Still a little wonky on posting right now, trying to get back into the rhythm of it, for now these will be pretty regular, but I'll be posting them a little bit after the last one ends...

Let's check out the pack opening!:

With Triple Rares in this pack, I'm always happy with that, especially when the two golden tanks of Chaos Legion, Diemonshark and Cursed Windeku are in my packs. Unfortunately this pack does not meet the $4 value associated with it, but I am fine with that, as I believe Windeku, Diemonshark, and Scavo will outperform in the future as assets!

Card Tips & Tricks

Cursed Windeku

Normal Foil, Rare, Death Monster

Windeku is a very powerful card, those of you in Bronze will see him almost exclusively used as a tank for Death. Those of you in Gold will be cursing him and his heal and insane damage output. Those of your in Diamond hate his slow on top of Death's already plethora of Slows and Weakens.

This is a very solid card and his value will likely only increase from here. Sorry guys, he's just a good card.

Diemonshark

Normal Foil, Rare, Water Monster

Another extremely good tank, high speed, high armor, high health, this monster is more of a traditional tank than Windeku, and he gains Trample, Enrage, and Retaliate making him function very similarly to Thorns.

A Max, Enraged Diemonshark has 6 Melee and 6 Speed with Retaliate and Trample making him a much more offensive tank later on compared to Windeku, who is more about Sustain and Debuffs.

Scavo Hireling

Normal Foil, Common, Neutral Monster

An Awesome card, Camoflage keeps him protected from attackers in Gold, and Slow makes him an additional nuisance in Diamond. His high health and speed paired with Repair at later levels makes him a troublesome opponent in an armor meta, especially when facing something that perfectly counters your team, such as a Return Fire Serpent, a Shield/Void Armor Frost Lion, etc. etc.

Obligatory: If you DON'T have a GF of this card you absolutely SHOULD.

Portal Spinner

Normal Foil, Rare, Life Monster

I don't like Scattershot. It adds a lot of RNG, and stacking up on them puts WAY too much into the hands of Luck. That being said, I've slowly started to fall in love with slotting in a Portal Spinner or Chaos Dragon, but never both, into my lineups.

Portal Spinner his hard and does a lot of damage, avoiding taunts and tanks alike. Its chaotic attacks can completely ruin your comp by hitting the wrong opponent, but they can ALSO turn unwinnable matchups immediately into your favor by a single lucky hit on a squishy support.

Radiated Brute

Normal Foil, Common, Fire Monster

A lot of people hate Radiated Brute. I actually really enjoy her: Once she gets Enrage she is a problem. You can quickly ramp up 6 Reach Damage on this card in Silver with Enrage ruleset, or at anytime in Gold.

The card suffers from rapidly switching its 'ideal' playing space, as it is initially best in Enrage and Reverse Speed and later becomes irrelevant in those rulesets, and becomes more valuable in others.
