This has been a pretty busy week in Splinterlands for just about everybody. First off, it's the End of Season again which means a flurry of activity for last minute league climbing grinding of reward chests 😁, of which some people will inevitably strike the jackpot.

On the Splinterlands side of things we've had Riftwatchers Presale go live. A highly anticipated expansion which has been a long time coming. This will nicely augment the current ongoing Chaos Legion editions to add to some needed depth for the Modern format in my opinion.

A brief introduction before I start though...

Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳

This is now the 43rd consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. Of course, this also marks my 37th weekly giveaway! 🎉🥳🎊

It's the end of season again as I mentioned, and with that, comes to eager opening of EOS reward chests. Ripping open my presents like an over eager kid during Christmas, I was unfortunately disappointed this time round 😭.

Both my main and alt accounts were lackluster to say the least. Oh well, I guess I finally got the short end of the stick. Can't "win" every time I suppose. I'll console myself with the hope that all these assets will rise dramatically in value in the far future! (one can always dream 😅).

My quest for more Gold Foil Legendary cards from my rewards chests continues on ("Greed is Good!" 😈). It's a 0.008% chance, at base level, to pull a legendary gold foil, in case you were wondering 😉. Here's to more jackpot strikes in the future (i hope) 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀.

Riftwatchers Presale went live! I had been wanting to get myself 50 packs to secure that promo card. However, the speed of the sales exceeded everyone's expectations.

1 minute and 39 seconds 😱. Yes that's ALL the time that was needed for EVERY SINGLE presale pack to be gone. I was REALLY disappointed to say the least. Personally, I'm not too much of a fan of such FOMO and rush for such items. I always feel a presale should be open to everyone who's willing to preorder instead of having it boil down to who has the time and speed/bots to sweep up everything at the start. I guess it's individual card buying for me instead of packs then. 🤷‍♂

On the other hand, these are extremely good numbers which shows Splinterlands is still really alive and kicking. Especially in this current bear market, it is really positive that the game has such support. This bodes well for the future of Splinterlands.

Weekly Chaos Legion Sales Tracker

And now, for an update on the number of Chaos Legion packs sold thus far. About 65k sold since last week. That is an amazing sales figure! 😄

It looks like pack sales are definitely much higher than before when the SPS airdrop was still ongoing. Lots of players are probably buying these packs up with DEC earned from playing the game daily 🤑.

Here's the current count (as of the moment I'm writing this post) of the number of packs sold, and we're 36k away from the 10 million mark! Which also means everyone has a chance to get in now and grab more packs for the remaining airdrops! 😜

My fingers are crossed! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Hopefully I'll get some amazing luck for the next round! 🍀🍀🍀
