Finally found a Gold Deck that can be borrowed at NFTYARCADE, although not from the usual user. While the deck I borrowed can usually be used for 30 days, the deck I borrowed this time can only be used for 1 season (about 10 days left).

FUNGUS FLINGER

One of the best Soulbund Reward Card I have (Fungus Flinger) finally made it to lv5 after at the end of last season I got some BCX to fulfill it. For Normal Card, Lv5 is the maximum level that can be used in the Silver League. At Lv5, Fungus Flinger gains a new Ability (BLIND) despite having to sacrifice a bit of his STATS.

BLIND can be quite an effective ability when combined with a high SPEED (or the lowest SPEED if in Reverse Speed), and can be combined with other abilities such as FLYING and DODGE which are specialized in increasing the "Evasion Rate ".

Lets Start the Battles

The ruleset for this battle was Melee Mayhem, and that's why I used Grund and placed it in the second position (adjacent to Fungus Flinger). The SPEED of all my monsters was reduced as a result of my opponent's Summoner's Ability (Quix the Devious).

The opponent brought 2 SNEAK monsters and 1 OPPORTUNITY monster, while the rest were Magic monsters. Luckily, this time I decided to use Immortalis which is able to give VOID to all my monsters so that it can reduce the attacks from the opponent's Magic monsters. But unfortunately, I have to rent this card (Immortalis) separately because the Deck I borrowed does not provide Immortalis. And I also have to rent it for about a full season (fortunately in Peakmonster there is already a rental feature for 1 season)

FUN FACT

• Even though 2 of my monsters were defeated by the opponent's Melee monsters, there was one attack from the opponent's Melee monster that failed to hit one of my 2 defeated monsters. Even though the Melee monster has an advantage in SPEED.

• 2 Attacks from Fungus Flinger successfully hit Djinn Oshannus who has a greater SPEED than him (his last attack made Djinn Oshannus lose)

Fungus Flinger was defeated by the opponent's 2 SNEAK monsters (Uraeus and Pelacor Bandit), but it gave additional STATS to Grund who was next to it.

With this victory, I've made it to the Gold League.
