Autumn colours in Messilä :: Daily and Fresh 📷 (242/366)

Hi!

I went to Messilä with my camera and took a couple of photos.

On these photos I used exclusively the parametric mask and drawn & parametric mask functions on Darktable to select areas to select the areas to edit.

I didn't think much of using the parametric mask, and even found it a bit difficult to use, but Yesterday I discovered using it wasn't hard at all.

In other news, I've been listening Doyle and Christie mysteries as audiobooks a lot lately. Driving and shooting photos, even editing photos, and "reading" books at the same time is kind of fun.

But can not write at the same time when listening. 😅

Heh. Well, I'll go and get some sleep next. I hope you liked the photos!

See ya!

Wow, very beautiful place, the place beside the water, tree is in a row with sitting arrangement. I really like this place and your photo is sign of autumn is all ready make its entry by changing tree leaves colour.

Very beautiful lake with calm atmosphere. Those trees are turning reddish brown soon. Nice reflection in the water.

I used to listen and do homework when I was much younger. I dont like to do that while I am reading or writing now though. Possibly coz I am getting older, but more likely coz I am getting deeper into music since trying to compose a bit myself.

Yes, I find it hard to multitask anything now that I'm older.

If I want to listen to something, I don't want to be doing other stuff, or at least I'd want the other stuff to be completely mechanical so that it wouldn't take my thoughts off whatever I'm listening to.

And it goes the other way too; if and when I'm working gathering information or writing something on the computer, the last thing I need is anyone to come talk to me.
It completely throws off my concentration and at worst makes me lose my cool.

At least the photo edits are sort of mechanical work, since I've learned my trait to the point I can do it pretty much without thinking, so that I can converse, or listen to music/audiobooks while doing it.

I'd like to make some music too, but it seems that I need to concentrate on one thing at a time and time is more like a luxury these days.
