PIZZA Guilds Brawl Report - November 11, 2021

Welcome to my 14th #BrawlReport as part of the @hive.pizza PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish guild!

I rotated out of combat this time so I'm changing up this brawl report to feature the performance of all three of the PIZZA guilds! That's right, @hive.pizza now has THREE @Splinterlands guilds in competition. It seems that even with three guilds, we still have more and more players wanting to join us. Stay tuned as we continue to tweak our Guild setup to try to benefit everyone.

PIZZA 1: The Stuffed Crust

Our premier guild, PIZZA 1: The Stuffed Crust took 2nd place in this brawl with 45 Wins and 22 Losses for 135 points. For their performance, each participant was rewarded with 1,131 merits (more than half the cost of a single Gladius case!) and the guild earned 21 crowns!

Congrats to @mcgilli and @torrey.blog for going undefeated with 6 wins in this brawl and tying for first place! @thecryptonnecter went undefeated as well but was in a fray with fewer competitors so the way that Splinterlands ranks people, they were relegated to 9th place. My apologies on the truncated screenshots that didn't capture the performance of places 6-8 :(

The PIZZA 1 guild has been routinely placing in 1st or 2nd place and continues to make the whole PIZZA family proud! We are looking forward to seeing this guild continue to push higher in the rankings and make it to top 100 in the near future.

PIZZA 2: The Deep Dish

This is my home guild where I serve as co-leader with @dibblers.dabs and I sat out competition this round to give some other players a chance at those untamed frays I have been entering.

PIZZA 2 came in 4th place in this brawl with 32 wins, 33 losses, earning 96 points. This performance earned each participating member 369 merits and the guild earned 8 crown rewards.

Congrats to @cryptoniusraptor for taking first place with 6 wins and 1 loss. This performance was also the best win percentage for the guild, coming in at 85.7%. With only four players getting more wins than losses, this was a challenging brawl for PIZZA 2.

PIZZA 3: Hand Tossed

This is our newest guild and is currently building up their ranks. PIZZA 3 took 8th place in this brawl, with only 5 players competing. Despite a small team, they achieved 17 wins, 17 losses, for a total of 51 points.

Congrats to @h-t-t for taking 1st place with 4 wins and 2 losses.

Final Thoughts

I think the PIZZA project Splinterlands guild strategy is on the right track. We are actively building PIZZA 1 into a top-tier competitive guild with the guidance and support of @kennysgaminglife, while PIZZA 2 and PIZZA 3 offer a more casual level of gameplay and also serve as feeder guilds to those who want to prove themselves worthy to compete at the top levels.

@kennysgaminglife has spearheaded the #BrawlReport project as a way to get PIZZA guild members more engaged in the @Splinterlands community. Here's what he had to say:
