Xenith Archer - Splinterlands Art Contest 247

Saludos nuevamente querida comunidad, espero esten muy bien! Yo emocionada por haber logrado mi segundo fan art para participar en el concurso 247 de Splinterlands, para esta oportunidad he decidido dibujar una carta llamada Arquero Xenith me gusto mucho la descripción del pueblo su afan por conseguir el equilibrio en todo.

Greetings again dear community, I hope you are very well! I'm excited for having achieved my second fan art to participate in the Splinterlands contest 247, for this opportunity I decided to draw a card called Xenith Archer, I really liked the description of the people and their eagerness to achieve balance in everything.

Lei el pequeño fragmento de la historia que viene junto a la carta y me inspiro mucho, a pesar de ser un pueblo pacifista que no se involucra en la guerra, cuando ya no pueden tolerar la injusticia y las matanzas sin sentido, no dudan en tomar sus arcos, flechas y con una punteria divina, atinan al corazón de los tiranos, la valiente mujer en ser la primera en tomar las armas descrita en este fragmento se llama Delya asi que quise hacer una mujer Xenith

Lo primero fue realizar el dibujo de una arquera para ello busque algunas referencias en Pinterest y encontré una perfecta para la pose que quería, una vez resolví el dibujo, procedi a colorear el fondo la quise ubicar oculta entre las hojas apuntando calmadamente a su víctima.

I read the small fragment of the story that comes with the letter and it inspired me a lot, despite being a pacifist people who do not get involved in war, when they can no longer tolerate injustice and senseless killings, they do not hesitate to take their bows, arrows and with a divine aim, hit the heart of the tyrants, the brave woman to be the first to take up arms described in this fragment is called Delya so I wanted to make a Xenith woman.

The first thing was to make the drawing of an archer for it I looked for some references in Pinterest and I found a perfect one for the pose I wanted, once I solved the drawing, I proceeded to color the background I wanted to place her hidden among the leaves aiming calmly at her victim.

La carta describe que las personas de este pueblo son personas de piel bronceada, además el arte de la carta lo muestra también, asi que use tonos de piel morena para la base, luego fui incorporando el resto de tonos para crear la forma de su rostro, quise hacer una expresión desafiante y confiada en su tiro, así que cada vez que incorporaba un nuevo color me acercaba mas a mi objetivo con esta ilustración.

The letter describes that the people of this town are tanned skinned people, plus the art of the letter shows it too, so I used brown skin tones for the base, then I was incorporating the rest of the tones to create the shape of his face, I wanted to make a defiant and confident expression in his shot, so each time I incorporated a new color I got closer to my goal with this illustration.

Para las ropas me guié de las mostradas en la carta, pero tuve algunos inconvenientes pintando los pliegues de la tela con esa forma, asi que cambie el tipo de escote, y de este modo pude resolver como pintar la tela, luego coloree las lineas azules en su piel, aunque descarte las de su brazo.

Para el cabello cambie un poco el peinado original de la tarjeta y lo hice con algunas ondas y siendo llevado por el viento y cubriendo un poco su rostro.

For the clothes I was guided by the ones shown in the card, but I had some problems painting the folds of the fabric with that shape, so I changed the type of neckline, and this way I could solve how to paint the fabric, then I colored the blue lines on her skin, although I discarded the ones on her arm.

For the hair I changed a little the original hairstyle of the card and made it with some waves and being carried by the wind and covering a little her face.

Para finalizar solo dibuje algunos arboles al fondo y unas hojas difuminadas en primer plano, baje un poco la iluminación general y agregue luces extras de las que se cuelan entre las hojas cuando se esta bajo su sombra, me gusto mucho esta ilustración, sobre todo por el color y la expresión de esta gerrera Xenith, espero que tambien haya sido del agrado de todos.

To finish I only drew some trees in the background and some blurred leaves in the foreground, I lowered a little the general lighting and added extra lights of those that sneak between the leaves when you are under its shadow, I really liked this illustration, especially for the color and expression of this Xenith warrior, I hope that also has been to everyone's liking.
