Good day community

One of the issues that arise when taking pictures is the focal length and focus of our images. Apparently it is a technicality, something complex and possibly for many people it goes unnoticed but it is elementary when it comes to capturing very specific images. All of us who take photography, whether with a camera or with a phone, are aware of this important detail of having our images well focused, although there is the game of what can be done and why different methods are used. I always use the manual mode of my camera since the automatic modes often do not give the result that I expect since it comes configured like this and my intention is to do what I want the camera to do, not what it wants to do. To use the manual focus I use different tricks that I have been learning throughout the time of taking photography, also informing myself and capturing the ideas of other photographers.

The points of view vary depending on the objects in focus and also to force the blur if what is intended is for the viewer to fix their eyes on a certain point or object in the image. A clear example of focus and blur is this image that I present to you of the square. Firstly, a general shot with all the elements in focus, the first cover image, for this I fix my point of view in the farthest place and gradually focus until I achieve complete sharpness and focus. In the image of the dove on the wall, I focus exclusively on it, since the intention is to create that environment where, not only photographically but also visually, the view is fixed exclusively on it. As for normal vision, if we do this test, seeing normally without a camera, we will observe that when we look at a specific point, the rest is blurred since our vision, iris, and pupil are focused exclusively on it. The opposite example would be to focus on the person and the landscape that surrounds them and that they walk, leaving the dove out of focus in that foreground. In this case, my intention is not for one to focus on the dove but on the details of the woman in red and in his walk.

In the third winter image, the exact same effect occurs, firstly my intention is that when viewing the photograph one notices those branches and leaves with their colors and details. In the second image, the process and the destination that I am looking for is exactly the opposite of one looking at the area of the square giving and breaking only with that touch of color from the leaves with a certain blur. Greetings friends, I hope you liked this brief explanation of my way of working with my images.

@oscarps Jugar con el enfoque
