# Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 18 Report Card

I've been trying for a couple days to make some time to get this end of season report card created, but every time I start on it something comes up and interrupts me. So, with the clock ticking down to less than two days remaining to get this in, I finally pushed all the distractions aside and made some time to get this done.

This season's performance lagged last season quite a bit thanks to a rash of losses in the final hours of the season. That dropped me out of Diamond 1 to finish in Diamond 2. On the other hand, I did increase the number of wins I recorded thanks to playing a higher number of battles. Once again, I did not join any tournaments this season so nothing to report there.

With the new Soul Bound reward cards, I continue to rack up impressive reward cards both in quantity and quality. With the old reward cards, I would be lucky to score three or four gold foil cards in a season, but this season I received 21 gold foil cards from chests. Unfortunately, none of them were Legendary and all 8 of my Epic cards were regular foil.

My total rewards this season increased significantly over last season. I received 721 SPS compared to 389 last season and 47700 credits worth of potions and Chaos Legion packs compared to only 28830 credits worth of rewards. Chaos Legion packs were the main reason for the big jump in credit equivalent rewards since I opened chests containing 6 Booster packs this season verses only 2 last season. Since Chaos Legion packs sold out this week those packs are even more valuable in my opinion.

Rental income came charging back with a vengeance this season. My net rental income nearly doubled from 6012 to 11,483 this season. Since Land is fast approaching (it still feels like it's taking forever), this increased rental income is badly needed since it's my only stream of DEC income.

SPS income was up 808 SPS over last season thanks mainly to increased Ranked Rewards and Liquidity Rewards. Voucher drops increased slightly also.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this season and especially the rewards. For over two years now, I've been dreaming about using the land I purchased so long ago. In the next week or two we are finally going to get to see the Land white paper and find out how much DEC and cards we are going to need to make our land fully productive. These rewards from this season, and others to come, are going to help make that dream a reality without breaking the bank.
