Introducing Battle Mage Secrets, the latest addition to our exciting challenges. This contest is all about putting your strategic prowess to the test as you share your epic matches and team compositions designed for specific rule sets.

Prepare to embark on a journey that allows for a world of intriguing and dynamic strategies. In this challenge, players will have the opportunity to select from a wider array of diverse units to lead into battle. Are you up for the challenge? Let's delve into the details.

CHALLENGE RULES

RULESET: Fire & Regret


Description:

All units receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle. Enemy units that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back.

  • Damage returned is equal to damage of the attacker divided by 2, rounded up.
  • Ranged attack units with the Reflection Shield ability do not take damage from reflected magic attacks.
  • The Amplify ability increases damage.


Battle Showcase: Create a post sharing a video link of one of your battles using the Fire & Regret ruleset. Be sure to link to your battle even if you also upload it to a video hosting platform like YouTube.

Submission Deadline: The deadline for submissions is 2 days before the post pays out (Monday at 12 pm CDT). This is to ensure that our curators have enough time to review all the entries before the next challenge is posted. Your punctuality is appreciated!

UPVOTES! Participants who follow ALL the rules will receive upvotes from the @steemmonsters account.

Voting Quantity: You can get a MAXIMUM of 2 upvotes per week, per human. Please limit your entries to TWO posts a week. Take your time, make your posts awesome, and impress us with your Splinterlands skills!

Fair Play: Anyone found using more than one account to enter the contest will be muted in the community and banned from all curation and the possibility for participation in future contests.

Please note: Upvotes are not guaranteed and are up to the curator's discretion.

Manual Curation

This ruleset has been the topic of battle mage secrets in the previous week, you could find my previous post here. As I have mentioned before, Fire & Regret is the least intimidating compared to the other counter abilities. Ranged cards are easily subtituted by melee cards and magic cards. Ranged card are somehow have less defense measure than the rest. Melee and magic cards respectively got a handful card with Shield and Void which could cut down the counter damage, but ranged cards are rarely have these both.
