Splinterlands Blast From The Past Reward Card Giveaway #48

Splinterlands Card Giveaway

Each week I host a giveaway for one of the original Reward Edition Splinterlands cards. Most of these cards have been out-of-print for almost two years, so new players can only get them in the market, and that can be pretty expensive. These giveaways are a way to help players build their deck for free.

Last week's prize was this Rusty Android card.

Now that the post has reached the end of the seven day point of payout it's time to spin the wheel of names and find out who the lucky winner is...

Congratulations to the winner, @flummi97! You are now the proud owner of this new Rusty Android card. The card has already been sent to your account.

This Week's Giveaway

If you are just starting out in Splinterlands and your looking for a good utility card that can be played in any splinter and comes with a very low Mana cost, then you are in luck! Why? Because, for this week's Blast From The Past Giveaway, I'm giving away this Level 1 Highland Archer card.

Highland Archer_lv1.png

The Highland Archer has always been a great card to add a little punch to a new Battle Mage's deck. In addition to it's versatility and low Mana cost, it's one of the least expensive of all the original Reward Edition cards. Currently, you can purchase a Highland Archer for as little as $0.25 on the Splinterlands market if you are interested in obtaining one.

If you are just starting out and haven't been able to add a Highland Archer card to your deck or just need another one to level yours up, then you should get in on this giveaway. This card will be sent to one lucky winner when this contest closes at post payout time. If this Highland Archer card doesn't fit in with your master plan for Splinterlands domination, or if you lack the skill and wisdom necessary to achieve victory with it, you can always rent it to someone else or try to sell it in the market.

How To Enter The Giveaway

For a chance to add this Highland Archer to your Splinterlands deck, just leave a comment. Be sure to add your Splinterlands account name if it's different than your entry name. Only 1 entry per person. The contest will end at the 7 day point of payout for this post, when I will use the WHEEL OF NAMES to choose the winner.

Good Luck!

This isn't one of my most used cards, but it's not because it isn't a great one. I still pull it out once in a while, particularly in back to basics rules. It doesn't have enough health to take too many hits, but if it's well protected in the back it puts out some pretty good damage at higher levels, particularly paired with a ranged attack booster, like Selenia. This is a great card to have on hand. Congrats to the winner!
