BEING A CHAMPION AT YGG SPL EU/ASIAN TOURNAMENT (9TH TROPHY) | GIVEAWAY #32

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia, In this Social Media Challenge, I am very excited to share tips and trick on how to win Splinterlands tournaments in this week. There are 4 achievements this week :
- Runner Up at Ghoul Bounty Showdown (Silver League)
- Winner at YGG SPL Weekend Challenge EU / Asian (Silver League)
- Third Place at Beccss's Morning Livestream Tourney (Silver League)
- Winner at Crypto Zard n Beccss Tourney Stream 55 (Silver League)
So, there were 2 tournaments organized by @crypto-zard, 1 tournament from @bunsbagsandcaps and 1 tournament from @yggspl-official. Thank You so much guys for the tournaments. It feels good to fight against strong players around the world to get new ideas about battle strategies. As a summary, here is my accomplishment (Top 3) since started playing tournament in August 2022 :

As you can see, I started my Tournaments journey from Bronze league and then move into silver mostly. In the next week, I am planning to do some research and start playing at Gold League. I do hope to get many achievements just like bronze and silver. The final goal will be winning the Diamond league tournaments which give thousands of SPS, Pretty awesome, isn't? 😍

- TOURNEY OVERVIEW -
Well, The tournament has has Silver league cap with 1 DEC entry fees. There are 138 players who have participated in the tournament. Pretty high amount of players. No legendaries allowed to be played and there are only specific card edition which may be used in the tourney : Reward (Modern format), Chaos Legion, and Riftwatcher. No dice so participants could not use Mylor Crowling or Lorna Shine in the battle. There are sweet prize for the finalists, the winner will get 2000 DEC plus 1 Chaos Legion Pack and the runner up will get 1500 DEC plus 1 Chaos Legion pack as well.
- ROAD TO CHAMPION -
The tables below are showing who my opponents were, along with the pictures of the monsters and summoners we used in the battle, I have linked the picture with the battle so if you are interested on some of the battles, feel free to click on it and enjoy the battle (I put mana and Ruleset as per @ducecrypto suggestion, thanks for the feedback, mate) :
1st Battle against @comegetsome

 | Use Thorn monster to counter melee monster. The repair ability will make your tank immortal against physical attack |

 | Comegetsome fled the battlefield. I wish he could continue, maybe some internet issue there. |
2nd Battle against @likewat3r
| Mana : 38 (Earth) | Ruleset : Holy Protection, Reverse Speed |

 | Void is very important monster against opponent who used many magic monsters. Silence ability is great too. |
| Mana : 54 (Life) | Ruleset : Holy Protection |

 | Once your opponent is going to use ranged attack monsters, prepare the counter (return fire ability). |
3rd Battle against @sp3cial3d
| Mana : 29 (Earth) | Ruleset : Noxious Fumes, Broken Arrows |

 | Void is the way to counter magic attack. heal, tank heal, immunity, tank heal ability works well in Noxious Fumes |
| Mana : 24 (Earth, Death, Dragon) | Ruleset : Healed Out, Even Stevens |

 | If there are 2 options, death and earth, try to use death, because Thaddius is a good obsidian counter. |
4th Battle against @raijin-storm

 | If you expected the opponent to use sneak attack, put 1 monster at the backmost as a sacrifice . |

 | Use monsters with high HP and Immunity skill in Noxious Fumes. Cleanse and good tank will also work well |

 | Speed is the key factor to win in this battle. Shield ability works good against physycal attack (melee & ranged) |
5th Battle against @supercow (Semifinal Round)

 | Protection from Wavesmith helps to hold some of the opponent's melee attack like demented shark and flying squid. |

 | Thaddius counter Obsidian while Cursed WIndeku counter Grund double attack also. Equal Opportunity makes windeku a great tank |
6th Battle against @neophyte142068 (Final Round)

 | Sand Worm is the MVP in this battle, He killed 1 monster in every turn in the middle of match with his 6 attack. |

 | In high mana, Axemaster is a beast since he could give 6 damage in every turn which only cost 7 mana. |

 | If there is no good flying monsters to choose in Earthquake, Protection and high damage monster is an option. |

- THE MOST INTERESTING BATTLE -
I like this battle because I didn't expect that I could win. Basically, Kelya Frendul is weak against Obsidian, since he is just adding 1 armor and 1 speed, no counter against additional 1 magic given by Obsidian, but Thanks to Sandworm, his huge sneak attack could killed 3 monsters (Supply Runner, Goblin Psychic and Regal Peryton). Deeplurker is also giving contribution to kill the lowest HP in the battle, Opportunity is such a beast kill.
- TOURNEY RESULT -
@queen-silvia secured the first spot after winning 13 matches and took 1 lose, the only lose suffered when she was fighting against @raijin-storm in the quarter final. She deserved 2000 DEC and 1 Chaos Legion Pack. As the runner up, we have @neophyte142068 as another finalist with 11 wins and 7 lose. Thank you for battling with me, neophyte 🙏. He deserved 1500 DEC and 1 Chaos Legion Pack. In the third place, we have @dishonesty with 9 wins and 3 lose, he got the third as he suffered less lose than @supercow who sit in the forth place and deserve 750 DEC. In the fifth spot, we have @thelegend123 with 7 wins and 3 lose. For all of those top 5 players, Thank you very much for participating on the tourney and congratulations for the reward.
