TRENDZ Loyalty Rewards S02E01 + IMPORTANT CHANGES

In this article, I would like to present to you the details of the next era of my Loyalty Program.
Over the past 12 cycles, holders were rewarded with a decent amount of SWAP.HIVE, TRENDZ, SPS, and DEC tokens. The token's price is still 1 SWAP.HIVE, inflation is also zero.
The first round of the new "season" began on March 1, 2026, and will finish by the end of the month. During this period, TRENDZ token holders can earn loyalty points.

Reward changes
- SWAP.HIVE dividends remain in the same form. After every newly sold 10 TRENDZ tokens, existing token holders get 2 SWAP.HIVE tokens.
NEW: You can get these dividends in the form of TRENDZ tokens by requesting in a comment under any article. You can also switch back to SWAP.HIVE anytime.
The leaderboard prize has changed. Instead of honoring the TOP 10 loyalty point earners, everyone will be rewarded after the gathered points (similar to SWAP.HIVE dividends). Another change is that the prize pool will always be at least 12,000 DEC.
Conclave Arcana pack rewards are over. Instead, everyone who buys at least 1 TRENDZ from the @trendztoken account will get a share from the monthly 3,000 DEC pool. E.g., If two accounts buy 10-10 TRENDZ tokens in the month, both will be rewarded with 1,500-1,500 DEC tokens.
I decided to end the monthly TRENDZ Airdrop part, as it had a lot of administration. Instead, after every new 1,000 TRENDZ sold, I will celebrate with something (I haven't figured out yet)
We don't have this type of danger, but you should be aware that only the first 1,000 TRENDZ tokens can earn loyalty points (up to a maximum of 5,000)
APRs are still high, but are constantly decreasing as more TRENDZ tokens are sold. Be among the first to get the maximum value 😉
OFF: What happens with the token income
As I mentioned a few articles ago, the remaining 80% of the SWAP.HIVE income was always converted to HIVE Power for the @trendztoken account. This HP boosted the return of my delegators. Because of the recent serious inflation of HIVE, I decided to diversify a little bit by starting to build an HBD part. My goal is to have a 50% HP-50% HBD portfolio in the long term. From next month, @trendztoken HP will be delegated to @ecency, and HBD will be staked.
Prizes for this month
- 211 new tokens were sold in January, so 38 SWAP.HIVE tokens will be distributed to this month's loyalty point earners. I had to reduce the dividend by 4, because I accidentally sent more a few months ago
- 12,000 DEC tokens will also be distributed to the loyalty point earners
- 3,000 DEC tokens will be distributed among the accounts that buy at least 1 TRENDZ token during this month. Tokens must be bought from the main @trendztoken account.

Where to get?
Option 1: Buy directly
The initial price of a TRENDZ token is exactly 1 HIVE. The initial supply is 10000. The price of further issued tokens will be higher.
You can find it on various HIVE exchanges (e.g.):
By having only one TRENDZ token, everybody can become my supporter and benefit in the long term.
Option 2: Delegate HP
From September 1, you can earn $TRENDZ tokens passively by delegating HP to the @splintertrends account. Read the details HERE
IMPORTANT!
Don't treat this token as a financial investment. It's just a utility token with possible long-term rewards. Nothing more 🙂

Hmm.. Not sure why my tokens are showing as 40 instead of 50 even though they have all been bought at 1 hive and I have been a part of the raffles each of those months, so I know they must have been bought from the main account instead of someone else who would also sell them at 1 hive price. Which also brings to mind; How is one supposed to know that the token they buy are from the correct account if someone else is selling at the exact same price?

Answer 1: This table is a snapshot from 2026-03-01 00:00. You bought the latest 10 TRENDZ @ 2026-03-01 14:42, so you are competing for the share of 3,000 DEC. You can always check your transactions here: https://he.dtools.dev/@maldin?symbol=TRENDZ. Also, you can check your holding status here: https://splintertrends.com/leaderboard (click on your name)
Answer 2: There is always a sell order with a greater amount of TRENDZ that belongs to the main account. If you see an order with a lower price/amount, someone else has it. But in the past year, that occurred only a few times (nearly nobody wanted to break their holding period 😉).
thanks! yes, I was more thinking that if someone else lists theirs for 1.000000 hive as well, would it not go to the same sell block mixing yours and theirs?
Like in above example total available for 1 hive would be 7832.116000 if I would click sell and buyer would not know whose sell bid they are buying from. I guess the sell order placed first takes priority, but not sure. Not really that relevant, but just came to mind.
My experiences: If someone places a sell order with a better price (e.g., 1 TRENDZ for 0.999 HIVE), it will be processed first. But if someone places a sell order with the same price, it will be in the second place. They won't be mixed.
Oh, one more thing. Even if someone would list theirs for 0.999, would buyer actually be able to buy the ones listed at 1 before the 0.999 has sold in front of it? I don't think hive engine at least allows buying anything except the cheapest option.
As I mentioned in my previous comment, HIVE will process orders with the best price first. So you are right. In this case, you should wait a little bit. For example, three times a month, delegation rewards are always purchased, so there is constant demand.
