker cards nei land plots per produrre le risorse.
Successivamente saranno implementate altre funzionalità secondo la lista di priorità che puoi leggere nello screenshot seguente.

Con l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands le Carte e i token DEC acquisiranno un nuovo e importante caso d'uso perchè:

• in ogni land plots sarà possibile utilizzare fino a 5 carte (staking) che diventeranno Worker Cards
• ogni worker card avrà bisogno di un certo quantitativo di token DEC staked per produrre le risorse

Con l'inizio della fase 1.5 il token DEC potrebbe raggiungere il suo soft peg perchè è già molto vicino come puoi vedere dal prospetto che ho preso dalla home page di Splintercards.

Con l'inizio della fase 1.5 dell lands le carte che hanno un attributo Production Point alto potrebbero aumentare la loro richiesta sul mercato e quindi anche il loro prezzo potrebbe aumentare.

Per questo motivo se hai dei land plots e non hai ancora scelto le carte da utilizzare come worker cards ti consiglio di farlo adesso o almeno prima del 14 novembre.

Per visualizzare facilmente e velocemente le tue carte che hanno l'attributo Production Point più alto puoi utilizzare la sezione My Cards di Peakmonsters:

• devi andare nella sezione My Cards di Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/)
• poi devi cliccare su VIEW MODE = BULK
• poi devi cliccare su PP due volte per ordinare le tue carte in base all'attributo PP più alto.

Se vuoi visualizzare le carte in vendita sul mercato che hanno il Best PP/COST RATIO devi:

• andare nella sezione BUY di Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/market)
• cliccare su VIEW MODE = COMPARE
• scegliere Compare by Best PP/COST RATIO

Considera però che una carta che ha il miglior PP/Cost potrebbe non essere anche la carta che ha il PP più alto perchè l'attributo PP massimo raggiungibile di una carta dipende dalla rarità e dal livello della carta e anche dal set a cui appartiene (vedi i due screenshots seguenti).

Sintetizzando ogni land plot produrrà una quantità oraria di risorse (grano) che sarà influenzata::

• dalla rarità del plot
• dalla tipologia del terreno
• dall'edizione e il livello delle carte utilizzate come worker cards
• dalla quantità di DEC messa in staking per ogni worker cards.
• dai titoli del giocatore
• dai totem

My Rebellion Buying Strategy (Update)

Mancano solo 7 giorni alla fine della Rebellion Presale e dei 500K Rebellion packs disponibili all'acquisto il primo giorno sono rimasti poco più di 178K pacchi.

Attualmente gioco nelle leghe Gold+ del Modern Format e quando il set Rebellion sarà rilasciato (5 dicembre 2023) mi piacerebbe continuare a giocare nelle leghe e nel formato in cui gioco oggi senza retrocedere nelle leghe inferiori.

Per raggiungere questo mio obiettivo di gioco dovrò compensare l'impossibilità di utilizzare le mie carte Untamed preferite nel Modern Format tra cui la mia carta evocatore preferita (Byzantine Kitty) acquistando le carte del set Rebellion che considererò più utili in battaglia per me.

Per questo motivo sono molto interessato alle carte del set Rebellion e sono molto interessato alle carte Dual Element Summoners che introdurranno un elemento strategico in-game (= + divertimento) e dovrebbero anche rappresentare un elemento di contrasto per i bots nel Wild Format.

La mia strategia di acquisto per il set Rebellion è:

• acquistare pacchi Rebellion prima del 5 dicembre
• aumentare il quantitativo di DEC in mio possesso per poter acquistare le carte del set Rebellion che più mi piaceranno e che considererò più utili in battaglia.

Fino ad oggi ho acquistato 20 Rebellion packs da Hive Engine/TribalDex

Fino al 5 dicembre monitorerò il mercato a intervalli di tempo regolari e calcolerò la differenza del costo in dollari di 1 pacco Rebellion tra lo Shop di Splinterlands e Hive Engine/TribalDex.

Ogni volta che troverò un prezzo di vendita inferiore a 3$ per pacco acquisterò dei pacchi aggiuntivi a quelli che ho già acquistato.

Oggi ho effettuato di nuovo questo calcolo.

Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere i valori di mercato attuali dei token HIVE, VOUCHER e DEC (10 novembre 2023).

In base ai valori di mercato odierni e in base alle diverse opzioni di acquisto il costo di un pacco Rebellion è oggi 10 novembre 2023 di:

• 4000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER = 4.0003$ se acquistato dallo Shop di Splinterlands
• 7.97 SWAP.HIVE = 2.9720$ se acquistato su Hive Engine/Tribaldex

La differenza di costo tra le due migliori opzioni di acquisto è cresciuta rispetto al calcolo che ho condiviso nel mio precedente post e oggi è di 1.0275$.

Mi piacciono entrambe le carte promo che saranno distribuite tra i giocatori che parteciperanno alla presale ma considero la differenza di prezzo che ho trovato oggi un occasione per me perchè con il risparmio che ottengo comprando i pacchi Rebellion da Hive Engine spero di riuscire a comprare un numero maggiore di carte promo dal mercato in un momento successivo rispetto al numero garantito che ottengo partecipando alla presale (non è un consiglio finanziario ma la mia personale valutazione che potrebbe risultare sbagliata in futuro).

Oggi ho convertito 30 HBD in SWAP.HIVE utilizzando il comodo e veloce servizio SWAPS di Hive Keychain e ho comprato altri 10 pacchi Rebellion da Hive Engine.

Ho speso 79.80 SWAP.HIVE e adesso ho 30 pacchi Rebellion che aprirò il 5 dicembre 2023.

Se anche tu sei un giocatore di Splinterlands come me ti consiglio di partecipare perchè promuovere Splinterlands al di fuori di Hive è utile per tutto l'ecosistema di Splinterlands e anche per la blockchain di Hive perchè Splinterlands oltre ad essere un bel gioco è un Hive based game!

Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, spero che i bots siano eliminati completamente da Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format dove non ci sono i bots e aspetto con molta eccitazione l'inizio della general sale del set Rebellion, la fase 1.5 delle lands e le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands
