THE CHAMPION AT CLOVE71 TOURNAMENT (TIPS & TRICKS) AND GIVEAWAY #71

~ 😘 Hello My Splinterlands family around the world 😘 ~

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia. I am gladly present another tips and tricks when I won the Tournament held by @clove71 under the title : "Monday Madness LIVE clove71". Well, The tourney was pretty fun because Clove have opened so many packs like Gladius, Riftwatchers and Chaos Legion Packs in her stream, there are also many giveaways for the audience. The top 3 of the tournament got Warsaken Booster Packs, The winner received 3000 DEC, Runner Up got 2000 DEC and the Third place got 1000 DEC. Well the DEC rewards is pretty good to give the rental cost back. Here's How her stream looks like :

Very Interesting, isn't? So many people came into her stream and have fun together. The above picture is the match between I and @clove71 at the second round and the score was 2-1 and that's the only lost I suffered in the whole tournament (11 - 1) ha ha. Thanks clove, very nice to have battle with you and see you in the next tournament. I love all the music on the stream, makes me dance all the time ha ha. Well, Let's go to the first topic 😊

- ROAD TO CHAMPION -

The table below summarized how I could be a Champion at Clove71 Tournament :

Well, I almost got clean sweep in this tournament, ha ha. 11-1 score isn't bad though. I'll take some notes in my notes about my lose as lesson learn. The qualifier round only consisted of 1 match and I was bye for the second round so I didn't play any battle for the qualifier round. Started from the second round until semifinal round, the format was best 2, so whoever won the two battles first, he / she will qualify for the next round. And last, the final round has best of 3 format, so the first player who won 3 battles first, he / she will be the champion. Thank you very mush @daddy-diddles, @clove71, @bronko, @murphybh14 and @mondroid. Those were great battles. See you all in the next tournament.

I have made some cool battle analysis which will be explained in section #3 guys. Some of them were the final battles when I fought against mondroid. It was suupeeer cool battle when the dispel ability removed Quora's 4 Magic and 5 Melee damage due to double martyr and Bloodlust abilities. You mast watch it, it's pretty awesooome!

- TOURNAMENT REWARDS -

Well, aside of 3000 DEC, I also got 1 Warsaken Booster Pack from @clove71. Thank you very much. Well, another Warsaken was also given by Clove from the previous tournament as a winner as well. I still have no idea how to play this game. So If you guys have played Warsaken and want to teach me how to play it, fell free to replay at the comment section. That would be very appreciated.

I am just curious and then opened the packs. Here's how they looks like. Well, I am not promoting the Warsaken game guys. You have to do your own research (DYOR) before investing your funds into a project. For me, I think I will only play Splinterlands since I don't have time for another game :). Alright, Let's back to Splinterlands and discuss about the top 5 battle strategies throughout the tournament in the next section :).

- REMOVE BLOODLUST AND MARTYR WITH DISPEL ABILITY -

This is the best final battle I've had at the final round in my Splinterlands Journey. If you clicked on the battle link above, you'll see How Venari Spellsmith who have dispel ability removed the 4 Magic and 6 melee damage of Quora as she gains martyr and bloodlust ability. The Splinterlands have made dispel ability very special after the current ability and that's the reason why I used Venari Spellsmith a lot these days. Aside of his dispel ability, he also has amplify which can increase the damage of thorn and magic reflect ability. Since the tourney format is wild, I can use Prysmatic energy who has magic reflect as the second tank.

- MUSTANG AND TANK HEALER TO COUNTER LLAMA-KRON -

This is one of many ways to counter Llama-Kron at Silver league. The point is we have to reduce the magic damage into 3 using Void ability so that the Khmer Princess could restore the 3 Health Point back to Unicorn Mustang. This way the 5 Magic attack from Llama-Kron can be ignored. For the attacking purposes, Kron has the ability to restore 6 Health Points in every round, so we need atttack at least 7 damage to Kron. The Unicorn Mustang have 4 Melee damage, Khmer Princess has 1 magic damage and Acid Shooter has 2 ranged damage. The total is 7 and it's enough to kill Kron at round In order to prevent Blast damage spreading to the monsters at the backline, Venator Kinjo with his reflection shield ability is needed.

- "GOING TO DISTANCE" RULESET ISN'T ABOUT RANGED ONLY -

When we got Ruleset "Going the distance", It doesn't mean that we can only use ranged monsters only. As long as the monster have Ranged-Melee or Ranged-Magic, Those monsters can be used in the battle. In the above battle, we can see I used War Chang as my main attack and the opponent, @murphybh14 used Runemancer Flore as his main attack. Both of us used "Martyr Sandwich" strategy to increase all the stats of our main monster by +2. Fortunately, I used Llama to cleanse Poison from the tank monster and win the match. Most of the time (but not always), Llama is needed in Noxious Fumes Ruleset.

- BUILD ULTIMATE DEFENSE IN POISON & EARTHQUAKE RULESET -

It's always hard if we got ruleset Noxious Fumes and Earthquake at the same time. We really need to think that monster should have flying ability as well as immunity. The answer of that question is Kralus. The one and only. I put her in second position to save her from the opponent massive attack. What about some other cards? Well, We need resurrect to remove poison from friendly monster and that's why Adelade Brightwing is chosen. I didn't choose High Priest Darius since he has no flying ability and could die pretty fast due to earthquake and poison. Anyway, Thanks for the great battle, My friend, Bronko.

- "YODIN IS VERY STRONG AT AIM TRUE RULESET-

I didn't realize that the ruleset was aim true so I used Djinn Oshannus with his high speed and phase ability as I wish that the opponent attack could miss. This is my only lost in the tournament and it was against @clove71. Very good battle though. It shows us how strong Yodin Zaku at Aim true Ruleset because all of the ranged attack monsters can hit their target and then inflicted Blast damage to the adjacent monsters. Thank you for it, Clove.
