Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!
Greetings, Summoners! Welcome to our weekly contest that's sure to challenge even the most seasoned players. Battle Mage Secrets, the newest addition to our challenges, will test your strategic skills as you showcase your matches and team comps for specific rulesets!
This contest is designed to allow for much more interesting and dynamic strategies as players will be able to choose from a greater selection of more diverse units to bring into battle. Are you ready for the challenge? Let's dive into the details.
CHALLENGE RULES
RULESET: Wands Out
Description:
Only units with magic attacks may be used.
Use Phase, Void, Void Armor, and Magic Reflect to counter magic attacks.
Battle Showcase: Create a post sharing a video link of one of your battles using the Wands Out ruleset. Be sure to link to your battle even if you also upload it to a video hosting platform like YouTube.
Submission Deadline: The deadline for submissions is 2 days before the post pays out (Monday at 12 pm CDT). This is to ensure that our curators have enough time to review all the entries before the next challenge is posted. Your punctuality is appreciated!
Formatting Help: Need help formatting your post? Check out this ULTIMATE MARKDOWN TUTORIAL.
Tagging: Don't forget to tag your post with #splinterlands and #play2earn to ensure it's part of the challenge.
Share on Social Media: Share your post on any social media site of your choice. Make sure to include links to both your HIVE post and the social media site you shared it on in the comment section of the challenge post.

UPVOTES! Participants who follow ALL the rules will receive upvotes from the @steemmonsters account.
Voting Quantity: You can get a MAXIMUM of 2 upvotes per week, per human. Please limit your entries to TWO posts a week. Take your time, make your posts awesome, and impress us with your Splinterlands skills!
Fair Play: Anyone found using more than one account to enter the contest will be muted in the community and banned from all curation and the possibility for participation in future contests.
Please note: Upvotes are not guaranteed and are up to the curator's discretion.
Manual Curation
Splinterlands/steemmonsters is all about community engagement, and that's why we're manually curating (upvoting) your posts! We have an amazing team of community curators, and official team members also have the 'powers' to upvote! We work together to try to upvote in order of entry. Sometimes we get a couple of days behind, just so we can let the VP heal in order to give larger upvote values. So, make sure you drop your links within a day or two of posting so we can get to it.
Curators are rewarded with higher upvotes on their posts and are allowed up to three per week, rather than two. This is our way of saying "Thank you!"

Weak Magic put a limitation into any magic attack by negating its capability to bypass armor aspect. Thus under this ruleset magic attack will work similar to melee or ranged attack, that is to land on any armor first. Since magic cards is much inferior in parameter value compared to its counterpart; deploying magic cards will bring no advantage at all. But this isn't always the case, especially if the opponent deploy few number of armored cards, or if opponent decided to deploy defensive ability such as Shield, Dodge, or Flying. So let's take a deeper look into Weak Magic.
