THE CHAMPION AT SUMMUN INFURIA TOURNAMENT (215 SPS) & GIVEAWAY #67

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia. In today post, I am going to share to all of you Top 5 battle strategies when I won the Summun Infuria Modern Silver Invitatonal. It's one of the regular SPS tournament held by @splinterlands which rewarding all the participants SPS based on the rank that they are finished at. The highest SPS reward is 215 SPS and the lowest is 4 SPS (the entry fee). So don't worry as long as the participants are less than 259 people, you'll always get your entry fee back. Just a reminder, On February 25, 2023, there will be an SPS tournament at gold level for Beginner, The reward will not be as high as some other gold tournament but it's worth to try and enhance our skill at gold level. If you are playing at gold league, don't forget to join this tournament guys!

Alright, The top Summun Infuria Modern Silver Invitational Tournament strategies that we are going to discuss in depth are :

Ranged attack is better than magic attack when fighting against Owster
Stun can be a game changer (Winning at low chance to win)
Llama-Kron is still stronger than Quora who activated her bloodlust (1x)
Lorna Shine with many monsters are stronger than single legendary card
Thorn and Demoralize abilities are very important at "Up Close and Personal Ruleset"

At the beginning of this article, I will share the result of the first and final round of the tournament and... at the end, there will be a giveaway #67 to grab so Let's get started !

- TOURNAMENT RESULT -

Here is the result of Round 1 tournament :

Alright, so at the first round of the tournament, I faced 11 players and I was lucky to win all the matches. All of my opponents were @bendmc, @kvm86, @ikau, @roguepatton, @megakyodaibanrai, @slaifer-red-01, @ijat (2x), @joonii, @mario89, @keithray. Some of the hardest battle were against Slaifer red and Keithray because both players are pretty skillful and have been joined lots of tournaments recently. Thank you very much everyone for playing with me. There are only 3 people who have clean sweep at the first round, Me, @hellslash and @byzantinekitty, Well quite famous players as they have pretty good skill when it comes to Splinterlands battle.

And here is the result of the final round :

Well, I had also 11 opponents in this round and got 1 Lose from @zombie569, A very strong Japanese Player as he has won many Splinterlands Tournaments at Silver level either Modern and Silver. Even Ueyuey is also admitting that zombie is stronger than him!. My summoner and Zombie's summoner were same, we both used Owster Rotwell and the ruleset was aimless, maybe I was a bit unlucky ha ha, we'll discuss the detail of the match at the next section. Anyway, Thank you very much for @splinterstonks, @teejays, @schachoberhessen, @coppersmith, @joelog2281, @xiith, @nikuniku, @mrskjp, @wrrrri and @mangogorylla for playing with me at the final round, those were some very great battle and I hope to see you guys again in the next tournament.

Alright, in the next section, we'll discuss about some of the cool battle strategies I used to win the first spot in Summun Infuria Modern Silver Invitational Tournament. I hope you like them guys :

- RANGED ATTACK IS BETTER THAN MAGIC WHEN FIGHTING AGAINST OWSTER -

For the first battle, we are going to dicuss about my battle against @zombie569. As we can see that the ruleset is amless and the mana is only 13 so we both were thingking that there is a high probability that the opponent might use magic monster so that's the reason why we used Owster Rotwell. My mistake in this battle was I put 3 magic monster while zombie was just putting 2 magic monsters only. This way his Owster worked more effectively since he could could counter my 3 magic monsters. I should have put more ranged attack monsters instead of magic ones. That was a good game, thank you, @zombie569.

- STUN CAN BE A GAME CHANGER -

In this match, I have lower chance to win (28%) compared to my opponent (72%) because we both used Ilthain as a summoner who can return all the magic attack. All of my opponents were ranged attack so that's the reason why my winning chance is pretty low, but one one of my monster, Runeslinger, has a stun ability which has became the game changer. His attacks activated stun several times to Arkemis and Corsair Bosun. It makes them unable to attack and ease my team to kill them first. Well, the chance to activate stun is 50%.

- LLAMA-KRON IS STILL STRONGER THAN QUORA WHO ACTIVATED HER BLOODLUST -

Many players have Summoners who have conscript ability which allow them to use additional one gladiator in all matches (including rannked battle). In the above match, @keithray used Quora since the mana was low and the ruleset was equal opportunity, which allow her to hit her enemy using both melee and magic attack. She was activated her bloodlust once as she killed Djinn Bjilka but her power with 3 magic and 3 melee damage was not enough against Llama-Kron. The reason is simply the maximum of health point. Llama-Kron has 18 health point which allow him to restore 6 HP in every turn while Quora has only 12 points so she can only restore 3 HP only. She was dying slowly as Kron has 5 magic attack.

- LORNA SHINE WITH MANY MONSTERS ARE STRONGER THAN A SINGLE LEGENDARY CARD -

Well, I think the reason why he put Magnor there is because the ruleset was stampede. It allows any monster with trample keep attacking the opponent as long as the targets are killed. However, I put Lorna shine with many monsters so the divine shield really helps them a lot to keep alive. In this case, life team could beat fire tea very easily, they have 9 total damage (2 magic attack and 7 melee attack) the poison from Dr. Blight also killed Magnor pretty fast. Lorna Shine is always a great choice for the low mana battle because of her divine shield ability.

- THORN & DEMORALIZE ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN MELEE ONLY RULESET -

The ruleset was Fog of War so melee monster can only attack from the first position. That's why I put a strong melee monster who have tough defense, high armor and HP and also Thorn ability to counter opponent's melee monster. The thorn is giving 2 damage whenever the opponent attacked. Another key monster is Disintegrator, who can reduce all of the opponent melee damage by -1. This has huge effect to lessen the total damage of the opponent's melee attack.

- FINAL RESULT OF TOURNAMENT -

Alright, The above picture shows the top 5 players in the tournaments. The best 3 players (me, @dragon.rider and @byzantinekitty) deserved 215 SPS (The best tier reward). I am at the top with 21 wins and 1 L only. The runner up and third place have the same points with 19 wins, 1 lose and 1 draw. Dragon.rider took the second spot as he has higher tie breaker than byzantine kitty. The forth and fifth place are @jayemm3 and @azipoon, the scholar account which is played by @schnapoon. They both have the same points with 19 wins and 3 loses and deserved 185 SPS. I would like to say congratulations for the top 5 of the tournament and see you in the next tournaments!. GG.
