I hope everyone doing well and having a nice week! 😊Today I would like to share my EOS and one of my Daily focus reward. 😌

End of Season Rewards ----> 41 Gold Chests!

I was doing good in the last season and started to enjoy playing Splinterlands again with the new focus system, but halfway through the season something terrible happened! 😖

They released a new update and removed the fix chance getting the Focus Splinter in each and every battle. So if I want to be competitive I need to rent 2-3 max. leveled Splinter again like in the old days and on top of that all the rents must be rented for 2 day minimum. 😞

These changes shocked me a lot and I didn't play any matches the rest of the season and that is why I got ony 41 chests from my EOS.

I was thinking a lot how to play with the new rules, but I always ended up spending a lot of DEC, because the Splinters in each battle are random and the minimum rent is 2 days! This doesn't really help for the new players at all and the game is still full of bots, so I don't understand the idea behind! 🤔

I have opened my long waited 41 gold chests and like usual no one is helping for a small palyer with small budget, so I pulled 1.12 dollar loot, which is rubbish if you count the average cost of a gold chests.

Last season I was in gold league and I have the CP (especially in modern) to finish in gold at the End of the Season, but because my cards were rented out and I forgot about this 2 day rent stupideness they didn't come back in time so I fall back to rating 300 and I had to fight my way back to gold somehow, so I could receive only bronze chests! 😔

The rewards from these chests are not even worth mentioning! 😜

I still love Splinterlands as this is an amazing game, but the last update is just a complete rubbish for new players and they saying this is good to reduce the number of bots. Sorry to say that, but please have a look my last 100 game and from those games at least 70-80 were against bots! So what was the point of that??

Sorry if my article was a bit harsh or negative, but I was a bit frustrated playing with my favorite game and got hammered by the "new" rules. 🙄

Well, as a new, bronze player, I totally agree with you. More bots than ever, more expensive to play, and for rewards arranged to be lower.

Yep, the changes to the focus chest rules are harsh yet they are there to ensure the survival of the game. I sympathize completely with you, as I too had to readjust my gameplay to stay in the Gold League for EOS. I have two accounts so I am now spending more time on my funding sites to keep going. The EOS chest in Gold League are definitely worth going for; shame the daily focus chest now look more like Bronze ones though!
