Splinterlands art contest | SPIRIT SHAMAN

Hello bloggers how are you? I hope well, this week I think I will be distributing my time better to continue blogging normally, I hope so, while I come to show you my entry this week for the weekly contest of @splinterlands, this time I have drawn a character that since I started the contest I had wanted to do, it has a vibe that catches my attention, the only thing that stopped me were its colors because I usually get along better with cooler tones, this character is SPIRIT SHAMAN I'll tell you better how it was to do it and the step by step as always let's go there.

Hola blogueros ¿Cómo están? espero que bien, esta semana creo que estaré distribuyendo mejor mi tiempo para poder seguir blogueando con normalidad, espero sea así, mientras vengo a mostrarles mi entrada de esta semana para el concurso semanal de @splinterlands, esta vez he dibujado un personaje que desde que empecé a concursar lo había querido hacer, tiene unas vibras que me llaman mucho la atención, lo único que me frenaba eran sus colores pues normalmente me llevo mejor con los tonos mas fríos, este personaje es SPIRIT SHAMAN te cuento mejor como fue hacerlo y el paso a paso como siempre vamos allá.

For the sketch phase I had in mind to recreate a magical battle scene perhaps, but I felt that this character would look better alone and in a more personal plane, so I did it in the form of a half body statue, so I only drew it up to the waist, also for my opinion the bottom is not a very fundamental element to illustrate the character.

Para la fase del boceto tenia en mente recrear una escena mágica de batalla tal vez, pero sentí que este personaje se iba a ver mejor solo y en un plano mas personal, así que lo hice en forma de estatua medio cuerpo, por ello solo la dibuje hasta las cintura, igualmente para mi parecer la parte de abajo no es un elemento muy fundamental para ilustrar el personaje.

To incorporate the color, I tried not to move away from the cold tones and I paid attention to try the colors to have a good result, what made me think the most was those mustard tones of her clothes, with the hair mainly I was a little late not because it was difficult but because the tones I wanted did not end up fitting so in the end I had to change them.

Para incorporar el color, traté de no alejarme de los tonos fríos y presté atención a probar los colores para tener un buen resultado, lo que mas me hacia pensar era esos tonos mostaza de sus vestimenta, con el cabello principalmente me fue algo tardío no por lo difícil si no porque los tonos que quería no terminaban de encajar así que al final tuve que cambiarlos.

This time I liked to try some new details, for example some facial features a little more striking, I tried with the lips this time a little with the nose and some glitter in the eye socket and tears, little by little I want to make these improvements to make the face a more prominent part in my drawings, because usually I like to highlight the attire and other parts of the drawing.

En esta ocasión me gustó probar algunos detallitos nuevos, por ejemplo unos rasgos faciales un poco mas llamativos, probé con los labios esta vez un poco con la nariz y algunos brillos en la cuenca del ojo y lagrimales, poco a poco quiero hacer estas mejoras para que el rostro sea una parte mas protagónica en mis dibujos, pues por lo general me gusta mas que resalte el atuendo y otras partes del dibujo.

Another thing I forgot to mention about the sketch is that this time I also used geometric shapes to elaborate the sketch, like a perfect circle to guide the hair and a triangle for the body posture, on the other hand, I liked the idea that the background was only a projected light so the darkness would highlight more the magic that comes out of the hands of the character. Otra de las cosa que me olvidé mencionar acerca del boceto es que esta vez también emplee las formas geométricas para elaborar el boceto, como un circulo perfecto para guía del cabello y un triangulo para la postura del cuerpo, por otro lado, me gusto la idea que el fondo solo fuese una luz proyectada para que la oscuridad hiciera resaltar mas la magia que sale de las manos del personaje. ¿Qué te pareció? déjame saber tu opinión.
