Introducing Battle Mage Secrets, the latest addition to our exciting challenges. This contest is all about putting your strategic prowess to the test as you share your epic matches and team compositions designed for specific rule sets.

Prepare to embark on a journey that allows for a world of intriguing and dynamic strategies. In this challenge, players will have the opportunity to select from a wider array of diverse units to lead into battle. Are you up for the challenge? Let's delve into the details.

CHALLENGE RULES

RULESET: Briar Patch


Description:

All units receive the Thorns ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that use melee attacks receive damage back.

Damage returned is equal to damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up.
Melee attack units with the Reflection Shield ability do not take damage from thorns.
The Amplify ability increases damage.


Battle Showcase: Create a post sharing a video link of one of your battles using the Briar Patch ruleset. Be sure to link to your battle even if you also upload it to a video hosting platform like YouTube.

Submission Deadline: The deadline for submissions is 2 days before the post pays out (Monday at 12 pm CDT). This is to ensure that our curators have enough time to review all the entries before the next challenge is posted. Your punctuality is appreciated!

UPVOTES! Participants who follow ALL the rules will receive upvotes from the @steemmonsters account.

Voting Quantity: You can get a MAXIMUM of 2 upvotes per week, per human. Please limit your entries to TWO posts a week. Take your time, make your posts awesome, and impress us with your Splinterlands skills!

Fair Play: Anyone found using more than one account to enter the contest will be muted in the community and banned from all curation and the possibility for participation in future contests.

Please note: Upvotes are not guaranteed and are up to the curator's discretion.

Manual Curation

Splinterlands/steemmonsters is all about community engagement, and that's why we're manually curating (upvoting) your posts! We have an amazing team of community curators, and official team members also have the 'powers' to upvote! We work together to try to upvote in order of entry. Briar Patch come as one of the simple ruleset among others. This rulest just basically grant Thorns to each and every units. Under this effect, the best strategy is to avoid using melee cards to avoid return damage. Other might got nerve to bring melee cards with Shield ability in hope to offset the dealt damage with the sustained.
