Buying my first Chaos Legion SPS Pack [ENG/ESP]

Greetings Hivernfts. In this opportunity I will tell you about my first purchase in Splinterlands and how it went.

At first, the only way to get a pack of the Chaos Legion edition was acquiring the vouchers and all that stuff, recently Splinterlands has placed the direct sale of the packs with a price of 4$ paid with credits, which would be about 4000 credits.

I had about 1013 credits and some SPS so I thought why not, I'll buy a pack to see how it goes, spoiler alert, I have very bad luck in draws and random things.

The thing is that I had a little more than 30 SPS and from the game itself you can do the conversion to credit very easily. I completed the 4000 credits and went to make the purchase. It is worth mentioning that you can acquire credit with many other cryptos, in this sense Splinterlands makes it easy, the difficult thing is to get the cryptos.

I went to the store and bought my first Chaos Legion pack, of course I was happy and excited. Then the screen that allows me to open the pack opens and I notice that I have several potions, 34 legendary and 29 golden, uy uy uy uy something good must fall on me (I thought). I thought I had to activate the potions with a button or something like that, but no, just by having some and opening a pack they activate themselves, so don't worry when opening a pack, they will be spending the potions automatically.

As you can see, I already had the pack in my possession, this pack can be transferred to another player and can be sold on the market, it can be an economic strategy to buy many packs and keep them unopened and then when they run out in the official store sell them at lunatic prices.

I dragged the pack to the center of the circle of runes and its elements, the animation was activated and I was a little nervous, by the way the animation is brutal I quite like it. And I already had my 5 cards available, in the following image you can notice that 5 legendary potions and 5 golden potions were spent.

Turning these cards over with a lot of uncertainty and hoping that luck would smile on me I got this:

My first cards of my own, mine, my property, the Legion of Chaos. I was happy because I got two rare cards, but do you really pay $4 for these cards? Let's see and compare with current market prices:

In the case that I decided to sell my cards today the total sale price does not exceed half a dollar, but I spent 4$, if instead of buying a pack I had started to buy cards in the market I would have more than 5, it is very common to think like that when the results are not satisfactory. In the end those 4$ were not really spent from my pocket, but they have been earnings from the game itself, the mentioned credits I had earned them in daily and seasonal chests and the SPS I had earned them with the daily airdrop. Looking at it this way it doesn't hurt so much.

The truth is that buying cards in the market is safer, but buying a pack you can win a legendary card valued at hundreds of dollars for only 4$, and finally, the feeling and emotion we feel when opening a pack can not be bought in the market (tears in the eyes and cracked voice), it is something unique that everyone should live it at some point.

En principio, la única manera de obtener un pack de la edición Chaos Legion era adquiriendo los vaucher y todo ese rollo, hace poco tiempo Splinterlands ha colocado la venta directa de los pack con un precio de 4$ pagados con créditos, lo que serían unos 4000 créditos.

Yo contaba con unos 1013 créditos y algunos SPS entonces pensé ¿por qué no? voy a comprar un pack a ver que tal me va, alerta de spoiler, tengo muy mala suerte en sorteos y cosas al azar.

La cosa es que tenía un poco más de 30 SPS y desde el mismo juego se puede hacer la conversión a crédito de manera muy fácil. Completé los 4000 créditos y me dirigí a realizar la compra. Cabe mencionar que se puede adquirir crédito con muchas otras cryptos, en este sentido Splinterlands nos lo pone fácil, lo difícil es conseguir las cryptos.

Me fui a la tienda y compro mi primer pack Chaos Legion, claro que estaba contento y entusiasmado. Luego se abre el pantalla que permite realizar la apertura y me fijo que tengo varias pociones, 34 legendarias y 29 doradas, uy uy uy algo bueno me debe caer (eso pensé). Creí que debía activar las pociones con algún botón o algo parecido, pero no, solo con tener alguna y abrir un pack ellas se activan solas, o se gastan solas, así que no se preocupen a la hora de abrir un pack, sí o sí estarán gastando las pociones de forma automática.

Como ven, ya tenía el pack en mi poder, este pack se puede transferir a otro jugador y se puede vender en el mercado, puede ser una estrategia económica comprar muchos pack y guardarlos sin abrir para luego cuando se acaben en tienda oficial venderlos a precios lunáticos.

Arrastré el pack al centro del círculo de runas y sus elementos, se activó la animación y yo un poco nervioso, por cierto la animación es brutal me gusta bastante. Y ya tenía mis 5 cartas disponibles, en la siguiente imagen pueden notar que se gastaron 5 pociones legendarias y 5 pociones doradas.

Al voltear estas cartas con mucha incertidumbre y esperando que la suerte me sonría obtuve esto:

Mis primeras cartas propias, mías, de mi propiedad, Chaos Legion. Estuve contento porque me salieron dos cartas raras pero ¿realmente pagan los 4$ estas cartas? veamos y comparemos con los precios del mercado actual:

En el caso que decidiera vender mis cartas hoy el precio total de venta no supera medio dolar, pero gasté 4$, si en vez de comprar un pack me hubiese puesto a comprar cartas en el market tendría más de 5, es muy común pensar así cuando los resultados no son satisfactorios. Al final esos 4$ en realidad no los gasté de mi bolsillo, sino que han sido ganancias del mismo juego, los créditos mencionados me los había ganado en cofres diarios y de temporadas y los SPS me los había ganado con el airdrop diario. Viéndolo así no duele tanto.

La verdad es que comprar cartas en el market es más seguro, pero comprando un pack puedes ganar una carta legendaria valorada en cientos de dólares por solo 4$, y para finalizar, el sentimiento y la emoción que sentimos al abrir un paquete no se puede comprar en el mercado (lagrimas en los ojos y voz entrecortada), es algo único que todos deben vivirlo en algún momento .
