New to the game and Giveaways.

Hello this is my first post here. I'm still learning and I'm fairly new to Splinterlands and Peakd. I wanted to try and do a giveaway while also asking people for some tips about the game and Peakd. Why join a guild? What is a good way to power up? Is land worth investing in? Leave a comment below with your hive username and, "count me in". in the comments. Joining Guilds

  • provides a small rp bonus for every win depending on lodge level
  • will have sps rewards on brawl (future perk)
  • merits could be used to buy gladius packs

I am not sure about the other questions but also for joining a guild be sure to select that suits you best some have requirements to be me met like guild donations or league level.

joining guild can make you earn more merits when you guys win in brawl. those merits will be used to buy gladius packs that will provide you extra card collection power.

joining a guild will provide a way to use the newly introduced meritns in rewards chest so you can spend them if you have many also gives a boost in sps gained in battle joining one is alway better than not having one

Joining guilds: good for knowing people, earning merits (and sps in the future) through brawls, make experience (more battles)

To power up: well, it is not that easy. Rewards are random and so it's a matter of luck, and money. Make some experience by playing and start purchasing cards according to your budget, today crypto are not expensive as 1 yr ago, so any investment is cheaper (but we can never say if they go much lower in the future). For sure Chaos Legion and reward cards are getting cheaper and cheaper until all packs are sold, so a good idea would be to focus on buying those a few weeks before packs get sold out.
Some common/rare reward cards are quite strong when leveled up, but you still to level up summoners which are more expensive. If you focus on 2-3 colors, you can easily farm with those and slowly slowly getting stronger also with the other ones. Time will be your friend, rushing will be your enemy.

A great way to improve your game is by studying the lineups that beat you. Some of the cards that can make a big difference aren't that expensive.

  • A nice way to power up is doing posts, you receive an upvote and after 7 days half of it will be power and the other half HBD (Hive dollar).
  • Guilds the best place for a new player, because there you can receive tips about what to do, I'm at the Dinero Guild @bananofarmer can explain more about it. I recommend it is a very good place. Another point is that you receive more RC, which means you can play more per day, you can participate in brawls to buy packs with merit, and also receive a nice bonus at each match.
  • About land i don't know much about it, because it is pricy, but one thing you can thing before investing is: "What else i could do with the same money and time" if you reach a better answer than go with it.

I started here at peakd recently too, if you want to know more from time to time i write some posts with extra information :)
