There are just over 10 days until the release of the new Splinterlands card set: the Rebellion set!

The Rebellion presale ended with a result that I honestly did not expect and that I really consider very positive because selling more than 441K Rebellion packs in a general market situation that is still very far from a bull run situation is in my opinion an exceptional result even considering that Splinterlands is a Hive game that is more than 5 years old.

I am a Splinterlands player since 2019 and until today I have played almost 30K battles without ever using bots because I enjoy playing Splinterlands.

The release of the Rebellion set will produce effects and the most positive effect for a player like me will be the newness effect because the introduction of new cards with new abilities and new stats will change the current game equilibrium and increase my enjoyment.

With the release of the Rebellion set mainly the equilibrium of play in Modern Format will change because Untamed cards can no longer be used in Modern Format but only in Wild Format.

Starting December 5, I will not be able to use my Untamed cards in Modern Format and if I want to continue playing in the Modern Format Gold leagues I will have to replace the Untamed cards that I currently use often in battle with some cards from the Rebellion set.

Today out of curiosity I used the My Cards section of Peakmonsters to see:

• the market value of my collection of cards from the Untamed edition
• the cards I have recently used in game battles.

In my collection I have 237 Untamed cards = 2396 BCX that have an estimated market value = 1365$.

I took note of this value and also took note of the value of the Untamed cards I use the most in Modern Format to see what impact the release of Rebellion cards will have on the market value of Untamed cards.

My personal prediction is that if the number of active players remains as it is now, the Rebellion set will produce a sharp decrease in the value of Untamed cards that are of little use in battle.

The lands phase 1.5 release might help but only for untamed cards that will have a good PP/cost ratio

I started to put many of my Untamed cards up for sale after the announcement of the Rebellion set release date but I did not sell all the cards I had put up for sale that went off the sale market after 30 days.

Therefore, today I put all my Untamed cards that I consider to be of little use in battle for sale hoping that they will be purchased before the release of the new set.

Fortunately, the battle strength of my collection of cards usable in Modern Format should not be greatly diminished because today I have verified thanks to the sites Peakmonsters, Splintertracker and Splexx.gg that there are not many Untamed cards I use during battles.

For example in the last 24 hours I have used only 12 Untamed edition cards in battle as you can see in the screenshot below.

The card I will most regret not being able to use will be Byzantine Kitty which is by far my favorite summoner card and is also the summoner card I use the most in High mana battles.

Logic tells me to sell Byzantine Kitty but my heart does not because it is a card I have longed for and I was able to purchase it after a long time since its release.
I still remember my happiness when I was able to use it for the first time in battle and from the start my game results improved.

I have decided to keep Byzantine Kitty hoping that one day bots will be banned from Wild Format as well and I will be able to go back to using her against real players.

After December 5 I will evaluate for my Byzantine Kitty whether to:

• put her up for rent
• use her as a worker card in a land plot of mine
• delegating her to an alt account run by a bot.

I hope that bots will soon be eliminated from Wild Format as well, but if this does not happen I will also be forced to consider the option of using a bot for the first time.

When the Rebellion set is released my game goal will be to be able to continue playing stably in the Modern Format Gold leagues where I currently play.

To achieve this goal of mine:

• I will need luck when opening my Rebellion packs.
• I will also need to be skillful in immediately selling Rebellion cards that I will consider of little use in battle, and I will need to choose carefully which Rebellion cards to purchase and upgrade.

In the posts Rebellion Sneak Peeks and Rebellion Sneak Peeks No.2 splinterlands revealed the abilities and stats of 10 cards of the Rebellion set.

Obviously it's still early to make evaluations because the cards don't have a market value yet but the cards that might be most useful to me considering that I play in Gold leagues and also considering possible combinations with cards of the Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers editions that I have in my NFTs collection are:

• Infernal Firestorm

Infernal Firestorm is an interesting card for me but only from level 3 (magic attack = 3) and particularly because it has the Flank ability.

The Flank ability will allow a second tank to be used in the second position and will produce the same effect that the summoner Possibilus The Wyse produces and that is to allow a card with very strong stats without the starting ability to attack from the second position to be able to do so.

I immediately thought of possible combinations such as:

• Infernal Firestorm + Grum Flameblade
• Infernal Firestorm + Forgotten One
• Infernal Firestorm + Arkemis The Bear

• Infernal Firestorm + Legionnaire Alvar

• Anasth Soothsayer

Anasth Soothsayer is an interesting card for me but only starting at level 4 even though it is level 6 that would give me the most help in Gold leagues.
The Look Out ability will be very useful against opponents who use cards with the Sneak,Snipe and Opportunity abilities.

I immediately imagined using this card in combination with:
Algor Longtail, Oshuur Constantia, River Hellondale and Merdaali Guardian.

• Redwyrm Dragon

I also like Redwyrm Dragon because it will be a very useful card in battles that have the Earthquake, Noxious Fumees and Heavy Hitters battle rulesets.

When I can no longer use my Bringhton Bloom summoner this card may be my first choice in battles with the Earthquake ruleset.

I also like the Moxian Rebel and Runesser Sevaya cards although I would only use them in combination with precise summoners (Moxian Rebel + Obsidian) and only in certain battle's rulesets

But the cards in the Rebellion set that I am most interested in are the Summoner cards.
In fact the Dual Element Summoners will introduce a new strategic element in-game (= + fun) and should also be a contrasting element for bots in the Wild Format.

I really like both Zeddika and Prophet Rosa but will wait to learn about the abilities of the other summoners in the Rebellion set to choose my main purchase goals.

I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my collection of usable cards in the Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the start of the general sale of the Rebellion set, phase 1.5 of lands, and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

Splinterlands Rebellion: Considerazioni Varie

Mancano poco più di 10 giorni al rilascio del nuovo set di carte di Splinterlands: il set Rebellion!

La Rebellion presale è terminata con un risultato che io sinceramente non mi aspettavo e che considero davvero molto positivo perchè vendere più di 441K Rebellion packs in una situazione di mercato generale ancora molto lontana da una situazione di bull run è secondo me un risultato eccezzionale anche considerando che Splinterlands è un Hive game che ha più di 5 anni di vita.

Sono un giocatore di Splinterlands dal 2019 e fino ad oggi ho giocato quasi 30K battaglie senza mai usare bots perchè giocare a Splinterlands mi piace.

Il rilascio del set Rebellion produrrà degli effetti e l'effetto più positivo per un giocatore come me sarà l'effetto novità perchè l'introduzione di nuove carte con nuove abilità e nuove statistiche cambierà gli attuali equilibri di gioco e aumenterà il mio divertimento.

Con il rilascio del set Rebellion cambieranno soprattutto gli equilibri di gioco nel Modern Format perchè le carte Untamed non potranno essere più utilizzate nel Modern Format ma solo nel Wild Format.

A partire dal 5 dicembre non potrò utilizzare le mie carte Untamed nel Modern Format e se voglio continuare a giocare nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format dovrò rimpiazzare le carte Untamed che attualmente uso spesso in battaglia con alcune carte del set Rebellion.

Oggi per curiosità ho utilizzato la sezione My Cards di Peakmonsters per vedere:

• il valore di mercato della mia collezione di carte dell'edizione Untamed
• le carte che ho usato recentemente nelle battaglie di gioco.

Nella mia collezione ho 237 carte Untamed = 2396 BCX che hanno un valore di mercato stimato = 1365$.

Ho preso nota di questo valore e ho preso nota anche del valore delle carte Untamed che uso di più nel Modern Format per verificare l'impatto che avrà il rilascio delle carte Rebellion sul valore di mercato delle carte Untamed.

La mia personale previsione è che, se il numero di giocatori attivi rimarrà quello attuale, il set Rebellion produrrà una forte diminuzione di valore delle carte Untamed poco utili in battaglia.

Ho inziato a mettere in vendita molte mie carte Untamed dopo l'annuncio della data del rilascio del set Rebellion ma non ho venduto tutte le carte che avevo messo in vendita che dopo 30 giorni sono uscite dal mercato di vendita.

Per questo motivo oggi ho messo in vendita tutte le mie carte Untamed che considero poco utili in battaglia sperando che vengano acquistate prima del rilascio del nuovo set.

La forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format non dovrebbe subire una forte diminuzione perchè oggi ho verificato grazie ai siti Peakmonsters, Splintertracker e Splexx.gg che fortunatamente non sono molte le carte Untamed che utilizzo in battaglia.

Ad esempio nelle ultime 24 ore ho utilizzato in battaglia solo 12 carte dell'edizione Untamed come puoi vedere nello screenshot seguente.

La carta che più mi dispiacerà non poter utilizzare sarà Byzantine Kitty che è in assoluto la mia carta evocatore preferita ed è anche la carta evocatore che uso di più nelle High mana battles.

La logica mi dice di vendere Byzantine Kitty ma il mio cuore no perchè è una carta che ho tanto desiderato e sono riuscito ad acquistarla dopo molto tempo dal suo rilascio.
Ricordo ancora la mia felicità quando ho potuto utilizzarla per la prima volta in battaglia e fin da subito i miei risultati di gioco sono migliorati.

Ho deciso di tenere Byzantine Kitty sperando che un giorno i bots saranno vietati anche dal Wild Format e potrò tornare ad utilizzarla contro i giocatori reali.

Dopo il 5 dicembre valuterò per la mia Byzantine Kitty se:

• metterla a noleggio
• utilizzarla come worker card in un mio land plot
• delegarla ad un alt account gestito da un bot

Spero che i bots siano presto eliminati anche dal Wild Format ma se questo non avverrà sarò costretto anche a valutare l'opzione di utilizzare per la prima volta un bot.

Quando sarà rilasciato il set Rebellion il mio obiettivo di gioco sarà di riuscire a continuare a giocare stabilmente nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format dove gioco attualmente.

Per raggiungere questo mio obiettivo:

• avrò bisogno di fortuna quando aprirò i miei pacchi Rebellion
• dovrò essere anche abile a vendere subito le carte Rebellion che considererò poco utili in battaglia e dovrò scegliere con attenzione le carte Rebellion da acquistare e potenziare.

Nei post Rebellion Sneak Peeks e Rebellion Sneak Peeks No.2 splinterlands ha rivelato le abilità e le statistiche di 10 carte del set Rebellion.

Ovviamente è ancora presto per fare valutazioni perchè le carte non hanno ancora un valore di mercato ma le carte che potrebbero essermi utili di più considerando che gioco nelle leghe Gold e considerando anche le possibili combinazioni con le carte delle edizioni Chaos Legion e Riftwatchers che ho nella mia collezione di NFTs sono:

• Infernal Firestorm

Infernal Firestorm è una carta interessante per me ma solo a partire dal livello 3 (attacco magico = 3) e in particolare perchè ha l'abilità Flank.

L'abilità Flank permetterà di utilizzare un secondo tank in seconda posizione e produrrà lo stesso effetto che produce l'evocatore Possibilus The Wyse e cioè quello di utilizzare una carta con statistiche molto forti che però non ha l'abilità di partenza di attaccare dalla seconda posizione.

Ho subito pensato a delle possibili combinazioni come ad esempio:

• Infernal Firestorm + Grum Flameblade
• Infernal Firestorm + Forgotten One
• Infernal Firestorm + Arkemis The Bear

• Infernal Firestorm + Legionnaire Alvar

• Anasth Soothsayer

Anasth Soothsayer è una carta interessante per me ma solo a partire dal livello 4 anche se è il livello 6 che mi darebbe più aiuto nelle leghe Gold.
L'abilità Look Out sarà molto utile contro avversari che usano carte con le abilità Sneak,Snipe e Opportunity.

Ho subito immaginato di usare questa carta in combinazione con:
Algor Longtail, Oshuur Constantia, River Hellondale e Merdaali Guardian.

• Redwyrm Dragon

Mi piace anche Redwyrm Dragon perchè sarà una carta molto utile nelle battaglie che hanno le regole di battaglia Earthquake, Noxious Fumees e Heavy Hitters.

Quando non potrò più usare il mio evocatore Bringhton Bloom questa carta potrebbe essere una mia prima scelta nelle battaglie con la ruleset Earthquake.

Mi piacciono anche le carte Moxian Rebel e Runesser Sevaya anche se le utilizzerei solo in combinazione con precisi evocatori (Moxian Rebel + Obsidian) e solo in determinate battle's rulesets

Ma le carte del set Rebellion a cui sono più interessato sono le carte Evocatore.
Infatti i Dual Element Summoners introdurranno un nuovo elemento strategico in-game (= + divertimento) e dovrebbero anche rappresentare un elemento di contrasto per i bots nel Wild Format.

Mi piacciono molto sia Zeddika che Prophet Rosa ma per scegliere i miei obiettivi principali di acquisto aspetterò di conoscere le abilità degli altri evocatori del set Rebellion.

Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, spero che i bots siano eliminati completamente da Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format dove non ci sono i bots e aspetto con molta eccitazione l'inizio della general sale del set Rebellion, la fase 1.5 delle lands e le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands.
